- Go019510560500 contributionsGreat City, lot of history and a great guide!Uzbekistan was a very nice surprise and the tour that we’ve booked with this company was extraordinary. The local guide in Tashkent was on time and very friendly. When we’ve arrived in Samarkand by train, the guide over there was waiting for us and the tour started. We had a great tour with lots of infos about the history and culture in Uzbekistan. I fully recommend them!!!!Written 17 February 2025

Arranged everything from my hotel to SKD & back. So much to see that I’d love to stay longer another time, but if all you have is a day this is perfect.Written 31 January 2025
- ELIZABETH M0 contributionsGreat day in SamarkandThis was a wonderful excursion. I was met at my hotel and taken to the station where the driver escorted me to my train carriage. The train was punctual and quick and I was met at the station in Samarkand. My guide, Mokhigul, was incredibly knowledgeable and told me so much about the history and culture of Uzbekistan. The mosques and mausoleums we visited in Samarkand are stunningly beautiful. Lunch was a delicious plov in a local restaurant. At the end of the day I was taken back to the station and met at the other end in Tashkent. I would highly recommend this trip.Written 25 January 2025

Tashkent is a beautiful historical city that full of cultures. I really wish to spend more time here if I can. Food is amazing, the city infrastructure is convenient for tourist to move around for sightseeing. Our tour guide - Lucky is kind and experienced. Her sharing about the city history and Islamic cultures open my eyes to have better understanding about the country development before and after Soviet Union period. I am sure that I will be back again someday to continue my journey in Central Asia.

We booked this as a group tour....and it ended up being just our group of 2 and our amazing driver/guide Abror. We learnt so much from him as we travelled from one interesting place to another, Ensemble Hazrati Imam, Minor Mosque, Earthquake Memorial, Monument of Courage, Independence Square, Amir Temur Square and Museum, which was much better than many reviews report, definitely worth a visit. Chorsu Bazaar was a good opportunity to mix with the locals and learn about Uzbek gold, foods and customs. We went to the Plov Centre to try the traditional cuisine, worth doing, but not one that we'd go back for! The whole day was interesting and enjoyable because of our amazing guide, thank you!

Our guide was absolutely lovely. He adjusted the trip according to our needs. He also helped us finding some vegetarian food. 😅 he showed us around the city and told us the history and his personal experiences of the city. We were able to see all the famous sightseeing places in Tashkent in one day. Definitely recommend this tour. :)

It’s a very good way to cover the main attractions of Tashkent and to get a good general view of the city and it’s history. It’s mostly focused on soviet and post-soviet times (because a large part was destroyed in the earthquake), but the Amit Timur museum is great and has a specialized guide for it. Lucky was a great guide and even helped me with securing tickets for further travel!

I strongly recommend this tour! It is a very good choice for tourists who want to see many things on the same day. It also has a very good value for the money. Taskent is a big city, so it is very difficult to move between tourist spots without a car. The guide (Daniel) drove us to all the places, he gave us detailed information and he spoke very good English.

My first visit to Uzbekistan. Tashkent as a city is fascinating and made more so because of the wonderful and knowledgeable guide who called herself Lucky. Loved the visit to the market and the Plov restaurant. The Emir Timur museum was a highlight.

Shoutout to Ibrahim and Ali for making my first trip to Tashkent very memorable! It all started off with Ali picking me up from the airport and was very welcoming and offered me an opportunity to check out the city. He really catered to my needs and set me up with his buddy, Ibrahim, who was amazing!
Ibrahim is a very nice gentleman who really made sure I was having a good time and I really appreciate how he shared his culture throughout the tour. He takes good care of you and explains things very well. He has great energy and you will be lucky to have him as a tour guide. Not to mention bro has amazing picture skills!

I highly recommend this tour. We got around through a combination of taxi, metro, and walking, and covered more ground in several hours than would have been possible on one's own. In addition to seeing the sites, you have lunch at the Plov Center; watching the plov being prepared in giant cauldron is a sight to behold. But the best part of the day was the guide Ibrahim. He is an exceptional young man: sincere, knowledgeable, helpful, and ready to engage in conversation about anything. I came away from the day with much learned and more to contemplate. Highly recommended!!
