We were very fortunate to have Charles as our guide on our Masai Mara safari. He has a keen eye & ear to spot animals from as far as 5kms. He very patiently drove us around the forest, and thanks to him, we spotted a pride of lions, a tower of giraffes, a dazzle of zebras, & a confusion of wildebeests. By the way, it was Charles who enlightened us with these collective nouns. His timely and swift efforts gave us the opportunity to witness the rare and phenomenonal Great Migration. He even made special arrangements for us to view the spectacular sunset in the Savanahs. If you want your Masai mara safari to be truly memorable, I strongly recommend Charles as your guide.

What am amazing trip! Our days were filled with safaris, where we saw the big 5, the ugly 5 and most of the little 5 again and again. The accommodations and food were 5 star, and all the travel arrangements went smoothly. Eric was there every step of the way answering a million questions about anamals, plants and places/history. His passion for wildlife is addictive . As a novice photographer that I am , he is patient and gives time to take photos . Every time I go , there is a different experience . The lodges are very clean and a delight . Buffets offer a more than enough choices . I can't wait to return .

Our family-friend group had an outstanding experience with Esa Safaris. On a 10 day safari, I learned more than I could've ever imagined and was so pleasantly surprised by how easy our guides, Eric and Charles, made the trip for three families with kids. The hi-lights were easy airport pick up, comfortable jeeps with snacks, and nightly accommodations that provided us even more time with the wildlife ( zebras, hippos, giraffes, wildebeest, flamingos and SO many birds of Kenya). We felt so taken care of on the trip. It was the expertise of the guides who shared their naturalist knowledge and that of the culture and history of Kenya which provided us with an experience that we will never forget.

We saw an amazing variety of animals and birds! Eric placed us in the right place at the right time to see a pride of lions, a crush of rhinos, a tower of giraffes, a blot of hippos, a creche of ostriches and much more. Eric's joy in exploring Nairobi Game Park is infectious.

Eric was an amazing guide and safari game driver!!! We had the most epic and dreamy trip to the Mara Triangle (Kenya) with Eric as our guide. Eric was our champion the entire way. His knowledge of local history, the geography and history of the Mara, and all the flora and fauna is unparalleled. Plus he always knew where the special animals were going to be. We saw a rare baby leopard and soon found its mother hunting nearby! Our tour was custom built for our travel plans and exceeded our wildest expectations! This 13 day trip best of Kenya was simply incredible! Truly a trip of a lifetime. Eric went above & beyond to give us an amazing trip. We went for the wildlife which didn’t disappoint & enjoyed learning about & meeting Kenyan people. Visited a Samburu village & brought school supplies to the children; visited a Maasai village; woman weavers. The lodges & food was wonderful! Eric’s knowledge of wildlife was extensive. He went above & beyond to give us an extraordinary experience we’ll never forget! We’d like to go back next year.

We did the Nairobi National Park tour together with Eric, it was absolutely great. Eric was an amazing tour guide, we started early and saw lions, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, zebras, monkeys, buffalos and so much more. We had so much fun, and the best tour guide!
