    What to Expect
Meet your tour guide at the Berikaoba sculpture in central Tbilisi and set out to discover Georgian cuisine. Wander through the historic streets as your guide provides an engaging narrative about the city's landmarks and culinary traditions of toast-making and slow cooking.

First, stop at one of the city’s favorite gastronomic stores. Uncover the secrets of Georgian food as you unearth an eclectic assortment of spices, cheese, and other goods with far-reaching Middle Eastern and Persian influences.

Then, follow your guide through the backstreets of Tbilisi's Old Town. Absorb the atmosphere of this historic district as you head for a popular local restaurant to sample delicacies such as Khinkali and vegetable Pkhali accompanied by local wine or Chacha, a Georgian-style brandy.

Finally, visit a tea shop and museum to learn about Tbilisi tea traditions and the city’s importance along the Silk Road trade routes and experience a tea ceremony.

Your tour concludes at the tea shop, where your guide will be happy to provide suggestions to continue your Georgian culinary adventure.
