You will learn to Love Cairo!
Emo Tours Egypt is a very well run organization, with customer service available all the time and very good people. They are flexible! We were able to ask for specific hours, locations and things to shop for and were accommodated without question. They have very good cars and drivers also. Our guide on our two day trips at Cairo was Mohamed Hamed. He was very professional, very friendly, and a great communicator in multiple languages. He shared great local tips, and has extensive knowledge of historical Egypt. Whether you you interested in sightseeing or learning about modern Egypt he is an excellent guide. On top of that, he went way beyond expectations to help make our trip go smoothly.

Great Tour With Essam from EMO Tours
Essam's love of Egyptian history is contagious. He explained how to identify minaret architecture from the various historical periods. Our driver was highly skilled and kept us safe on the road. The bazaar and museum were also excellent.I would highly recommend this tour!

        Old Museum and Citadel Tour
Sayed Mahmoud was our tour guide and Abdu was our driver. They were both very courteous and provided a lot of information about each location and the city in general. The tour was safe with a great lunch that was provided. Highly recommend using both of these gentlemen for your next tour. Enjoy!

        Old Cairo shopping Tour
Great visit to old Cairo. Get ready to haggle. Our guide was knowledgeable about the old buildings and architecture and asked us what articles we were interested in purchasing. Visiting the market was an experience not to be missed. We ended the visit enjoying mint tea and ambiance at El Fishawy

A good overview of Egyptian History and the main sights of the city
Visited here with our guide Adel. We first visited the museum where we spent around two hours seeing the main sights, (be aware of the additional cost to see the mummy room) this seemed quite rushed but it was a good way to see the main highlights of a giant museum. We then moved on to the Bazaar, where the simply strolled up and down a market road, with lots of hawkers selling their wares. First time I've had the line 'fridge magnet, sir?' For two people that aren't hugely interested in buying tat it was a quick visit. Then lunch in a typical fast food joint round the corner. Lastly we went to the citadel, which was the best bit of the day, where you see a different side of Cairo, up on the hill, you visit a lovely mosque and get a great view of the city. Tour wasn't really a full day, but it was enough for us, as it gets quite tiring. Adel was good and we loved learning about the five pillars of Islam at the mosque.

        How to enjoy Egypt
The market was a lot of fun if you make it that way. We talked to a lot of the vendors and joked with them. Very nice people. Keep in mind this is their living. They will try to push their goods but have fun with them. In the end if you are not happy with the deal just tell them, maybe tomorrow and walk on. The Pyramids were so great to see. I would recommend Audie for the sights only because they know the people and area. Just be sure to have a lot of small bills because everyone wants a tip. Be sure to have hand cleaner, you will use it a lot.

        Cultural highlights
Our driver and guide picked us up at our hotel. We were so glad Shaymaa Hamdi was there to help us navigate the museum. She answered all our questions and was full of information. We felt very safe and comfortable with our guide and during our tour.

        Great Day!
After being picked up in our hotel lobby right on time, we started our second day with our tour guide Bossi. After our first day with her, she was now a part of our traveling group of two couples. She again provided us everything we asked for and more! Another great day!

        An Amazing Experience!
The Khan el Kahlili market is something that has to be experienced rather than described. It was amazing, overwhelming, stimulating, fun and confusing all at the same time. What might have been an intimidating experience for first time visitors was made made fun by our awesome guide Rasha. She guided us through a winding maze of streets and shops, helped us negotiate with vendors, covered all of the highlights of the market, and got us back to our hotel safely. If you're planning your first trip to the market I highly recommend Rasha and Emo Tours!

Enjoyed the tour with our great tour guide
Just had our 14th Wedding Anniversary tour in Egypt and had our best guide so far Abd El-Wahed Eisa . If you are visiting Egypt, we highly recommend Abd El. He was our guide for 2 out of our 3 day tours and he made it very special. He was not only our guide and egyptologist but also our photographer, director, souvenir consultant, and haggler 😂. He took good care of us and made our anniversary trip very memorable.

        A better second day
I thought I couldn't have a better day after the pyramids but my second day of the tour was amazing. The collection at the Egyptian museum was absolutely mind blowing and Ehab's explanations gave context to everything I had seen the day before. The citadel followed and it was breathtaking. Again Ehab brought the structure to life when he explained the history behind it. The jaunt through the bazaar was also incredible and Ehab made sure I got a great price for some saffron and hibiscus. The food included with the tour was delicious!!!@ again highly recommend emo tours and especially Ehab!!!!

Wonderful Tour of Khan El Khalili and More!
I booked this tour with Emo Tours and had the most wonderful time. Ahmed Tonsi was my guide and he did better than Great. The tour was completely irganismzed around what I wanted to do. We started with a walking tour of Khan El Khalili Bazaar including primarily parts of the market that most tourists don’t see. Ahmed was great with the vendors and he knew in detail much about this great place. He was also invaluable in helping me get the best prices. We then went to the other side of the market and I was able to find some things for my flat that I really needed. From there we ended the tour with a walk down the famous El Moezz Street before heading back to my hotel. Ahmed was very perceptive and listened to e erything I said, making sure I got to see all the things I was interested in and more. I can not recommend both Ahmed Tonsi and this tour enough.

