    Incredible and unique food tour
This was definitely the most extensive food tour I have been on. We tried so much delicious food and also got to learn about the history and culture of Hong Kong! Mel was a great guide, and he really went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great experience. Not to mention basically every stop was Michelin recommended… Cannot recommend this tour enough!

Fabulous food tour on Hong Kong Island
We have just returned from a holiday to Hong Kong and one of the highlights of the trip was our food tour with Mel. Mel was a wonderful guide: he is engaging, professional and knowledgeable, and he made the tour very entertaining and interesting for our 7 year old and 11 year old daughters. Despite having lived in Hong Kong previously, we saw a side of the local food culture with Mel that we had never experienced before. After touring some local dried seafood and local medicine shops (our brief to Mel was "the more unusual the better"), we stopped at a tea shop where we enjoyed a traditional tea ceremony. We then moved on to a barbecue meat restaurant to try an assortment barbecue meats, noodles, rice and local drinks. Mel then found a couple of stores specialising in desserts requested by our daughters: egg waffles and egg tarts - both were delicious! We walked through a traditional wet market showcasing very fresh produce and ended at a Michelin-rated dim sum restaurant which served wonderful dumplings and another dish that our girls wanted to try, chicken feet. All in all, this food tour was a thoroughly enjoyable way to experience a more authentic Hong Kong. We would highly recommend Mel and the tour to anyone!

A fast paced look at Kowloon
We saw a lot of Kowloon in half a day with Alex. From fresh air markets and food stalls to the bright lights of Victoria harbor there were lots of sights and a few tasty bites. Alex knows a ton about the history and politics of the city and gave us a good overview of the contest between the riches and reality of Hong Kong.

    HK 4 Hr tour
Sinclair was great, and we got a real taste of Hong Kong despite the rain. We were able to see highlights, and had just enough time to squeeze this in during a business trip. Loved it!

    Great food Large portions.
I’ve done food tours all over the world and this one is the absolute best. Mel was a great guide and personally knew the people in most of the Michelin Guide locations. Bring stretchy pants because this one will leave you full.

    Great Snapshot of HK
Sinclair was on the dot to meet us at the hotel at the time we had scheduled. He has a pleasing and friendly demeanor and is very informative. He was receptive to what we wanted from the tour and was happy to take us accordingly. We got an overview of HK and we enjoyed our time with Sinclair. He was always checking in to make sure that we were ok and enjoying ourselves. Would highly recommend Sinclair !!Only downside was that the tour itself is a bit on the pricey side

Great introduction to an amazing city.
Alex was a great tour guide. This tour was a fantastic introduction to Hong Kong for us, especially considering our limited time here. We experienced many places and things that we would otherwise not known existed, and Alex had a great in-depth knowledge of Hong Kong history. Most of the food was delicious, with one or two things not to our taste, but it was all certainly good quality. Thanks Alex for being a great host in your beautiful city.

    Great culinary journey
The small group Hong Kong island food tour was a great culinary journey. The dim sum was a delightful assortment of dumplings, spring rolls and rice rolls, each bursting with unique flavors. The flaky and sweet egg tart left a lasting impression, and the wanton noodles were perfectly balanced in taste and texture. The rich and aromatic milk tea was a refreshing treat, especially under the scorching hot sun. Riding the iconic tram added a charming touch to the tour. Our food tour guide Sinclair’s knowledge of local cuisine and history added depth to the experience. Overall, the tour provided a fantastic blend of traditional flavours and cultural exploration.

Can’t imagine the day without Sinclair!
Sinclair made our trip to Tai O & Lantau island seamless and so fun. Although it was an incredibly scorching day, having Sinclair as our tour guide made the experience beyond worth it. He had everything planned out and we didn’t have to think about what was next or where to go. Sinclair had such great facts and information about places along the way- it made our trip that much more interesting. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does and his warm and easy going personality made all of us feel comfortable. He felt like a great friend to us at the end of the day. I highly recommend having Sinclair as your guide around Hong Kong!

We had a last minute reroute with our flight and wound up having an 11 hour layover in Hong Kong. I made arrangements 2 days before for us to have the 6 hour tour while we were there. Things could not have gone more smoothly. Communication was great! Ryan met us at the airport and showed us some of the main sights to see around town. We got to experience the different means of public transportation and some local food. The trip to Victoria Peak was the highlight of the day. What a beautiful view! Ryan was very friendly and informative, we learned a lot. It was a great day!

