Amazing 2-days out. Valley of the Kings / Queens and Luxor
Khalid was our guide, and he was fantastic, friendly and very knowledge. He explained in great detail the history at each site, we had plenty of time on our own to take pictures and browse at our leisure. Really recommend the 2-day guide as it gets really hot and too much to do in one day

          Excellent tour!
Our guide, Mr. Ragab Ramadan took us over the two days and the whole experience was excellent. The driver picked us up at our hotel promptly and we picked up Mr. Ramadan on the way to the Valley of Kings. Mr. Ramadan was very sociable, with a great sense of humor, and his English was very fluent. His knowledge of the history was comprehensive. He was very responsive to our wishes and needs, and in addition to the sites, we were pleased with his choices of shops. The driver did a great job and was always nearby at the appointed times. Return to the hotel was on time as promised. We have been to Luxor on previous occasions, and this was by far the best tour we have taken.

Fabulous few days with excellent guide
We really enjoyed our 3 day trip arranged by Luxor Travel. We visited the valley of the kings and other west bank sites on day 1, luxor and karnak temples on day 2 and edfu and kom ombo temples on day 3 dropping us off in Aswan. We had an excellent guide, Hassan who I would highly recommend. He explained the history behind everything we sawin an interesting and informative way and gave us excellent recommendations for which tombs to visit at the valley of the kings. He also walked with us down the avenue of the sphinx from luxor temple entering to karnak temple through the back entrance which was very special as we avoided the crowds. Hassan was interesting to soend time with and very flexible about timings. I will definitely recommend him to friends coming to Egypt

Abdul and Luxor Travels were great way to see the Westbank!
We spent the day with Abdul Ali touring the westbank Nefertari and King Tutt’s tombs Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple etc. Abdul is extremely knowledgeable and educated us on so many things (and pronunciations). Abdul has been doing this a long time and clearly loves what he does! He took great care of us and the driver too! If you find yourself in Luxor you should plan a tour with Luxor Travels and request Abdul! Thank you Abdul for a once in a lifetime experience!!

          Very mind blowing day
We had a very knowledgeable and enjoyable experience.Abdul’s knowledge during our tour was very impressive. Also he explained to us what was a good price to pay, when we got approached by person asking us to buy souvenirs and that we are under no obligation to buy . The tour was well planned out and ran smooth and it was delivered with passion and enthusiasm. Only con I have about the tour was, that we thought the tour guide would have been with us while we viewed attractions and explained whilst we walked around. But otherwise it was a lovely tour. We would recommend!! The Bakers

Sunrise balloon flight and a great tour
Had a fantastic day with Ragab which included a wonderful balloon flight at sunrise then a tour of the important sites of Luxor . He gently introduced us to the various topics without giving us a lecture. We were entertained for the whole day absorbing information without realising it. He has a great understanding of the ancient Egyptians, instantly answering any question we threw at him but keeping things on a light note. It was one of the best tours we’ve been on.

Must see valley of kings for hieroglyphics
Valley of the kings is unbelievable. Most impressive hieroglyphics. Vivid colors. Amazing tombs. In terms of seeing ancient pharaohs tombs it is extremely impressive.

          Must Do Luxor Tour!!
The sunrise hot air balloon ride with the King Tut Balloons company was phenomenal. Our guide Gabriel was very knowledgeable, courteous and funny! Definitely recommend this company if you are interested in a hot air balloon ride to get a good view of the West Bank of Luxor or if it is first experience riding one. After the hot air balloon ride we met up with our guide and Egyptologist Ragab who gave us an excellent tour of the East and West Bank in Luxor. He was very knowledgeable, answered any question we had and is also a great photographer/knows the good places to get pictures. I would definitely recommend Ragab and this tour if you are wanting to experience Luxor and its history, which was perfect for us since we were in town for a short amount of time.