        Excellent!
Had a wonderful day with our guide Ola . She was very knowledgeable, was friendly and made sure that we could see the most important things in the museum, view the citadel with a better understanding and experience the ambience of the marketplace, She took pains to make sure I could have traditional Egyptian vegetarian food, and took great photos for us. Thanks, Ola, for making this an unforgettable experience.

Our guide, Amal, and driver, Mohamed, provided us a wonderful intro to Cairo’s religious history and significant sites on our first day in the country. Amal’s nearly 20 years of experience as a guide was on full display as she shared interesting tidbits of information about each site we visited, along with how some of them have even changed in the decades since she became a guide. Even though our numerous questions and photo detours added time to the tour, not once did she urge us to move on or expedite the tour. We loved our tour with Amal and Mohamed (whose exceptional and safe driving ensured we didn’t fall behind schedule) and would happily recommend their services to any future friends or family visiting Egypt.

By far the best tour i had in EGYPT. Amr was awesome and managed to give me an unforgettable experience. We did everything on my own pace and gave me all the details i wanted and answered all of my questions. Cairo is a very diverse and unique city and only with the right guide can be fully enjoyed. Please make sure you request Amr for this tour as he will make sure you get the maximum of your time.

I also had my own personal driver and was always prompt and ready for the next pickup or drop-off.

To sum up this has been an excellent experience and i would definitely recommend EMO tours and Amr more specifically for anything related to EGYPT.

Keep up the good work and thank you for creating an unforgettable experience for me

Our guide, Mina was amazing! He conveyed Christian, Muslim, Egyptian history, culture, geography, climate perspectives clearly and respectfully. He also knew all the best places for photos and how to capture the most interesting photos. Egypt is a spectacular destination and an amazing place, especially during Ramadan/Holy Week. We were able to add a third person to our tour at the last minute and he and the driver were happy to oblige.

Definitely a worthwhile tour. Can’t wait for the next one.

We booked a Full-Day Coptic Tour with lunch on the Nile, but it was a complete disaster. Our tour guide was incredibly rude, staying on his personal phone the entire time and leaving us behind as if we were locals. Although the tour was advertised to last 6-8 hours, we cut it short after just one hour because we didn’t feel safe or cared for.

What made things worse was that the guide asked me to use my credit card to cover entry fees, saying he’d reimburse me in Egyptian pounds. We paid $340 for this tour—the least he could do was handle things professionally. If negative 5 stars were possible, that’s what I would give.

Very complete tour to visit the Citadella and several mosques.
      Good organisation.
Our guide (Nura) was very nice, especially with our 7 year old daughter (this tour may not be recommended for very young children). Thank you very much!
She is well prepared and she gave us good explanations in the different stages of the visits. She also gave us nice pictures.
The lunch and the restaurant with buffet was also very good.
The only downside was that we had booked a tour in French and the agency finally offered us a guide in English. We advise you to confirm the language of the tour before paying for it.
Our guide (Nura) was very kind, patient and made sure we understood the different explanations. In the end, everything went well with the English tour.
      Thank you very much!

The tour covered what was promised, they were punctual and our guide Mustafa made an effort to ensure that we had a good time, with a guide in Spanish (which is not easy) and he took beautiful photos of us. They included stops at stores that we liked in the tour but the description doesn't say so. Although it is the standard and gives you a moment to refresh yourself, it is a surprise that we did not count on. We asked to go to a few different ones (like a cotton store) and it was worth it.

Our tour guide was Ola, and she was one of the best tour guides I've come across. I took other tour guides in Egypt, and she by far excelled in her customer service, thoughtfulness, and care to make sure we had a fun and enjoyable experience. We learned a lot about Islamic history, had ample time to enjoy each of the places, was helpful in taking pictures of us without us needing to ask her, and knew alot about the diverse religions that exist in the country. As practicing muslims and as a first time tourist in Egypt, she gave us a very customized and authentic experience. I would highly recommend her and this tour group.

Our full-day excursion deserves its name. In between, there was time for a coffee shop. Our guide Gabriel showed and explained everything to us in his unique way. We were very lucky to be able to spend the day with him that will remain with us for a long time. He shared his great knowledge with us, always giving us time to take pictures, which is also required with the mix of churches and mosques, hard to imagine how the day could have been better. Thanks also to the driver, with whom we always had a safe feeling in the traffic in Cairo, which took a lot of getting used to.

Me and my parents had a great time touring old Cairo. Just walking through old Cairo wouldn't have made any sense without a guide, since you would not be provided with any information. Our Guide Mahmoud el Wakeen was very well educated and he explained everything in detail. He was very concerned about our well being and he made sure to give us some time to make wonderful pictures!!!
      Thank you Mahmoud!!!

Our guide was very informative. We were not rushed and took our time to visit each of the stops with a very in depth explanation of what we were seeing. The lunch was not that exciting, but it was nice to have something to eat and drink after a long day of touring and walking.