Richard was our Hello Hong Kong tour guide as we ate our way through Hong Kong. He combined a food tour with an educational tour of Hong Kong. Richard was plain awesome. He was very flexible with the scheduling as we enjoyed the tastes of Chinese cuisine and learned about Hong Kong history and culture. Thanks, Richard. We really enjoyed our brief stay in Hong Kong.

We had a 12 hour layover in Hong Kong so my husband, 11 year old son, and I took advantage of it by spending a wonderful and enjoyable day with Richard visiting the sites by public transportation. Richard was incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and immediately put our family at ease. Although this was not my husband's nor my first time in Hong Kong, Richard shared a lot of history and information which was new to us, and he did a great job of keeping our son engaged. Highly recommend this tour for everyone!

I had the best time. I got to see soooo much even though 5 hrs where not near enough to be able to see it all. We did most of the tour by walking and a few rides by train, double decker and boat. Tried some local delicious food and snack. Mel was an amazing tour guide and photographer. He’s very knowledgeable and had my best time with him. Can’t wait to get back soon and thx for all ur help.

I had a 1 hr. layover in Hong Kong so my cousins booked me on a 6 hr tour through Hello Hong Kong, because they had enjoyed their tour through them in December.
Ryan was so open and friendly and willing to discuss any topic in detail. It was not a rush to see everything tour. We went at my pace and lingered or passed depending on my interest, but we also managed to pack in so many interesting places.
When I told my cousins all the interesting "fun facts" I learned about Hong Kong they were impressed on how diverse my tour was. We will all be recommending Hello Hong Kong and I especially recommend Ryan.

Richard took us on a fantastic 7 hour tour of Hong Kong. His wealth of knowledge about geography, landmarks, history and Philosophies were outstanding. The walk down Lugard Road to the best view of Hong Kong was just one of many highlights. Richard went above and beyond to organise a very special lunch for us at Chi Lin Nunnery.

This one of the best private tours we've had as a group, due to Jane's pre- and post- tour work and her knowledge of Hong Kong. We liked that we were asked about specific activities/sites we wanted included in the tour several weeks before we landed in Hong Kong. She contacted me by text and a phone call just before our group met with her. She was prompt, so making the initial connection at our hotel was easy. She provided an overview or what was planned for the day and had map on her iPad, so we had an initial sense of what we would see and do. Rain was forecasted for the day and it turned out that the rain was sporadic, sometime heavy, but we were prepared. Jane made effortless changes to the tour to take the rain into account. Because it wasn't raining when we started, she took us on a brief harbor tour before heading up to Victoria Peak by taxi, for an outstanding view of the harbor. We took the funicular from the Peak back down and toured the Central district. She took us to a local restaurant that featured several delicious choices of Wonton soup. After lunch, it was raining so we were able to continue touring by taking the covered mid-levels walkway and escalators. She explained several interesting sites along the way, such as where Ho Chi MInh was imprisoned in the 1930s. There were many other, very interesting sites she pointed out (too numerous to mention); but in the end, we all felt that she had given us a great overview of Hong Kong. To summarize, we all felt that Jane was very enthusiastic in explaining many different aspects of Hong Kong (culture, history, daily life, etc.). She knows her way around the city, so we were able to experience a wide variety of transportation methods that got us to places quickly. She volunteered to take many pictures of our group. What was especially noteworthy was that she sent a long, summary explanation of the tour, shortly after the tour, which is a nice keepsake that will help us remember the details of what we did and saw. Thanks again, Jane!!

Stephanie was an amazing guide on our tour. Very knowledgeable with the area and highlights so that we didn't waste time. We were a little apprehensive about the public transportation but she made it easy and as a result we were able to enjoy so much more of the Hong Kong area. Her relationship with the restaurant in the quaint fishing village that we toured offered us an enhanced authentic experience. Highly recommended!

Richard knew Hong Kong so well, his conversation providing a fascinating mixture of history and modern life. He adapted our walk as we went catering to our discussions, so we visited traditional medicine shops, the flower market and had a superb stroll on Victoria peak. It was fun to use the different forms of transport, the star ferry was the highlight. There is no way I could have seen as much as I did, nor found the dim sums without such an excellent guide.
