          Could be better
The Masai Mara has a good density of animals, and you'll see a lot. The landscape and the tour itself is great. We were promised bottled water and didn't get any until day 2. And the lodge wanted 2 dollars pr bottle (small). The tourguide couldn't/wouldn't help because we all came from different agencies. The tour operator didn't reply until it was already fixed. And even when we had water, we were restricted to how many bottles we could have. Like, come on. Water is the bare minimum of what is expected, and it is so easy/cheap to provide. The tour guide was an incredible driver, but it seemed like he wasn't very much of a people person, and he didn't tell us a lot about the animals or update us on what was going on. I felt like I was bothering him when I asked questions. Overall I had a good experience but it could've been so much better.

          Great experience with Samuel!
We had a great 3 days 2 nights tour in Masai Mara with them! Our driver Samuel drove us safely and demonstrated to have a lot of effort for his job! Thanks to Samuel we were able to see the big 5, and also Lions hunting Pumba :) it was one of the best experiences I ever had in my life! Samuele was constantly in contact with other drivers in order to move fast in the park when someone spotted some wild activity :) Accommodation is nice, with hot water and cozy rooms. Restaurant was simply amazing, dinner and breakfast were awesome! Atmosphere in the camp is calm, with Masai people very (Real Masai) friendly. Camp is just 5minutes away from the park entrance, it makes everything very suggestive.

          unforgettable trip to Tsavo east
Our trip to Kenya was fantastic. We were picked up at our hotel on time by our Guide Pascal. Damaris did the entire guidance and handling upfront quickly and carefully. The 4x4 car was very comfortable and we drove it around Tsavo East for 3 wonderful days. Pascal is an enthusiastic and experienced guide who was there for us all the time. He knows a lot about the animals and the environment. We were also allowed to use his binoculars and had all kinds of books on board to inform us. We were all pleasantly surprised that we also saw the leopard. The accommodation Voi was also completely fine. Great food and the view phenomenal. I can recommend everyone to book your safari here. Safe, punctual, clean, everything was fine. We traveled with our three children of 12-14-16 years old and they also had the time of their lives. Very worthwhile.

          Exceeded our expectations!
Our safari experience with Chris - SafariDoctor exceeded our expectations! Chris found the big 9 and so many more! He is very knowledgeable about the animals and so the safari was an educational experience too. Chris is a great driver on the dirt roads as well as on the highways between the parks and went out of his way to take care of our needs. We started our safari early January which is after the rainy season so the grass was green which made for beautiful photos and memories!

          Unforgettable safari adventure with Chris
We had an unforgettable safari adventure with Chris, the “Safari Doctor,” whose keen eye and insights made every moment memorable. He spotted a camouflaged male lion and guided us through an incredible scene where a pride used strategy and teamwork to hunt a buffalo. Chris explained how lions communicate through subtle signals, showcasing their remarkable coordination. His expertise and dedication made our trip both safe and extraordinary, and we’re truly grateful for his outstanding guidance.

The best and most helpful staff
We had a lovely stay at Keekorok The staff led by Judy made the stay quite exceptional. The rooms are clean and I loved the net above the bed. We had no problem with bite. The hippo pool is amazing to watch and only a short walk I love to eat the food of the country I visit and I really enjoyed the Kenyan food offerings but there were other options too. The breakfasts were great especially the omelette station which was my favourite. The serving staff could not do enough to help I would thank them for making my stay memorable

          Massai Mara Safari
Massai mara tour was awesome, and our tour guide Sammy was the best! We saw every animal except cheetah and Rhino. The massai also took good care of us back at the camp with good meals and drinks. Unforgettable experience for my girl and I.

          Accommodating and professional
Joel at Perfect Wilderness Safaris was very accommodating and helpful. We called last minute the afternoon before to arrange a game drive in Maasai Mara and Joel delivered. Our guide, Phillip, was knowledgeable, timely, and efficient. What we appreciated the most was their professionalism and very quick responses.

