I originally met Maddy 5 years ago when I came to Hurghada for the first time when he was my hotel rep. I have bonded with him straight away and have admired his passion for tourism. I was so excited to find out he is now freelance. I have come to visit Egypt again and this time I came with my family. I messaged Maddy to tell him we’re coming over and if we could book some trips with him. Even though I didn’t give him much notice, he was so helpful, giving us a full detailed itinerary of the trips he recommends suited to our group. It’s safe to say, although I’ve seen Cairo before, I have not seen Cairo the way I’ve seen it today. I loved every second of it, it was so well planned, Maddy has taken so much time and care to make this experience unforgettable and it’s for sure it’ll never be forgotten. I can promise you that he will go above and beyond to make your trip the best it possibly can be. This can be seen from his many 5 star reviews on all platforms. There was 6 adults and a 3 year old child. The whole trip was private to us. Maddy was absolutely amazing with my daughter. I was worried about the long trip with such a small child but thanks to him, I don’t even know why I was worried. She loved him, would let him carry her and hold her hand and wasn’t shy with him at all. This just shows the warm personality that this man has. All adults also now consider him an Egyptian friend. I don’t usually leave reviews but Maddy deserves all the good words coming his way. If you don’t know where/what/ or who to book with - I can only recommend Maddy Tours from the bottom of my heart. I had high expectations for Maddy as I knew he’d make the trip unforgettable but I did not think he could surpass those expectations- and he did it by miles. Egypt is a beautiful country, full of very lovely people and it deserves to be shown from its best angle. I could write a book praising this man and I hope all good things come your way. Everything you expect from a tour guide, that's Maddy. I saw that for him the most important thing is that we have the best experience and he did it...Always guiding us, informing us of everything and giving us better options for a better experience by taking us to places that were not so crowded but also important. Apart from being a guide, he is also a good photographer, photographing us at each monument, I think not everyone does that. Maddy… I have ran out of words to describe this guy since day one, we went on a holiday with friends for 12 days I can only say I expected it to be just a normal holiday. Wow this man proved me and my friends wrong, he arranged absolutely everything and had answers to all of our questions. He treated us like family and as if he had known us for a long time! I have just got back from a 12 day trip to Egypt. I went with a couple of mates from work, and had never been to Egypt before. My trip started in Hurgarda and ended in Ciaro- with 7 days in the former and the remainder in the latter. From getting of the plane and through security, we were met with our guide- we had a lot of questions, were excited, and simply we were told “boys, place everything on my shoulders” and to just sit back and relax. We had numerous trips planned through Maddy Tours- from Luxor, to quad biking in the desert, a spa day and massage, a yacht day seeing wild dolphins, Nile riverboat trios- to nights out. All the taxis and transfers were arranged for us, and it allowed us to just enjoy the very good trips and have an amazing time. Having a guide pre arrange and then assist us on getting to the trips was critical- I know for a fact I couldn’t have done half of what I was able to do without Maddy tours and I also wouldn’t have had the local knowledge to get the most out of it. This was more so the case in Cairo. I would say to get the best possible experience from Cairo Maddy tours was critical. It is an amazing but slightly crazy place that you simply must have a local guide with you to navigate the chaos and maximise your experience! We did trips to the petunias, more quad biking, nights out, ate out, shisha at local places. None of this I would have been able to do and enjoy so much without Maddy tours. Maddy tours had local knowledge on where the best places to buy specific souvenirs too- such as getting basalt rocks etc from specific vendors in Luxor- oils and ouds in Cairo, cotton goods in Cairo, the spa day in Hurgarda. Anything we needed we simply had to ask, phone data from our local sims (the at we got directly from landing of the place from Maddy Tours), where to get shisha, where we could eat local baklava. If there is any advice I would give someone looking to go to Egypt, it would be to put your trust on Maddy tours very strong and capable shoulders. Maddy took very good care of us. He is trustworthy and I recommend him for anyone’s future trip to Egypt. Made our day very special with the Red Pyramid, an Egyptian smorgasbord, shopping, and a camel ride by the Pyramids of Giza. A day we’ll always remember.

Honest, friendly and funny but also much educated guide. Only positive wibes 🙂 We visited giza pyramids and rode the Camels which was an absolute experience for life, after we went to see sphinx, and had a kind of break from the heat at old papirus factory/shop.
