- mosquito130 contributionsGreat Driver in Well Maintained Lexus. Speaks good EnglushActually used twice. First from airport to hotel. Very accommodating. I missed a connecting flight in Seoul . So after 38 hours of flights and airport it was easy to be greeted with a sign with my name. Immediately driver took over handling my five cases of tools and motorcycle parts( HEAVY). Handled carring into hotel also. Good English. Was impressed so made arrangement for he to drive me cross county to coastal town Kampot from Phnom Pehn . Safe driver in a well maintained Lexus.Written 13 January 2025

- 828gowris0 contributionsExcellent experience of cab booking through Viator. Very good cab service and English speaking ,decent driver.I had booked cab for morning pick up from Phnom Penh airport to my hotel through Viator....But then, as I missed the connecting flight , I got the next flight from Kuala Lumpur at 4.40..hence reaching here in the evening. I requested for a reschedule hardly 3 hours prior for pick up. They agreed and sent the cab accordingly. That was really sweet of them. The driver too was very good and could converse in English..Written 13 December 2024
- gabbs24070 contributionsMemorable cruise CambodiaWe went with Memorable cruise Cambodia We had a lovely time on this cruise with the friendly welcoming staff, unlimited beer and soft drinks and a very pretty boat. Unfortunately there was no sunset due to the clouds, however we did get to experience the city lights and learn about the Vietnamese who live in houses on stilts along the river bed and the fishing families who live in smaller fisherman boats. We would definitely recommend this boat trip.Written 8 November 2024

- Nataliecarter1bt0 contributionsFantastic serviceWe had 4 bookings with Mr Huots company on our recent trip to Cambodia, in Phnom Penh, to sihanoukville and Kep. We had a different driver for each journey and all of them were fantastic; the cars were comfortable and clean and the drivers were on time, friendly and most importantly safe. There are a lot of crazy drivers in Cambodia but we felt safe at all times with Mr Huot's team. Mr Huot is easy to communicate with and speaks great English. We thoroughly recommend this service. Thank so much to each driver.Written 29 February 2024

This was an excellent and very informative tour.
The subject matter is pretty sensitive in nature. There is a lot of information that is difficult to hear and see. Our tour guide Wasil was excellent at not only showing and telling us all about what happened during the KR regime, but did so and made us feel comfortable while doing so.
This is a very important part of Cambodia's history and I believe that the tour guide did an excellent job to not only open our eyes to this country's brutal past, but also was open and very happy to talk about the daily lives of Cambodian citizens and how things are now.
I highly recommend booking this tour

We were picked up on time at our hotel, communication was good before and during the trip. We did the afternoon visit at 1.30pm but felt a little rushed around the killing fields to get to the S21 museum before rush hour.
The killing fields is pretty harrowing as you would expect, lots of evidence of the burial mounds and even bits of rags still coming to the surface with corrotion and rain. The exhibition is sobering. We did actually feel it may be better to have gone alone and took the audio tour at our own pace but that is just a personal thing and no reflection of the tour company. The s21 museum was very interesting and even a survivor of the prison in attendance selling his book. Felt a little commercialised being ushered to see him before he left for the day. Saying that, I think it is a must when in Phnom Penh. Can't remember the name of our guide but he was very good.

The experience was incredible from start to finish, even though it was very harrowing.
Started at the school/S-21/Genocide Museum which took my breath away. The suffering of the Cambodian is astounding and no surprise the country is poor as it basically had to start again from 1980.
The tour started at our hotel pickup at 08.15 intended as a group tour for $25 per person. It actually ended up being a private tour as no one booked! Han's knowledge is incredible and being born in 1970 he grew up in the middle of it all, it brought everything to life and gave a personal touch with 1st person knowledge. We also met 3 of the only 6 survivors who knew about the prison, everyone else was executed or is now dead which was very humbling.
We ended up at the killing fields which is about 30 minute drive away but well worth it. Be prepared it's very emotional, and Han really brings it to life. Attending in the rainy season made it ever so real with the rain every year washing the soil away and bringing the bones to the surface where you can see all around you and where you walk so be careful.
Please book this tour, you will not regret this.

This is a must see tour to see first hand and learn about the atrocities that the Cambodian people were subjected to. Unimaginable pain torture and suffering at the hands of the Khmer Rouge. Ron our guide was INCREDIBLE. He and his family were subjected to this time and hearing his story as he recounted history was heartbreaking. Everyone should take this tour in the hope of understanding the past and working to prevent this again in the future. It is a time of history that has to be told so it is not forgotten by the world. From the beginning to the end of the tour we hung on to every word and memory. It was amazing to also meet some of the few people who survived prison. Now we’ll into their 80’s it was an honor. Outstanding, emotional and educational. DO NOT miss this tour. Thank you Ron for sharing your life with us.

This is a superb tour. As someone mentioned at the time our guide Visal (sorry for spelling) was the best tour guide she had ever had. He deals with a difficult subject very well with lots of facts and detail including human stories, never shying away from the harrowing truth.
Slight delay in pick up but i was called to let me know. Small group taken by comfortable minivan and given adequate time to see everything. I often prefer to see things at my own pace but i would strongly advise taking this good value tour.

A really interesting and eye opening tour of some really important sites in Cambodias sad history. Ran our tour guide was amazing! Incredibly informative and we learnt a lot from him. His personal story is incredibly moving and hearing his own experience really made everything sink in. Would really recommend taking this tour as he is a fantastic and passionate guide and we learnt information that was truly unique to his knowledge and experience.

We started off our trip with this tour and it was very depressing (as we expected it to be). But it’s also so important to remember it. Hard to say much more about the sights themselves: their very nature speak for themselves. In regards to this particular tour, it was great. Pick-up/drop-off from out hotel; knowledgeable, English-speaking guide. We had to pay for our tickets to enter both locations on arrival so bring extra money for that, but they did tell us this was the case ahead of time. 10/10 would recommend.

We visited S21 first and then the killing fields. We felt this was great to give background and perspective. Our guide (Iran?) was so informative and respectful. Such a tough subject to discuss and he kept the pace interesting with stories from his own memories and that of the time. It really added a personal human touch.
We knew this was going to be an emotional day. We had time to stop and reflect if we needed. I didn’t always look at all the pictures of people as it made it so real.
We got to meet 2 survivors onsite and were able to purchase their books.
We traveled in air conditioned comfort and safety. Pick up and drop off from our hotel and plenty of ice cold water.
Clean modern toilets at both locations.
Highly recommend a professional company like this to experience this sensitive historical area.

The quality of our guide made this tour very special. He explained his personal experiences during the 1975 to79 regime, and really brought this really horrible period of Cambodian history to life. I highly recommend taking this tour rather than going by tuk tuk or taxi and using the audio guides you can pick up at the 2 museums.

Great but somber tour. Really recommend going. It's weird to say "I had such a good time" viewing things which are very depressive but it really is eye opening to see what we keep doing in history, and this one not too long ago.
People should be speaking about this a lot more and paying attention to the warning signs as it happens again and again in history.