          Perfect Day with Perfect Safaris
I went to Hell‘s Gate national park for a safari bike tour and was not deceived: led by the park guide, another tourist and I discovered the volcano-shaped landscape, beautiful bolder rocks and the mesmerizing fauna in the midst of the small canyon-like scenery. Continuing by foot ins more protected zone, we also got to see the sceneries that inspired the movie makers of Tomb Raider II and the Lion King. Many many thanks to Nuru from Perfect Safaris for picking me up in he morning and bringing me to the sights. We had a joyful car ride and both interesting and heart-warming talks along the way! Nitarudi tena, if God is willing 🙏🏾

We actually went on a 9 day safari with Perfect Wilderness Safaris.

I won’t be able to say enough good things about the experience we had. This is definitely the company to book with! There are so many Safari companies to choose from both locally and internationally. I’m so glad that we decided on Perfect Wilderness. My communication with Everline was mostly through email. She answered all of my many, many questions and custom tailored our trip so we were able to experience a little of everything. She was so consistent and thorough and communication with her was so easy.

Paul picked us up from the airport in Nairobi. Unfortunately the queue for passport control was quite long when we landed and I was worried he might miss us. I was able to contact Everline and explained the delay. She then contacted Paul who patiently waited for us to exit the airport. Paul was so kind and even offered to drive us around the city. He warmly welcomed us to Kenya and set the whole tone for our wonderful trip.

Nathan was our safari guide and driver for the next nine days. We could not have asked for a better guide/driver. Nathan was so kind and accommodating. He is a skillful driver through the busy streets of Nairobi and the back roads throughout the reserves, and was able to spot out wildlife from great distances. We made jokes with him that he has much better eyesight and hearing than anyone else in our vehicle as he was always the first to see wildlife! He made it a priority to see the big 5 which we did and gave us ample time for photos. He made sure to communicate well with us as to the days itinerary and times to leave. The Safari vehicle was cleaned every night as well which helped us see through the windows after a day on the dirt roads. We felt very safe with him throughout the trip and he made sure our needs were met. We had plenty of water in the vehicle and Nathan made sure we had enough wash room stops. He was a wealth of information and made sure all our questions were answered.

If you are thinking about a safari or day tour in Kenya, this is the way go. I can’t thank Everline, Paul, and especially Nathan enough for helping make our trip one we will never forget. We made some lifelong memories and friends and Kenya will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Tip: If you are going on a longer safari make sure to bring sweets for the adorable children in the villages! We wished we had brought more to give to them.

We really enjoyed our trip, it was well organised, we had different guide but they were all super kind, professionnal with a hudge knowledge.

Every place has its own particularity
Massai Mara = lots of animals, balloon safari, local massai village

Lake Nakuru = beautiful scenary, rino, flamingos and other species

Lake Naivasha = hippo and birds watching + proximité of animals in Hells gâté

Amboseli= beautiful and diversify scenary and fauna and nice view on the Kilimandjaro.

I think this is a full program that cover any expectations.

Hello, Thank you for taking time to write us a wonderful review and recommending us to the tripadvisor readers. We are delighted to read that you had an amazing safari with us. Kenya is the among the top destinations for wildlife and safari, and this particular safari lends one the opportunity to visit central wildlife destinations in Kenya. To cap it all is the balloon safari experience that ends with a champagne breakfast as you appreciate the beauty of Masai Mara. We would love to have you again in future as we explore other destinations.

