Good things first: the tour itself was fantastic, exactly as described. A special shoutout to our driver, Keith—he was not only incredibly reliable but also very informative and kind throughout the trip. Now for the worst part: at the end of the tour, we were taken to a tea ceremony, which was presented as a complimentary experience and free of charge. The tea lady was fluent in English and undeniably skilled at salesmanship, which, as I learned later, was not in our best interest. To my shock, I discovered the next day that I was charged over $800 for three boxes of tea. At the time, the pricing was not made clear, and being unfamiliar with the local currency, I didn’t realize the exorbitant cost until I reviewed my credit card statement. If this was not a mistake, it’s outright fraudulent to take advantage of tourists in this manner. Given that the Addiction Travel Agency arranged for this stop at the tea house, I must say that this experience reflects poorly on the agency for partnering with such unethical businesses. I hope they investigate this immediately and reconsider sending unsuspecting customers into what seems like a well-disguised tourist trap. Without action, this incident taints what could have been a wonderful experience.

Keith was a good tour guide. He was kind of non-chalant and cool, and pretty well spoken all together. We discussed very boring economics in the vehicle en route to the sights. The destinations themselves are of course easy 5 stars and should never be missed when in China. Again, Keith was very easy to speak to and not so formal, making it just a bit like a tour with a friend. I tried many times to make him laugh, which was tough. He is a tough sell! But I got him at least once laughing. The car ride is a little bit long but that’s expected to see The Summer Palace and The Great Wall all in one single day. We left our printed photos from The Great Wall Photo Booth from the slide down and he carefully took photos of our photo (at my request as we had left town already) and was very helpful. Enjoy!

An absolutely amazing day. Our awesome tour guide Keith took us around and shared great information and good jokes. The day was perfect, especially seeing the wall and having a yummy lunch. Highly recommend. Thank you Keith for a great day!

I was visiting China for the first time and this small tour gave me a care-free experience of the highlights in Beijing. Plus as a solo traveler it was a great way to meet others from around the world.

Fantastic trip and Mike was a great guide with good English. Highly recommend the great wall and summer palace. Overall very good value especially for first time traveller to Beijing.

We were hoping to spend more time at the forbidden city to see the Gallery of Clocks but didn't spend enough time there. The guide was OK, but could have spent more time describing things, and giving historical context. The bus was ok,but a bit uncomfortable.

We booked this event by Agoda and met our tour guide (Mr Zhao Lei). He was friendly and very considerate towards our elderly parents. He was willing to slow down his pace and waited for us. During the whole tour, he explained thoroughly, and we had a real fruitful experience during the tour. He even gave us suggestions when purchasing the souvenirs. We highly recommended this tour guide.

Linda and Sun were amazing guides!!!! This tour covers brilliant highlights of Beijing including the summer palace, the great wall and more. Linda is a highly knowledgeable tour guide who gave us a lot of fascinating information. She made everything so easy and seamless. We had great fun on this tour!! Linda speaks excellent English and could help us to communicate at each place - she also knows all the best spots for photos and views of the great wall, away from all the tourist crowds. Sun was a very good driver, very safe and comfortable car. Do not hesitate to book this tour!!!

We only stayed two days in Beijing, so we took the tour to visit the highlights! We really enjoyed it, in only 2 days we could visit the main attractions, with an English guide, transport and lunch. In both days the lunch was incredible. The guides, Bruce and Keith, were very nice. For the great wall, we took a cable car to arrive on top, from there we had time to walk all the way up and take pictures.
