- chrsh20240 contributionsGreat day at DMZ and the Suspension BridgeHad an excellent private tour led by Shane, visiting the DMZ and Suspension Bridge. He also found us a vegetarian option for lunch! Highly recommend Shane for this tour, he’s knowledgable, professional, and provided so much insight and history about the specific DMZ area and South Korea in general.Written 30 October 2024
- BBCHakkaMui0 contributionsSeoraksan trip during end of October 2024Benny was a great guide, he picked us up from our hotel at 7:30am and we had a 20min break at the service station before arriving at Seoraksan National Park. It did take over 3 hours due to traffic, but it was a comfortable journey. We went to see the nearby buddhist temple, then had bibimbap for lunch before going on the cable car. Afterwards, we headed into Sokcho and visited the fish market which my mum loved. Lastly we climbed some stairs to an obsevation deck and finished with a sunset view at a pavillion. Benny dropped us off to our accommodation at Sokcho. A very long day and all slowly paced for my mum which I appreciated. Thank you!Written 30 October 2024
- 118philipk0 contributionsWell worth the effortIncredibly popular and beautiful hike in the fall with the change in the foliage. Jimmy our guide kept a good pace and was great with photos at strategic vantages. We had a great time and highly recommend taking this.Written 25 October 2024
- kjrg0 contributionsGreat DMZ and Odusan Unification Tower tourOn a rainy day we took this tour. Jimmy was our driver, guide and chef. He picked us up and dropped us off near our hotel (because hotel was located on a very narrow street). We visited the tour info center, the 3rd tunnel (seemed a bit rushed), observatory, and several other locations at the DMZ. We were not allowed on the outside observation deck because the week before North Korea was shooting at the south. We stopped for the included lunch and Jimmy cooked our beef bulgogi stew. It was delicious! Because of the rain we did not visit our planned stop at the suspension bridge. We did not want to go to the N Tower because visibility was so bad. Instead Jimmy suggested we visit the Odusan Unification Tower. Because it was mostly inside we visited displays and a great view from the larger auditorium. When the rain let up we did go outside to take in the views.Written 24 October 2024

- francoise8380 contributionsVisit of Hahoe Village, great experienceVery interesting (and long) day trip from Seoul. Benny Kim was our driver and guide for the day and he was great. Full of explanations and facts about Korea in general and about Hahoe village in particular, as well as extremely caring and diligent. It was a real pleasure & chance to have him!Written 21 October 2024

- Pauline C0 contributionsA must excursion for avid hikers visiting SeoulKim was a very personable guide on our hike yesterday! He let us go at our own pace and the views were definitely spectacular. Highly recommended for those who seek a little adventure in Seoul and for avid hikers. Also recommend wearing proper hiking attire (hiking gloves) and bringing trekking poles as this may make the hike a little easier.Written 26 September 2024
- Rhona S0 contributionsPacked day in Seoul away from the crowdsAmazing day which included hotel pick up, hike up a mountain to see a Buddhist temple, local lunch and spa. The guide was punctual, friendly and considerate. You should bring plenty of water for the walk and toiletries for the spa. I should have brought clean clothes to change into after the body scrub. I was glad I had researched the spa so I knew what to do once I was inside. Easy to recommend this trip. Thank you.Written 23 September 2024
- Meander6270660 contributionsExcellentFirstly we would like to thank our very experienced, professional and friendly Tour Guide, Andy, who was super informative and knowledgeable about the country and all the places we visited. The tour well exceeded our expectations. DMZ was very interesting and well organised. We learned so much about the history and situation between North and South Korea. The suspension bridge above the beautiful forest is extremely scenic. Despite being a little scared of heights I managed it because it is very well built and actually not too high. I highly recommend this Tour, we had a great day out ! THANK YOU!!!!Written 4 September 2024
- Frau_Blucherrr0 contributionsA five star experience from the start to the end!A great experience, even if the weather was hot. I recommend good hiking shoes and lots of water. Our guide Jimmy was the perfect host. Helpful and friendly, made our trip unforgettable. We got great views, fantastic Korean food and an unbelievable experience at the Korean sauna. I recommend you do get the scrub: it costs a small extra (25.000/30.000 won), but it is worth every penny. You will never have smoother skin.Written 19 August 2024

The trail to Daecheongbong Peak in Seoraksan National Park is one of Korea's finest, an absolute must visit if you have two days away from Seoul. Nestled here, and within sight, is also the Dinosaur Ridge, one of Korea's best kept secret mountain getaways for the enthusiastic hiker. On a clear day, North Korea's mountain landscape sets a scene too. Kim is an avid Korean mountaineer in heart and mind and his stories, as he guides you, will resonate perfectly with the backdrop of the Baekdu Daegan range. This is one trek you would not want to miss.