As a family of four (with two grown up children) we were delighted with our safari trip. We were privileged to have our driver/guide Nathan to look after us all the way on our 7 day safari.
Everything went smoothly as soon as Nathan picked us up from our hotel in Nairobi.
Our first stop was the rift valley, which despite being cloudy that day, didn't spoil our view. Arriving at the Maasai, along the bumpy red road, we were greeted with hot towels and a lovely buffet lunch at the Olmoran Tented Camp.
Nathan then took us on a late afternoon game drive. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful, not just at this park, but the whole trip.
After the Maasai and a visit to the Maasai village (an absolute must - our tour guide Callum was brilliant) we headed to Nakuru for an afternoon. Staying at the Eagle Palace Hotel was great but a bit too noisy as it was in the centre. However, the staff and facilities were superb.
Navaisha the next day was one of our favourite days - biking in Hell's Gate and a walk to the Gorge view point with Chaz, our very knowledgeable guide. A stay in the Astorian Grand Hotel was very pleasant.
Our last stay was Amboseli and we weren't disappointed with the Reserve (different to the Maasai as it had a lot more watering holes where the animals gathered and a viewpoint where we took a picnic). Our stay in AA Lodges was again superb and we didn't want to leave.
Overall, we had a fantastic time and would recommend Nathan as a guide (he is very calm, an excellent driver on the sometimes treacherous roads and had brilliant knowledge of the animals - he had a talent for positioning the van exactly where we could see the animals better).
If I was to do this again, I would definitely go with Perfect Wilderness as they (Betty and Everline) have been so helpful throughout (this was originally booked for 2020 before Covid hit). The only thing I would change would be to stay in lodges/tents throughout, rather than hotels (but I'm sure this could have been arranged if I wished it). Nothing was too much trouble for this Perfect Wilderness and I'm glad we used a local company rather than go through an international travel agent as our experience was much more enriched. Thank you to all for making this a fantastic experience.

My husband and I decided on Perfect Wilderness tours for our safari of July 2021. I chose this company for several reasons- their exceptionally fast response to any questions and concerns I had (thank you, Everline!), the assistance in navigating the unusual covid VISA restrictions on entering Kenya, and the fact that they were willing to work with my preferences regarding itinerary and lodging. I was very glad that I chose this company! We were picked up at the airport as soon as we arrived, given excellent guidance and advice. We saw the amazing animals of Kenya, and were dropped off back at the airport - safe and sound - seven days later. i can highly recommend Perfect Wilderness as well as our guide/driver, Joel! It was an amazing holiday thanks to Perfect Wilderness, and we would happily use them again for our next trip to the area.

From the 1st interaction with Evaline from Perfect Wilderness over email everything was great she advised on the best option within our budget and time frame, adding on airport transfer and hotel accommodation in Nairobi. The 30/70 payment plan option was great. Evaline was available and communicative on our arrival checking on arrangements and keeping us updated. All the drivers/guides, vehicles and accommodations arranged as part of the package were professional and helpful. A special shout out to Nathan our driver and guide for Lake Nakuru and Amboseli who was very knowledgeable about the wildlife in Amboseli.

We are about to return from a family trip to Kenya and couldn't be more pleased with the services provided by Perfect Wildreness.

Our itinerary included a safari to Masai Mara, Amboseli, and Lake Naivasha, as well as airport transfers in Nairobi and a seamless drop-off at Diani Beach. The agency also handled our return to Nairobi via a domestic flight, ensuring everything went smoothly.

Damaris, who managed our booking, was simply amazing. She was incredibly responsive to our requests and messages, making the entire planning process stress-free. We felt well taken care of and confident that everything was in good hands.

A special mention goes to Chris, our driver and guide for the safari. He was the best guide we could have asked for! Chris ensured we saw all the incredible wildlife, including the Big Four (no Rhinos in sight unfortunately), and provided invaluable information about the animals and the country. His knowledge and enthusiasm truly enhanced our experience, making it unforgettable.

Overall, we had a fantastic time in Kenya, thanks to the professionalism and dedication of this agency. We highly recommend them. Thank you for making our family trip so memorable!

April 2022, 2 adults and our 3 daughters (ages 10, 13 & 15). We had such a fantastic tour with Simba and everything worked out perfectly. We loved the hotels that were booked by Perfect Wilderness and felt completely safe driving between parks and viewing the animals within the parks. Our guide Simba was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. We enjoyed getting to know him and spend time in such a beautiful place. We wholeheartedly recommend booking a tour with Perfect Wilderness!!!

