      A highly enjoyable experience, overall
Because public transportation in Ulaanbaatar is limited to a few bus lines and taxis are not clearly marked, you really need a private driver to take you around the city to see the major sites. My driver was very friendly and was happy to accommodate whatever requests I had. One museum was unexpectedly closed so we spent more time in the market, which was fine by me. I prefer the market anyway. The only criticism I have is of the newly constructed Chinggis Khaan Museum, which is a beautiful, multi-million-dollar structure housing many artifacts and artworks on multiple floors. It never occurred to the curator of the museum to add English-language explanations of any of the exhibits. Everything is written in Mongolian Cyrillic and the traditional Mongolian script, making it inaccessible to European and North American tourists. Why the curator did this was never made clear, but since the museum will probably be visited by mostly tourists, so the tourism industry needs to rethink how they will make the Chinggis Khaan Museum more accessible to foreign tourists —but this is more a criticism of the museum and not a criticism of the tour guide. I enjoyed the tour, overall.

      Good 1/2-Day Trip
The tour stopped at a nice variety of sites. Most famous being the statue of Genghis Khan, which was the highlight. Our guide was friendly, spoke in English well, which was a plus, and was a great driver (knowing how to get us around the traffic). The food served at the restaurant was very good. One of the best culinary experiences I had in Mongolia. However, the part about the tour offering the history of Mongolia was a little misleading. There were bits and pieces, but nothing comprehensive. Some comments about the history lacked context. Overall, not a bad tour by any means.

      A Must-See Tour
I recently took a city tour with my friends in Ulaanbaatar and loved it! We visited historical sites like Gandan Monastery and Bogd Khan Palace, enjoyed stunning views from Zaisan Hill, shopped at Narantuul Market, and learned about the Mongol Empire at the Chinggis Khaan Museum. It was a perfect introduction to the city's culture and history. Highly recommend!

I made a Reservation online the night before.
We had a smooth rendezvous via email and a schedule.
The tour was as flexible as a private tour with only these two people with Reservations.
At the museum attached to the Genghis Khan statue, where we stopped, we also had an easy-to-understand Guide. Lunch was interesting, such as salty milk tea. They also took time to experience horseback riding.
Thanks to Mr. Namsrai, who was in charge, it was a fulfilling sightseeing experience.

The scenery on the road and in the park was amazing!!! It is always brilliant to relax in such beautiful nature after working days :) The arrangement was reasonable, the day was full, and many attractions were viewed without becoming tired. The steel Chinggis Khaan Statue was very stunning and the view from the top of the statue was excellent. The horseriding across the hills and bush was chilled and tranquil. The tour guide Belgudei was very professional and friendly, spoke very fluent English, caring and drives very well :D Highly recommended!

I want to give a huge shout-out to my guide, Namsrai. Without him, I wouldn’t have enjoyed the tour nearly as much. Throughout the day, a lot of unexpected things happened that prevented me from participating in some activities I was really looking forward to, like river crossing, forest horse riding, and having lunch with locals in a ger. Despite these challenges, Namsrai did everything he could to make sure I enjoyed the trip. While the tour had its difficulties, Namsrai’s dedication and effort truly made it a 5-star experience. Plus, his extensive experience living abroad means he speaks English really well, which made communication easy and enjoyable. If you’re planning a trip, I highly recommend asking for Namsrai as your guide!

Great guide! I love the landscape of Mongolia, the guide would stop the car and let me takes as much pictures as I want.
However ... The horse riding part came a bit short for the first time, basically just 1 round around the village. Then I told the guide about it, he did makes things right, the groom went for the second time through the woods.

My tour guide's name is Bat. He is the best! He shared a lot of insightful facts about Mongolia's history and culture. He went beyond, gave me plenty of opportunities to take photos and I also got to try the Mongolian milk tea and dumplings. It was yummy! I would give him more than five stars for all the efforts and memorable experiences.

Also the horse riding was so nice and fun. The good thing about doing this activity during winter time is that you can enjoy the places all to yourself.

First of all, the driver and tour guide are very kind. When driving, they pay special attention to potholes in the ground and will not speed up to overtake. This is a big advantage in Mongolia, where the traffic is chaotic. The tour guide spoke very good English and knew the history of Mongolia quite well. Then after arriving at Teleji Park, the whole horse riding experience was perfect, and the traditional Mongolian food on the way was also quite good. In addition, the scenery in the national park is unimaginable, very beautiful and stunning. Overall, it was an experience worth remembering and revisiting!

We thought it was a group, but when we went on the day, it was apparently a private tour, with no one else around! The Guide was also the driver and told us a lot about Mongolia, so we had a great time along the way. I heard lunch was easy but firm. We had plenty of time to ride, so we were very happy. Recommendation for those interested in horseback riding or those who like small group tours.

This was a fantastic day-trip from Ulaanbaatar. The guide met us on time in the hotel lobby and he spoke excellent English. The first part of the trip was very bumpy due to road construction, but then it got better. We did a quick stop at the impressive Genghis Khan statue, but the main event was the horseback riding in Terelj National Park. We enjoy a full three hours with the horses in magnificent nature, and then we were served lunch by the horse owner’s wife, in a traditional ger. So enjoyable, so well organised, so beautiful. Highly recommended!

Today we had the privilege of our Horseback Riding Tour - our guide was Eric. The day began with a 9 am collection from out hotel - The Kempinski. We headed off to visit the statue of Ghengis Khan, all through this journey Eric provided an excellent narrative of the Mongolian history throughout the ages. We were very impressed with his knowledge & ability to answer our never ending questions- we had visited the National Mongolian Museum yesterday which was invaluable as it gave us an insight into the rulings, military power & nomadic lifestyle.
We then travelled to The Terej National Park - met our host & his wife, we were invited into their home & for lunch we had the most wonderful bowl of meat dumpling soup, milk tea & rose tea for me. This was a wonderful experience, their genuine hospitality & warmth was most heartwarming.
Our horses for the day were so perfect, calm, strong & patient - it had been a number of years since my husband & I rode a horse! We had 3 hours of forest trekking, breathtaking views of the mountains around us with crisp snow underfoot.
Eric & our wonderful driver continued to offer a first class service by taking us to local shops as I was on a mission to find “thick socks ” to take home. This had not been on our tour schedule!
To summarise our day - it was fabulous! I would & will be recommending this tour to all of those seeking a truly amazing experience
