          Wonderful introduction to Yerevan
We had a wonderful time walking around Yerevan with Arto and learning about the history of Armenia and its capital. Most of our group landed in Yerevan early in the morning so the 9am-12pm tour was a great way to stay awake, walk around, and avoid the high heat of the afternoon sun. Arto was an amazing guide, answering whatever questions we had and accommodating in organizing the tour route based on our group’s interests and the potential influence of jetlag ;). Nearing the end of our tour, we sat down with Arto at a cafe and chatted over refreshments. We highly recommend booking this walking tour of Yerevan if you are looking for an introduction to the city and the hospitality of the Armenian people.

          Amazing time with Arto
Arto's tour of Yerevan was a unique dive into the city's Soviet-era history, enhanced by the charm of traveling in a vintage car. This experience felt like stepping back in time, thanks to Arto's deep knowledge and passion for Yerevan's past. His ability to unveil hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path spots provided us with an authentic glimpse into the city's rich history. The retro car not only added to the nostalgia but also made our exploration of Yerevan unforgettable. Arto's engaging storytelling and personal touches transformed our day into a memorable journey through time. For those interested in experiencing Yerevan's history in a unique and immersive way, Arto's tour is a perfect choice. His warmth and expertise make it a must-do for visitors seeking to connect with the city on a deeper level. Thank you, Arto, for making our trip to Armenia so special. We can't wait to come back and discover more with you.

          Yerevan by Volga
We had a wonderful time in this very comfortable Volga with Arthur and Arto, very dedicated driver and guide. Plenty of photo opportunities of course but also very interesting stories from Yerevan in soviet times.

          Didn't want it to end
This is a cool tour of yerevan with a cool host and cool driver. I was picked up right on time in my hotel and immediately felt so comfortable with the guide and driver. The driver, arturo, was kind enough to let me drive the volga! We went to the mother armenia statue, had some cognac with orange slices, drove to an abandoned park, past the American university and cascades. My only negative was I wanted to spend all day with the two of them. Recommendation, if you book this tour, book it for the day. Awesome hosts and super cool car! Highly reocmmend.

Authentic unique experience run by two cool individuals
I have travelled to 80+ countries and this is one of the best experiences ever. This unique sort of thing we can find only here in Armenia. It is super authentic and very personalised for you individually (not like those other generic touristic activities these days). Arto and Arthur are running the tour - they are two charismatic people complementing each other superbly. If you don’t like scripted tours, they are always thinking outside the box and never check their watch on when the tour is going to be over. I won’t spoil all the surprises for you - just highly recommend this experience and if you have any questions just message me

          A Walk to Remember
Our guide Arto gave us a warm-hearted welcome to Armenia and led us on a wondrous journey through Yerevan, from the local bazaar to the magnificent historical monuments that express the rich heritage of this beautiful country. Not only were we introduced to the bustling streets of this living metropolis, we also experienced a mind walk that awakened us to the many cultural treasures of Armenia.. Thank you, Arto, for a walk to remember!

          Perfect city tour with photographs
I had opted for photography tour. Arto is very good host and took us to all prime locations of Yerevan. He was flexible with route and time. As it was photography tour, we came back to hotel to change our dress and moved along to other part of the city. There is a scope to improve the quality of photos or need to go with some better camera.

          Amazing Tour
The tour was lovely. The guide was super friendly and well knowledgable. He knew exactly where to take us. Above all that, and aside the pub crawl, he took us through all the nice landmarks within Yerevan. Never ceased to surprise us. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Chance to get the local experience and vibe
The tour was excellent. You get the chance not only to get through a wide variety of local drinks but also to go to underground and non touristic places you wouldn't otherwise see, some of them not even known by locals. The itinerary adapts very quickly to the participant's profile - you feel like on a private tour designed for you. Thanks for the enlightening experience!

It was one of the best private tour experiences in my life so far. Sitting in the back of the old car emotionally brought be back in time to when I was a kid. Both the driver and the tour guide shared some interesting stories about the city, country and culture. Cognac shots with apples for a snack were a very good addition to the “emotional cocktail”. By the end of the tour, we’ve arranged a full day trip for the next day to Khor Virap and Lake Sevan for a very reasonable price. The full day tour was even more amazing: got a chance to drive Volga, take some great pictures and even swim in the Sevan Lake followed by a car picnic on the way back. Recommend 100% for those who like experiences mixes with good emotions.

An amazing tour around Yerevan, with a few hidden gems. The old vintage car was beautiful and very comfortable. Our driver and guide were so friendly, informative and genuine. It felt like being shown around Yerevan by close friends living in the city.

We visited the Mother Armenia statue, where we had a small toast with delicious cognac and a few slices of apple. Our guide also gave us a few lessons in flying his drone to capture footage of the statue and the beautiful view over the city. We then went to an abandoned soviet-era railway engine that was once used as a playground for kids. We also stopped at site of some of the famous cognac distilleries and took in some beautiful views of Mt Ararat.

Our guides were also very accommodating and flexible when we had to change our tour time to an earlier time. Many thanks!!!

I would highly recommend this tour. It's informative, relaxing, and a great way to spend an afternoon in Yerevan,

We arrived late into Yerevan but still managed to fit in a fantastic late night drive around the city. Harout and Alina were great, knowledgeable and enthusiastic hosts proudly explaining the history and culture of their city. Despite it being freezing cold and actually snowing we were able to drive around with the top down and very much enjoyed the local brandy they offered us! And also the waves and comments from local passersby! The car can only fit 3 people in the back, so Harout has organised a second car - a 70s Lada for the rest of our group, which was also a fun experience. He also thoughtfully provided some local snacks for us knowing that we would be coming straight from the airport. Totally recommended!

This is a unique experience and so much fun. The car is gorgeous, the city at night is beautiful and lively, the views from Mother Armenia over the city are spectacular. Add to this the smiling driver, local music, warming vodka and Arto's entertaining and informative company PLUS his role as your photographer, and you will feel like a celebrity on a night out. An introduction to Yerevan not to be missed!

Really brilliant way to travel round Yerevan, even if the car was a Volga 21 from the 60s, which had no link to Joe at all. Not for the fainthearted, however, as the car has no seat belts, roads are busy and potholed, and the trip involved some serious hill starts🤣🤣. Buuut...what a blast. Travelled down 'under the bridge' to see the steam train kids were taught to drive, loved the statue of mother Armenia, and it was just really cool driving around in this car. I've been in 50s cars in Cuba, but, I have to admit, I never thought I was going to die in any of them, 🫣😎and, omg, the espresso martini, served up on the bonnet was so welcome. a really great fun trip, which is worth every penny. what larks😊