When we arrived on Nairobi Airport our driver Nathan was waiting already for us to pick us up. We had booked a private safari for 9 Days. First off all we visit in Nairobi the Girrafe centre and later theDavid Sheldrick wildlife trust Elephant nursery.

After that we went to Naivasha for a couple off days to visit some friends and relativs. Nathan brought us everywhere we had to go and hadgreat time.

After this days in Naivasha it was time to start our program for Safari from Perfect Wilderness. We went first to the Maasai Mara to try and find the big five. We found a lot of wildlife there and the visit to the Mara river was nice.We found from the big five the Elephant, Buffelo and the Lion. We saw also the Cheetah and the ussual animals.

After that we celebrate newyears eve in the Mara we went the following day to Nakuru national park to find more annimals. In this park we found the Rhino. There are not so many Flamingo's as years ago due to the rise of the waterlevel in the lake.

After 1 day Nakuru , we went to amboseli National park. This was a long drive trough Kenya but a nice on about the few. When we arrived there in the afternoon we did a game drive and saw plenty of Elephants. But Mount Kilimanjaro was hidden in the clouds. Hoppefully we can see it early in the morning next day.

The next day was Mount Kilimanjaro awake and we saw his beaty whit plenty of Elephants. This is the real out of Africa picture that you want to see.

At the end of the day we visit a Maasai village. We got a tour and saw how primativ this people are living.

After al those days in the African Wilderness we had finished our safari and went to the coast. Nathan dropped us on time on the airport to cautch our flight to Diani Beach.I really thank Nathan for his hospatillity and good guidness in the parks.

Details will follow. Just an appetizer: Mr Joel told me to be ready at the lobby of the hotel for departure from Amboseli at 6.30 am today. It is now 7.40 am and Mr Joel (who is, by the way the owner) is still not here. No info on his part when he will appear, nothing. Very unprofessional. More interesting details about the service of this travel agency will follow. I will most certainly not recommend this travel agency.

Hello Mr Nikolas, 1. I do appreciate your view about the just recent 7 days safari that you did. Now to answer your allegations is that i really apologize for not communicating to you effectively that morning since i was also under pressure to find a mechanic to repair the breaking system of the Jeep since it had a leakage in the pipes and had drained the whole amount of break fluid. so i do apologize i didn't communicate effectively as i should have. 2. Regarding you giving us a 1 star review surely this is uncalled for, since we upgraded you from a van to a Jeep which really was comfortable and i could maneuver any place in the parks to make sure you have a really nice experience which deep down you know you saw the big 4 , although it was the big 5 just that you missed taking a photo of the leopard mum and cab as vehicles were zooming left right and center. 3.On the issue of you saying we left you, it's not right since i had to ask for 2 vehicles, 1 vehicle from the nearby town came and picked you up and the other vehicle left Nairobi with our driver so as they can meet on the way to facilitate your transfer back to your hotel in Nairobi on time which we inquired as it was an extra cost. To summarize it all is that safaris are always unpredicable vehicles break down and we find ourselves in such a situation like this , that's why as a company we are always have a vehicle on standby to help us mitigate such situation. On the issue of communication once again i do apologize i could have done it better. Overall i believe our company did the best it could to make sure the situation is solved since our clients are our number one priority. All the best in your future endeavors.

Stunning nature, great lodges, and the friendliest of people I've ever met anywhere
The tour guides we had (Joseph and Santa) were amazing, were incredibly
knowledgeable about the animals we saw and the landscape around us, and were
ready to answer any questions we had. Santa was especially entertaining and made
our long drives and long days full of light and laughter - thank you so much for a great
trip! I have nothing bad to say about this adventure. Thank you for a great
introduction to the magnificent and beautiful country that is Kenya, and rest be
assured, we will be coming back once we have time again.
