I recently returned from an incredible 8-day trip to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan with Ventura Tours Central Asia. I was really impressed by the great service, knowledge, and care they put into every detail. This tour company is truly top-notch. From the start, when I was planning the trip with Ash, to the very end, they went above and beyond what I expected. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, especially Abdi and our skilled driver Bakha (Babyface) in Kyrgyzstan. They made the rich history, lively culture, and stunning scenery come alive. Ash created a perfect itinerary for my trip, showcasing the best parts of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, from the beautiful Registan in Samarkand to the peaceful, breathtaking Lake Issyk-Kul. I also enjoyed tasty local food, stayed in comfortable accommodations, and had smooth travel arrangements throughout my journey. Some of the most memorable parts of the tour included a thrilling horseback ride up the mountains in Chon Kemin Valley, where I enjoyed breathtaking views. I also saw incredible eagle hunting and participated in archery at an Ak Sai village, and had a surprise picnic at a wild beach.

I am trip planner and I curated a Central Asia trip with 10 friends from September-October 2024. Central Asia is not well known to most people so I was fortunate to find Ventura Tours to help us navigate this part of the globe. They took care of us from Almaty, Kazakhstan to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to Tashkent Uzbekistan as well as Samarkand and Bukhara. They made it easy for us and introduced as to a world that was new to us. The guides we had in each place were all very good specially Ameera in Samarkand who just got her Ph.D. She was exceptional. So too was Princess, our guide in Bukhara. Our guide in Almaty, Damir, was excellent. The special Kazakh dinner prepared by his mom Mrs Raushan was memorable. We saw how hospitable and friendly the Kazakhs are. Central Asia should be on one’s bucket list. Great destination and specially when you hook up with a tour operator to make it easy for you. Ventura Tours was my one-stop shop for Central Asia. We were in good hands with them. They were flexible, reasonable and very easy to work with. Talk to Ash or Nuriza. They will help you.

We had a great tour that Ash put together for us in Uzbekistan. The guides we had in Samarqand and Bukhara were really knowledgeable and brought the places to light. I would especially like to thank the guide in Bukhara, whose extremely wide knowledge of religion and history made not only what we saw make sense, but also explained many of the wider aspects of the history of the place. All aspects were very smooth, our driver was great and the hotels Ash Booked were of good quality. This follows in from a great trip made last year to Kyrgyzstan. Many thanks Ash.

Ash, (the founder) was super responsive and clear in his communications prior to me even booking anything. Our guide, Bek is helpful, warm and easy to hang out - an important point given we basically spent all our awake hours together in 3 days. Our 4wd vehicle was comfortable given we had to navigate off road terrain and our driver Baha was a pro. Quiet but proficient behind the wheel. His driving is smooth and vehicle super comfy. Staying at Golden Yurt and Zaton guesthouse was a great way to experience the country and its people. Note that these are not standard hotels eg yurt has outdoor toilet. Bring a sense of adventure and you won’t regret it. Our guide Bek ordered all of meals and it was the best. Everything was tasty. Our favourite part was staying at Jeti Oguz in a yurt and the horse riding. There’s nothing like hearing the sound of the river to sleep and seeing a night sky filled with stars. The people we have encountered along the way were all warm and friendly and just left an indelible mark on our hearts.

Travelled with begimai. Needless to talk about beautiful scenery of Kyrgyzstan, Begi made my tour full of energy with happiness:)

Thanks to Begimai, my days in Kyrgyzstan was stunning. All the places I visited were excellent and the itinerary was quite flexible so that we could enjoy what we exactly wanted to. One day if I have another chance to visit Kyrgyzstan, I will definitely find Ventura again, and explore western side of Kyrgyzstan. Loved it so much!

Excellent guide that accomplished more than we could have hoped for. We saw so many sights we had to modify or plans the next day avoid overlap. Lots of walking but it was indeed worthwhile.

We had an excellent private tour with Boca who spoke excellent English. He was highly informative and we managed to fit in quite a lot in the 3 hours thanks to the fact that the car was always ready to go. We did the tour on our first day in Bishkek and it served as a very useful introduction to the city.

Great tour! Tour guide Boka is fantastic and very knowledgeable, spoke great English. This is a nice walking tour and intro to the city. You will see the main sights and learn a bit about the history.

Beautiful sites and an affable, well-informed team. Even the drive to the sites generated “write-home-about” views. I was operating on a tight timeframe, so I had only one day to tour the country; this was a perfect fit for me.

We had an amazing trip - As it was still “off season” in April some tourist places to stay/eat were closed but our guide and driver took excellent care of us and made everything work out. Also the people in the support office team were fantastic making sure we were comfortable. The scenery is out of this world - if you’ve always wondered about going to this country just go :) you won’t be disappointed

No regrets booking this tour with Ventura Tours! I went on a private 8-day tour with Boca as guide and Sasha as driver! Highlights of my trip: 1. The tour itinerary was very well planned out. Not too many long drives, but still got to see the must see of Kyrgyzstan! The views were absolutely breathtaking. I’ve never seen a more beautiful country. 2.
