About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Sunshine1846600 contributionsDelightful and Fun Vegan Food TourOur private vegan food tour with Amy was a very enjoyable experience . Amy was a fantastic guide , organized , friendly , flexible and knowledgeable. She took us to several unique places in Hong Kong off the beaten track where we were able to sample delicious vegan food . It was a delight to see different districts of the city and the use of the subway and buses was easy and fun . The visit to the temple was also interesting and fun . Amy took lots of time with us and easily answered our questions and provided extra information . We would strongly recommend this particular tour and are confident other tours from Amy would be just as good .Written 6 January 2025
- ellyh4320 contributionsGreat option for families, seniors, kidsWonderful experience with friendly, professional and accomodating guide and driver. We were a family of 6 including my elderly (82 yr old) father and kids 5 and 9. We chose the private car because of the limited mobility of my aged dad and the fuss of travelling with little-ish kids. Amy, our guide, and our lovely driver (whose name I don't recall-sorry!) were both thoughtful and responsive, making sure that my father did not have to walk far, arranging for him to ride with some nuns to the top of the Big Buddha so that he didn't have to climb the steps or get left out, and even changing the tour at the last minute at our request to accommodate us riding the cable car (which was not actually included in our package). Amy took us to a wonderful cafe in Tai-O fishing village, showed us around the old heritage Tai-O police building, which is now a fancy hotel, took us out on a boat ride ( unfortunately we didn't get to see any dolphins ). Amy was able to relate to all of the people in our party, and made my daughter's day by providing lollies for the kids! After a wonderful day, Amy dropped us back at our hotel and gave us tips about how to spend our remaining time. Highly recommended this tour.Written 6 January 2025
- ellyh4320 contributionsMuch more than just foodGreat tour with Amy, seeing a very different part of Hong Kong. The food highlight was definitely the tofu factory but the tour was so much more than just eating- Amy showed us around Shek Kip Mei and took us to the Heritage of Mei Ho House museum where we learned about how post war migrants used to live, and we also visited the local markets. It was really interesting to see the less ritzy side of HK and see how regular folk live. Plus, the food was yummy and Amy is knowledgeable and friendly.Written 6 January 2025
- ChrisNorfolk20200 contributionsNYE On Champagne Cruise on Victoria HarbourA brilliant night to celebrate the end of 2024 aboard a yacht sailing around Victoria Harbour, with the midnight firework finale. The excellent and good humoured staff ensured our glasses were constantly topped up with champagne and plentiful delicious food was served up! Very detailed instructions were also provided to us before hand to ensure we could easily find the meeting point (greatly appreciated as we had only arrived late the day before and suffering from jet lag!).Written 1 January 2025
- kristinawG8508WR0 contributionsBrilliant Day Tour of Lantau Island and the Tao Fishing Village with Exceptional Tour GuideWhat a fantastic tour of Lantau Island including the Big Buddha, Po Lin Monastery and Ta O Fishing Village. We were so lucky to have Amy as out tour guide. Amy was so knowledgeable and explained in very interesting detail the significance and history of all the sights we visited. We learnt so much not only about the places we visited but also about local life in Hong Kong. I had so many questions and Amy happily answered them all. By the end of the tour I felt like I was being shown around by a friend. My teenage sons often get bored on long tours but they commented on how great Amy was and how much they enjoyed the day. Amy's driver Ken was also a very safe driver and the car we spent the day in was very spacious and comfortable. My sons and husband had an appointment with a tailor in Kowloon and at the end of the tour, they dropped them off first and then continued to show me parts of Hong Kong Island and dropped me back to my hotel. I would highly recommend using Amy's company for any tours you wish to do in Hong Kong. My only regret is that I didn't discover Amy earlier in our stay. If we return to Hong Kong in the future, Amy will be the first person we reach out to. Thank you so much Amy and Ken for a brilliant day.Written 6 October 2024
- 264nylap0 contributionsSo much infomation and food!i took the Mid Autumn festival tour with Angel and it was so lovely. Many foods included from traditional Hong Kong stores like Moon Cake, dim sums, jerky, piggy biscuit, wife cakes, and Angel had a fascinating story for each one. The group I joined was so nice and we got to know each other because only 6 of us.Also went to the famous lantern streetWritten 14 September 2024
- Henjamin130 contributionsFun and informative tour with a knowledgeable local guide :)I took a tour with Amy around Lantau. Amy is incredibly personable, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, making a trip to see the big Buddha, the Monastery and Tai O village all that more immersive. While on a boat trip in Tai O during a spell of rain, Amy was able to spot a pink dolphin which I'm sure I would've missed without her eagle-eyed experience! Would definitely recommend.Written 9 May 2024

