Bethlehem Jericho Qumran Dead Sea Day Tour from Jerusalem
From US$ 89.00
Overview
Visit four of Israel’s ancient sites on a full-day tour from Jerusalem to Bethlehem, Jericho, Qumran, and the Dead Sea. Explore Biblical history and the site where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered (optional), then visit a private beach on the Dead Sea to enjoy hyper-saline water and mineral-rich mud. This tour includes transport from Jerusalem in an air-conditioned minivan.
What to Expect
Make your way to a central location in Jerusalem for 7:30am departure to Bethlehem, the historic birthplace of Jesus. Stop for a guided tour of the city—starting early means that you’ll get to visit the main sites before the busiest times of day—and see the Church of the Nativity, a UNESCO-listed church originally commissioned by Constantine the Great.

Continue to Jericho, the lowest city on Earth, and take a guided tour of the city and the Mount of Temptation, the traditional site of Jesus' temptation in the Book of Matthew. From Jericho drive to Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered between 1946 and 1956. The visit to the Dead Sea scrolls site is optional and at your own expense, and you’ll also have free time to buy lunch onsite.

The final stop of the day is at a private beach by the Dead Sea: try floating in the super-dense water, cover yourself in therapeutic mud, and enjoy the desert sunshine by the shore. After your time on the beach, make the return trip to Jerusalem, where this tour concludes at 4:30pm.

Not as advertised! Chose a different company!

The tour was poorly coordinated from the start. We left almost 45 minutes late. The bus is old, dirty and stained. After our visit to the Shepards field (first stop in Bethlehem), instead of going directly to the Church of the Nativity, they took us...More

The tour would be amazing if it was organized more professionally

The coach is not well maintained, The local guide/driver are not professional guides. Too much time was spent on the souvenir factory and didn't have much time to visit the Church of Nativity - one of the highlight of the tour. Lastly, the “private” beach...More
