My family and I just returned from an amazing trip to Israel, the highlights of which were our three separate full day tours with Levi: (i) Jerusalem; (ii) Sea of Galilee; and (iii) Dead Sea/Masada/Qumran. Levi picked us up from our hotel promptly each day in his new, comfortable SUV, and catered to our every want and need in a professional and friendly manner through each of the very long, often hot, days. Levi arranged a wonderful and comprehensive tour for our family that hit all of the key locations, and was extremely thoughtful and helpful to us every step of the way. To say that Levi had knowledge of the history, politics, economics, religions, culture, and demographics, and nearly every factual detail concerning, every location we visited -- and passed by in the car -- would be an understatement. Levi had a deep understanding of EVERYTHING we asked about -- from the basic to the arcane. Levi could speak articulately and in great detail and depth on every topic, and do so in multiple languages. He is fluent in English, and has a tremendous intellect, wit and sense of humor that kept us entertained throughout. He also takes great pictures, and seems to know everyone at all the top tour locations (which can very helpful) -- and if he didn't know them, by the time we left a location, he was friends with them all. He is far and above the most experienced, professional, knowledgeable, humorous, jovial, and energetic tour guide we have ever had ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD (and we travel a lot). We highly recommend booking any tours with Levi in Israel, and we cannot give him higher praise. He is a true professional and great human being.

I found Levi and this tour on Tripadvisor, and before making reservations I contacted Levi regarding what the tour entailed. I facetimed with him and I knew this tour was going to be incredible because Levi was genuine and knowledgeable. When I met Levi I instantly liked him because it was evident he had a passion for what he does and his way of explaining the history of Jerusalem and Israel was fascinating. What I learned from this tour has led to a continued introspection of the history of Israel and Jerusalem, and I'm grateful to have visited Israel. This tour was outstanding and I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Israel, thank you Levi!

This was a wonderful tour with a fabulous tour guide, Levi Zelkind. He gave us a fabulous tour of Bethlehem and Jerusalem. He knows his history and Bible so well and we were very impressed with him and his knowledge. He also knows a lot of people and several shortcuts to get us in and out quickly so we can see more of the Holy Land. We liked him so much we came back and ordered his book, “Amazing Israel” from Amazon. you cannot go wrong booking any tour from Levi Zelkind‘s tours.

I am sitting here on the airplane waiting to depart Israel as I write this review, thinking of all that I witnessed in the last 7 days in Israel and the holy land. My family and I spent 5 full days with Levi, exploring biblical and ancient sites throughout the country. We visited places like Jerusalem, Jericho, Carpenaum, Nazareth, Bethlehem, Masada, Dead Sea, Jordan River and even crossed the border to Jordan to visit Petra. I cannot express enough how much of an amazing experience we had, Levi is well known all throughout Israel and everywhere we went we were welcomed and treated like part of his family. From the first moment when he picked us up in a very comfortable luxury car, we felt at ease and the history lessons began. Levi explained everything to us, from modern day politics to ancient and biblical history, telling us extensive stories of all the landmarks we visited. I was immediately in awe and captivated by all the history, myths and biblical stories of the holy land that are so unique and unlike any others in the world. The man might as well have a masters degree in Judaen history, I don't know how he holds all that information in his head and even knows alot of history about other countries as well. I ended up purchasing two of the books he wrote about the holy land and Israel history as I was so fascinated. As the family slept comfortably in the back of car while we drove from place to place, Levi and I spent hours discussing history, I love to ask questions and he loves to explain. I came to Israel with a very shallow understanding of the holy land and ended up leaving with a head full of knowledge. If you are trying to decide who to book your tour with, I hope this review will settle that decision. He is well connected throughout the country and we were able to access insider perks and were treated like locals everywhere we went. I am so glad we booked with him, thank you Levi!!!

We first went to Haifa, then had lunch at Cesaerea and then walked the ruins. Levi was an amazing tour guide. He is a true historian! We not only learned so much about the sites but also about the towns and Isreal itself. My husband and I travel all over the world and have experienced many guides, Isreal included. He is truly one of the best if not the best. Highly recommend!

If you’re planning a trip to Israel, stop wasting your time researching tours and guides and hire Levi!! My father, sister and I traveled to Israel July 2023 with the intention of seeing as much of the country as possible, and Levi made our adventure to the Golan Heights the highlight of our trip! He crafted the perfect tour, catering to all of our interests and energy levels! From Jerusalem to the Golan Heights and back to Tel Aviv, Levi’s infectious energy and humor kept us entertained all day. (His “dad jokes” provided plenty of belly laughs, as well as his humble use of his “superior” camera 🤣🤣. He seamlessly blended fun anecdotes with historical facts, making the journey feel like an adventurous day with a fascinating and fun friend! Levi’s knowledge of Israel is unparalleled; he’s even written two books on its history and landmarks. (I recommend reading his book “Amazing Israel” as part of your trip prep!! ). Levi is knowledge is beyond compare. I would recommend him to anyone visiting such Holy places. He was able to navigate weeks of sites into our tight schedule! You could not find a better guide!

We had a great private tour with Levi. He was very friendly and gave us so much insight in the culture and life of Israel along with the historical facts of the sites we visited. He was very accommodating and mindful of our autistic teenage daughter to make sure she was comfortable. Would definitely recommend this private tour - much more comfortable than the larger tours. Worth paying for :)