- 4mikis0 contributionsCrispy tofu to die for~the tour was so much more than just vegetarian food! the highlight for us was definitely the tofu stop, so crisby and flavourful, we would never have discovered this little local place if it was not for Amy, apart from that we also visited fortune tellers and a pretty Chinese Garden, was great to see different neighborhoods throughout Hong KongWritten 2 April 2024
- sonnalib0 contributionsAmazing night timeWe had a great time with angel . Super friendly she was ! Tried to covered as much as we could on our short 4 hour trip. Main highlight was the peak tram!a must goWritten 1 April 2024
- debralY4846IT0 contributionsGreat adventure on Lantau IslandThe trip around Lantau Island with Amy was fantastic! We had a wonderful time. We got amazing photos and learned a lot about Hong Kong in general and Lantau in detail. Thank you Amy! We will see you next year!Written 30 March 2024
- citychick0 contributionsFriendly guide and a fascinating placeMy tour guide was Amy and she was brilliant. Originally from England, she speaks perfect English and and Cantonese and is clearly well liked by the locals on Lantau. It was such a fascinating tour, never been anywhere like the village. Very inspiring. We also saw white dolphins and tried local foods. Amy was very personal and fun. Highly recommendWritten 29 March 2024
- maris570 contributionsMagical Night TourOur first night in Hong Kong we took a private walking tour with Jami. He welcomed us to Hong Kong with a wealth of knowledge, a smile to light up the town and a fantastic sense of humor. I can’t believe how much we covered in our night tour. I think we walked over 14,000 steps! Jami made the history of the area come alive and fascinating. We also learned about the people, the way of living and life in general in Hong Kong. We viewed the light show from the perfect location and ended the evening with a delicious light dim sum dinner and good local beer. Jami also took some great photos of us to remember this magical evening. I wish we had more time to do it all over again with of course Jami as our guide and friend.Written 21 March 2024
- 256miam0 contributionsTemples, local culture, and hidden gems! The trip was fantastically well-planned; we saw a lot of exiting things that we would never have experienced on our own, even though we have lived in Hong Kong for a while, and we learned a lot about Hong Kong’s culture. Angels was a fantastic host.Written 18 February 2024
- ramgopalr7500 contributionsHighly Recommended!Absolutely amazing and memorable experience! Our tour started off with a peacefull stroll through Nan Lian Garden. The place exudes beauty and tranquility. This was followed by an incredibly satisfying vegetarian/vegan lunch in Tai Po. My folks who can be quite particular about their food choices were delighted with the options available at Green Hub. However, what set this tour apart was not just the places we went to but our guide, Amy. Its a no brainer that shes a HK culture buff and is dedicated to ensuring that you have an exceptional experience. She even went out of her way and took us to Mirs bay so we could get a peek of the mainland from HK. If you have a couple of hours to spare and are looking for an enjoyable family outing, this tour is a must try. Thank you HK Greeters and Amy!Written 26 October 2023

Wow, booked Amy for our first day in Hong Kong and it was worth every penny. Amy met us at our hotel which was invaluable as we didn’t need to think how do we find our way around.
She helped us buy an Octopus card which are great value for money and can be used on most forms of transport.
We learnt so much about the history of Hong Kong as well as visiting the main tourist areas, without having to worry about getting lost.
As Amy is English we also swapped stories about families and life in Hong Kong.
If you’re thinking of a tour guide 100% contact Amy. If you’re worried about the media attention on the protests please don’t be worried . Nothing effected our stay, in fact it was an amazing time to visit as it was less busy.

Review of Small Group Hong Kong Shore Excursion With Transfer From Port in Private Vehicle
Reviewed 4 days ago
Our party of 6 was greeted by Amy at the cruise port right on time in her van.
She is a positive cheerfull person who has the perfect personality to be a tour guide. The day long tour was beyond our expectations and she had boundless energy, well after the contracted time for our excursion. She guided us through all of the highlights and was our needed translator at the delicious dim sum lunch.
Her knowledge of Hong Kong, the culture and history is amazing.
We highly recommend her.

We planned several tours with Amy in Hong Kong and unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus and changes in our cruise ship itinerary, we had to cancel our visit to Hong Kong.
Over the many months of planning, I sent numerous emails to Amy asking lots of questions and she always responded quickly and offered many suggestions. I always say that you can tell a lot about a company by their pre-sales work.
I was very sorry and sad to cancel as I was looking forward to our trip and to finally meet Amy.
I rate her one of the best.

My daughter Jennifer and I toured with Amy and it was an incredible and fun day. It was our first day and it was a wonderful introduction to the sights and mysteries of Hong Kong! She has lots of energy and a great sense of humor, which charmed my daughter. We had sent her places we wanted to include in advance, then she suggested others to add in which really enhanced the day. This was truly a customized tour. She was such a good sport too, she went with us to this weird Rabbit Cafe my daughter wanted to visit. I highly recommend booking a half or full day with Amy. Hong Kong can be overwhelming, so this is the best way to see this unique city.

Peaks to Piers is an amazing way to get to know Hong Kong in a fun and quick way. Whether in town for a short stay or long stay, the tour will start you off in the city on the right foot. Amy is beyond fun, efficient, and informative as she shows off a city she clearly loves tailored to your interests. Along the way, you cannot help but fall in love with the city too. Also, if you like butter, do not pass on the pineapple bread at the local cafe, it is heaven.

We only had 15 hours to spend in Hong Kong on a stopover. We were so happy we booked Amy as our guide! We saw so much of Hong Kong and she kept it fun and interesting. She was a pleasure to hang out with for the day. Her English is perfect and she has a great personality. Loved that she sent us a list and marked all the places we visited on Google maps! Highlights include going on The Peak Tram and going for a breathtaking hike above the city. The view was amazing! Dim sum lunch with the locals was also so good! She was very knowledgeable and shared great stories. Would definitely recommend her!

I had booked a tour with a different HK (Hong Kong) tour agent on Expedia.com. Their tour guide did not show up. It was a complete mess and my stay in HK was just one afternoon and a night. I rushed to call several local tour agents. Only “Hong Kong Greeters” picked up my call and responded immediately. Within an hour, William at “Hong Kong Greeters” arrived my hotel and rescued my trip plan. He is most knowledgeable with life experience in HK. He is an educator and a retired professor. With his help, from late afternoon and late night, I had gone through the most popular visiting spots and learned the HK past, present and the future developments. I would strongly recommend their services to anyone I know.

As a personalised & therefore upscale tour, in English language, this was very good. Of course Any ‘knows her stuff’ and is very personable and bright … classy indeed, including excellence in suggestions beyond the tour, and the like. A perfect introduction to HK for those with a limited time stay in HK.
