Meeting point at our office on 49th street, downtown Yangon. After selecting your bike and helmet and a short safety briefing, cycling for 10 minutes, past famous Sule pagoda to Pansodan jetty. The ferry ride to Dala takes around 10 minutes, then the exploration of Dala starts! Along creeks full of boats, monasteries, temples, lotus ponds and local neighbourhoods we reach the famous Aung Zayar wet market where you get an introduction to burmese specialities such as Ngapi paste and Thanaka. Back on the bikes and afer a quick stop at the great Chu Chu social enterprise - a well-deserved break witrh snacks and cold drinks at a local teashop is waiting for you, also clean sanitary facilities available.
On local boats we cross over to the river island, almost car-free, where we explore villages in the rice fields, peaceful countryside and life along the river, before a last boat brings us back to the bustling harboutr of Yangon with its traders and workers, from where it's a last 15 minutes back to the office, where refreshments are waiting for the finishers!
