Overview
There are plenty of Victoria Harbour cruise options available, but few still use a traditional red-sail junk boat. So, it’s worth booking ahead to secure the time of your choice on one of Hong Kong’s last remaining junks. Choose between early evening, sunset, or nighttime cruises, and kick back with a chilled cocktail as you sail.
What to Expect
Make your own way to Central or Tsim Sha Tsui pier for this Victoria Harbour cruise aboard a traditional red-sail junk. Pick an early departure time, just as the city lights turn on; later, in time for sunset; or at night, when the illuminations are at their finest.
Then sit back and relax in the spacious cabin, or stand and admire the views from the deck, as you cruise past Hong Kong’s towers and skyscrapers. Soak up the fresh air and savor a chilled cocktail as you cruise past what is truly one of the world’s great skylines. Your junk will drop you at Tsim Sha Tsui pier, which has excellent transport connections.

Harbour light tour

I was disappointed in the Harbour Light Tour. My disappointment was more in the lights than the junk ride. I had seen the lights many years ago and it was beautiful. This time a lot seem to be missing in the light show.

Relaxing great city lights

I rocked up at a few minutes to 8 at pier 1 and was lucky enough to see the symphony of lights. I then spent an hour gently cruising around the harbour, taking in the amazing lights of HK city. Being December, there was a...More

Huge disappointment

This was what I wanted to do most while visiting Hong Kong. Instead it turned out to be false advertising. We were NOT on a red sail junk like advertised. Instead it was a white sail with sails down. When we asked why the sails...More