Excellent and exceptional local tour company in Luxor! Don't wait! Book it now.
Luxor Travels is first rate. From the moment I booked the tour in August, Mr. Ragab was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. Appreciated his responsiveness before, during and after the tour. He conducted the tour himself and I was able to customize it based on our Nile cruise schedule. I received reminders as we approached our scheduled date, and he was quick to respond to my queries. He also made suggestions and was sure to bring us back to the boat promptly. It was wonderful to leave Queen Nefertari's tomb for the finale and wrap up our visit to Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. It was so colorful and spectacular indeed! The highlight of our day! Our driver picked us up early at the location where we were docked in Luxor. Both drivers spoke English and it was easy to communicate. I highly recommend Luxor Travels and have nothing but high praises for the staff and their team specially Mr. Ragab. Would definitely return to Egypt to experience more of the country. Thank You very much. We enjoyed and had so much fun.

          The Best, Desert Safaris
I’ve never had so much fun in all my life, as when I went out into the desert with her son and his fabulous jeep. We zipped up and down the hills and we saw sites that would take your breath away, so beautiful and so easy to go and he is so easy to reach, or you can write me a note at www.sphinxlady@yahoo.com if you want to get in touch with him he has a shop “No Hassle.” He is located in Luxor and the shop is on the West Bank. He has a beautiful four-wheel-drive jeep when he takes you out in the desert to camp out under the stars and he supplies the tents. He is an excellent driver, and an expert on the desert.

We had a fantastic tour today in Luxor with Ahmed Aziz! We highly recommend him! He is truly polite, punctual, informative and a genuine person. We got the most out of this incredible place thanks to him for knowing and explaining so much history about Luxor/Egypt, answering any types of questions such as how the egytian paint was made. The lunch was delicious, we had a great time eating typical local food! Also, Ahmed took us to a special souvenir shop where we could buy high quality work at good prices. Thank you Ahmed and Luxor Travels for making our journey so special, we’re highly recommend you to everyone visiting Egypt :)

We chose a specific option with the company of starting at 9am and getting pickup from the airport. Upon arrival we were greeted by our guide Amin and his driver Ramadan. There could not be a more seamless arrival, pick and beginning of tour. We were immediately given a great history of the site we would be visiting the Karnak temple. The temple itself was amazing and Amin is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Ancient Egyptian history. We saw Luxor temple next which was also excellent. We taken extremely well care of, getting bottles of water, Egyptian pounds in change and opportunities to get money out of ATM. With Amin we felt completely at ease and were able to enjoy the beauty of this city. The West Bank had our food stop which was tasty and you only pay for drinks and tip. We saw tombs and another huge temple in the afternoon with boats rides across the Nile in between. There was no pressure to purchase extras or see extra tombs but we would recommend to do this when you’re there. All in all a great tour and ask for Amin.

This tour is a MUST-DO for anyone! My tour guide Khalid and driver Hamed were most gracious!

Khalid is an Egyptian scholar and knows practically anything you could ever want to know about Egyptology. Even for a first-timer, he was able to explain everything in detail without making it too complicated.

This private, guided tour is worth every penny because you not only get to see famous Egyptian places, but the tour guide will give you personal perspective that you would not get in a crowded tour. Also, he left plenty of solo time after each visit to allow for some exploration and photography.

I cannot say enough good things about this tour!

Khaled delivered a great amount of Egyptian history in a completely understandable and a very interesting way! His skill of imparting his knowledge was remarkable. We were short on time but he managed it really well by cutting the distance short and traveling to the West Bank on a motor boat on River Nile. He made our time in Luxor so worthwhile. We couldn’t have possibly found a better tour guide!! Thank you Khaled! :)

While I enjoyed the sites of interest and suggest touring these sites, I cannot promote this tour company or our tour guide, Rajab. We were led to expect a sunrise balloon ride, but were picked up late so we missed the sunrise.
The other issues mostly had to do with the tour guide. Rajab explained the sites outside then he sent us inside alone to wonder through ourselves. The other tour guides accompanied their group to explain sites as people were seeing them rather than ask if we have questions after we returned from the sites.
Also, our guide told us there was nothing to see in King Tut's tomb, but his mummy is there to see. I would have been so upset if I had missed seeing that.
Honestly, we felt like the guide just didn't want to be there. He walked way ahead of us most of the time and was not personable like the other guides we had on other tours.
They also charged us $20 each more than what is stated on the website for the balloon ride.
So, see these sites, but try to get a better company and guide.

