We have spent a very nice day. Our tour guide Susan was really kind and very informative. She gave us important information about the temples and the history of ancient egypt. Then we were free to discover the area alone for sometime. The tour was amazing overall. Thanks for everything.

        Driver with a charm!
Just wanted to share about our incredible trip to Luxor! It was seriously amazing, and a huge part of that was thanks to our awesome driver, Abd Rabbo. He was the best! Not only was he super professional and friendly, but he was also a walking encyclopedia of Luxor. He took us on some amazing detours on the way to our planned activities, telling us the coolest stories along the way. He really made the whole experience so memorable. Seriously, the guy went above and beyond. He even waited at the airport after dropping us off just to make sure we got inside safely! What a legend! Luxor itself is a must-see. One day isn't nearly enough – we wish we had more time! We also squeezed in Cairo and Alexandria, but honestly, Luxor blew them both away. It was even better than the pyramids, and I'd probably skip Alexandria next time. If you're planning a trip to Egypt, make Luxor a priority. You won't regret it!

        Wonderful Experience
We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Mrs. Salwa. She was extremely welcoming and very knowledgeable in regards to Egyptian history throughout the tour. She was very thorough in her explanations at the various sites she took us too and the view from the restaurant we ate lunch at was like something straight out of a fairytale. Overall a great day tour of Luxor and would definitely reccomend.

        Stunning temples!
The temples are stunning! And our guide Gamal made the hieroglyphics and friezes understandable and interesting. He taught us to identify God's and pharaohs and helped us understand the gorgeous Ceiling in Dendera. He told stories rather than facts and it made the temples make more sense to us. Great trip!

        Trustworthy, adaptive and extremely helpful
I had just take the option of the car and driver and Abdrabo, the appointed driver was just the right fit for my itinerary. He was punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about the area, making our journey smooth and enjoyable. He is a steady and safe driver. He also went out of his way to accommodate our requests and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and helped a ton in getting the tickets to all attractions.

        Ask for Isaac!
It is an excellent private tour. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a fantastic day in Cairo, Egypt. We learned about history, art, culture, and much more. We are well-traveled and have high standards, and we were delighted with our tour guide, Isaac and Mohammad- He was great and spoke excellent English. We stopped at several sites to purchase local items, which gave us great souvenirs. There wasn't a time when I felt I needed to provide extras. My wife and I felt safe. Overall, the tour was lovely, and I would recommend this tour. If you can, ask Isaac to be your tour guide. He's great. A++

My flight from cairo to luxor was delayed an hour due to heavy fog and i was afraid that no one will be there waiting for me at the airport. Emo tours guide and driver waited for me at the arrivals area in Luxor and i was so happy to see them. The tour in Luxor was smooth and fun. It was alot to see and experience. During my stay in Egypt, ive only booked trips with Emo tours (Alexandria, luxor, Giza/sphinx/camel ride/memphis etc). All trips have been amazing experiences and all guides/drivers were awesome.

How to make your trip great
We did a one day trip to Luxor and our guide Salwa was amazing and made our trip memorable. She went above and beyond and spent a little more than 10 hours showing us the city since we had a late flight back to Cairo. She was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had in detail. She didn’t rush us or force us to buy things. She was respectful of what we wanted to. Would highly recommend this tour and a tip - ask the tour company to give you a guide from a list of good guides based on other people’s reviews. That’s what I did and it made our trip great!

Great site and knowledgeable guide! All in all greatest tour experience so far
I had a great trip with the best team. Driver Ahmad safely managed the difficult road. The guide Ash is so knowledgeable that he knows the temple in and out, gave the necessary information, in the most interesting way. He also shared relevant link to another temples, how to identify figures, symbols and ancient gods. He answered all my questions and can immediately point out the exact figures to illustrate it! I learned so much from Ash on that day to the level that I can implement it on the next day when I was in another tour in Karnak & Luxor temple the day after with another tour company and an incompetent guide! I can figure out all things on my own with a little bit the help of Internet! We had local food that was delicious and not pretentious. If I can give 7 stars to this trip I would!

        Trip to two fantastic temples.
Travel in Egypt is an experience in itself. Roads are rubble with a strip of tarmac down the middle with 4 lanes of cars, trucks, buses, 6 year old boys on donkeys, old men on carts of 50000 bundles, pedestrians just wandering into the traffic, and stalls by the side of the road selling cabbages and cauliflowers twice as big as your head that you have to avoid. Added to this are the constant police check points, and stupidly, as i decided to sit in the front seat of the car, we got stopped everywhere...well, hay ho. Maybe im weird but i just really loved all this, so this was just such a great trip, good driver, informative guide, and two of the most amazing temples ive seen...and ive seen a LOT of temples. Just do not miss Dendera..its outstandingly beautiful, ornate and still has so much of the original colours. Its really late by Egyptian standards, from the Ptolemaic period, but it is just so overwhelming inside i actually thought i might burst into to tears, and at Abydos there were only 4 other people in the temple...just so fantastic i dont know what to say. My driver was fab, and so was the guide, though, sometimes, i cant deny, i feel with guides...are they there for me, or, am i there for them as they get a bit irritated that i want to take photos or spend more time looking at something than they think i should, or not listening properly to their spiel. Just a small gripe on what was a great trip. An experience in every way.

        Very knowledgeable guide
Salwa, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. I appreciate the sheer amount of information she shared about Egypt and while it will be a challenge to remember most of it in even a week, I feel like she provided an excellent foundation and context for Egyption history and culture. Our driver, on the other hand, while nice (though he didn't say a word to us), did not drive particularly safely or carefully which is odd considering there is barely any traffic in Luxor. Emo Tours can improve in terms of communication but at the end, it's about the guide, not the company.

Wonderful Luxor Tour with an Exceptional Guide
We recently toured Luxor with our guide, Salwa, and had an amazing experience. Traveling with a toddler can be challenging, but Salwa was incredibly patient and understanding, which made the trip so much more enjoyable for our family. Salwa’s knowledge of Luxor’s history, culture, and heritage was outstanding. She provided us with deep insights into the city’s ancient kingdoms, temples, and daily life in historical Egypt. Her storytelling made the sites like the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple come alive. What stood out the most was Salwa’s calm and accommodating approach. There was no rushing or impatience, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in each location. She ensured we had plenty of time to explore, ask questions, and take in the beauty of Luxor. We highly recommend this tour, especially with Salwa as your guide. It was a perfect blend of learning, exploring, and family-friendly travel.

Interesting show about the pharaohs in Karnak Temple. It's not a real light show. Accompanied by light and the storytellers, you walk through the entire complex to the holy lake, where there is another 20-minute story. The evening was entertaining and a great way to pass the time. What was nice was that the lighting was uniform, white, which saved the temple from kitsch. But we still see room for improvement!

Luxor is a treasure trove of history! The sunrise tour of the Temple of Karnak was a magical experience, and the tombs in the Valley of the Queens offered a glimpse into the lives of ancient royalty.