Hassan is absolutely fantastic! As a credentialized Egyptologist, he was incredibly educated and informative on he major temples and exhibits in Luxor. He has full understanding of the history and lore behind major temples such as Karnak, Luxor Temple, and Valley of the Kings. Tell him to take you the the falafel place. The sandwiches he got us were quite possibly the best falafel I’ve ever had. Super funny, helpful, and transparent in his help to tourists. He is flexible and allows changes to the itinerary with small adjustments in fees. Must book experience if you’re looking to explore Luxor!

Ashraf was such an amazing guide. There is no way you’d be disappointed on this trip. This tour was perfect for us since we took a day trip from Cairo via plane. It was so convenient to be picked up from the airport and dropped back off. We had started our day so early so it was really nice that they offered to stop at a cafe for breakfast and some coffee.

This tour included all the sights we wanted to see with add ons along the way. We were able to add a Nile boat cruise and a stop at a fruit plantation. It was an awesome treat and gave us more to do before we needed to go to the airport.

One of the best parts of this trip is that they offer an unlimited amount of cold water. It was a hot day but they somehow kept the water cold throughout the day.

We had a great time with Ayman driving all over Luxor. The drivers were on time for every piece of the tour and we got in without issue to the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Our guide even graciously offered for us to take a longer lunch break so our driver could go across the bridge and we took a boat to meet them on the west bank.

The driver was excellent and the car they drove us around in was very clean. The lunch was actually a pretty decent Arabic spread. They even offered to skip the market they wanted to take us to which was nice because I find many tours take you to places where there is nearly no interest in buying anything.

The tour operator contacted us before we arrived in Luxor for a hot air balloon ride at sunrise. It was the second ride of the day so not quite sunrise but still a good experience. I think if we had known in advance we could have specified but we were already getting up pretty early to start our day so it was fine doing the second ride. The pilot and the ground crew were experts.

It was awesome seeing the Valley of the Kings and having someone so knowledgeable with us. Our guide preferred to give us details first then let us explore as long as we wanted and even made suggestions for the tombs to visit at the Valley of the Kings. Karnak Temple was a highlight for our tour and he even asked us how much extra time we wanted to spend there after he showed us nearly everything which was a very welcome gesture.

With the balloon ride our day started at 5:30 am and we were picked up at our hotel. We met the tour guide shortly before 8 am in the east bank area, had lunch at 11:30 am and were back at our hotel for 3:30 pm. If we wanted to we could have lingered longer at a few places but we felt we got the perfect amount of time everywhere.

My wife and I did the tour of the west and east bank with Hassan Abdel Baset as our tour guide. Overall the tour was great and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in ancient Egyptian culture.

The tour began at 8 am when Hassan picked us up from our hotel with his driver. The first stop was the valley of the kings where we toured 4 tombs. This was truly incredible and it was so interesting to see the ancient writings. We paid the extra fee to see King Tut's tomb. Next Hassan took us to Alabaster factory where they showed us how the various ornaments and vases were made by hand. Before lunch we went to Temple of Queen Hatshepsut which was stunning. Lunch was at a traditional restaurant and was quite tasty. This concluded the tour of the West Bank.

After lunch we took the Ferry to the east bank where we continued our tour to Karnak temples and Luxor temple. I was not expecting this, but these two stops were my favorite of the experience. The sheer size of the temples, columns and statues was breath taking. Hassan's story telling was amazing and really made the experience worth it.

We had an amazing time, feel like we saw all the highlights of Luxor in one day. Our guide Ayman was brilliant, he was very friendly, spoke very good English and was extremely knowledgeable about the history of all the sights we saw. I asked a lot of questions and he had the answer for everything!
In one day we saw the valley of the kings (4 tombs, including Tutankhamen), Luxor temple, the temple of Hatshepsut, Karnak temple, a local alabaster factory, took a boat across the Nile and had lunch in an authentic restaurant.

Don’t forgot to bring some money with you for entrance to all of the above places and to top for any services.

Saw a lot, learned a lot and came away with a lot of knowledge, experiences and great pictures.

Overall this day trip was the highlight of our time in Luxor and we would strongly recommend to anyone visiting this city.
