Halong bay day trip, good to visit one day
If we have more time, we will choose 3 days in Halong bay. However, we have short time, Halong bay day trip is only one choice this time. I chose luxury option and all services arranged smoothly. Limousine transports, nice boat, delicious food, etc Halong bay is so beautiful in the sunny day, we will comebac and visit Halong and Cat Ba in the next time.

Amazing experience and we survived the Hanoi traffic!
A tour that has to be done. Our guide was late so the HCMN flag rising had already started. If you are a slow cyclist you wouldn't have made it in time. Such an amazing experience in the Hanoi traffic but our guide did go off a bit too far ahead a few times. Loved the places we cycled to. A must DO

    Review of BEAR park ONLY
This is a well thought out corner of the Kuang Si falls park. There are a number of rescued bears that would have wound up in Chinese cages getting milked for their bile. This is a torture industry for fallacious Chinese ‘medicine’ that needs to be stopped point blank. I fully commend the owners for displaying a cage that a bear would spend its life in, encouraging you to crawl inside and see what it would feel like yourself. They pull no punches about what the bears go through so it is wonderful to see them, out in their sanctuary, relaxing and playing happily and most importantly SAFELY. There are good displays teaching you about the animals but again I would recommend more information be put up for Chinese tourists. Good gift shop and I am proudly wearing my FREE THE BEARS t shirt now. Excellent, and keep up the great work.

    Don't do it
This was the worst 12 hours of my life! Don't do it. The expected two hours drive via the expressway took 4 hours. Spent 5 hours on the water instead of 6. Cave tour consisted of walking heel to heel with one very long line of people with one way in and one way out. No escaping! 'Bamboo boats' were oversized fibreglass replicas and the kayaking part did not happen. The so called beach was a small roped off polluted area. The toilet floor was covered in water and toilet tissue was wet from falling on the filthy floor.Smokers enjoyed the freedom of tossing their grotty cigarette butts into the water. Never out of sight of high rise buildings and power towers on this day trip. Don't do it.

Wendy was amazing and very knowledgable. My only problem with this tour is the boat trip at an hour and a half is a bit long but all in all great tour and would definately recommend.

A Unique Experience for the Early Birds!
Le Xuan (Sam) was an excellent tour guide! He ensured I was safe, gave a good overview of the history of some of the sights we visited, and was very personable! It was also wonderful to get to know him on a personal level. Below are a few things one should take note of about the tour: 1. Expect to wake up early ... it's a morning bike tour after all! I was picked up at 5:30AM, but I went in knowing the start time. 2. You're going to sweat especially if you're nervous about having to bike through traffic on a narrow street when Hanoi starts to get busy (unless you don't sweat :) ) 3. There will be light traffic during the early hours, which making cycling through the city a unique experience. You'll be able to witness how the Vietnamese people get their exercise on during the early hours. 4. You'll stop a few times along the way to take in some of the sights, and Sam will likely snap a few shots of you. 5. You will get to experience the side of Hanoi that most people don't especially when Sam takes you to where some of the locals live.

Amazing Ninh Binh Experience with Amazing Sails
It was a fun and exciting tour we had to Ninh Binh to tick our bucket list of places to visit in Vietnam. The transportation (limousine service) was very comfortable with reclining seats and free wifi. The local family who hosted our tea and lunch showed warmth in welcoming us in their home. They served a good assortment of healthy and delicious home-cooked Vietnamese food. Our tourguide, Bui Cam Phong was very articulate, knowledgeable and helpful.

    A good day outing
We had a good trip. The weather was hot. The guide was very good. The food excellent. The boats are not like the one pictured. Overall an experience to do if you haven’t done it before.

    It was amazing!
My tour guide, Sam, was knowledgeable and friendly. Also he kept a good place and I never felt rushed. His family has several charity projects in Hanoi and he took me to areas I never would have seen on a regular tour. I was the only one on my tour, and that can be awkward, but Sam made it A very comfortable experience. We were able to customize it just for me - he took me to thenoodle place Obama and Bourdain wento and a beautiful Pagoda I wanted to see. I was so impressed that I signed up for a second tour the next day and will probably comeback to volunteer with his family's organization. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

    Amazing Food Tour!
Anh led a fantastic vegetarian food tour for my husband and myself. We both rode with the guides on the backs of their motorbikes and got a cultural tour as well as a food tour. Both guides were knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We zipped all over the city to try fried noodles, egg coffee, vegetarian bahn mi and more. We were so full afterwards! I highly recommend this tour, it was one of the highlights of our trip!

    Highly recommended!
Seeing Hanoi waking up was a great experience! The guide Sam (Luong) was not rushing and giving enough time and info to wonder, understand and enjoy. I definitely got a better feeling about how people live in Vietnam (from morning sports over spiritual routines and, of course, food). Cycling was also a nice way to explore: much easier to move with the flow than trying to find a path as pedestrian (although it doesn't hurt if you have some cycling routine because the traffic will need all your attention). I also liked that the company supports community projects. The only thing that could be improved is to mention the rough pick-up time already in the tour description (05:30am!) and then inform participants one day in advance of the exact pick-up time. I had already spent some time in Hanoi and was looking for a tour that would give me a new perspective. Thanks to Sam, mission accomplished! Highly recommended!

Fantastic day tour to Ninh Binh
Our tour was booked via a travel agent and we could be anymore happier. Our guide Alex was full of knowledge and very professional at all times, our driver was very safe, respectful and professional as well. Lunch was delicious and so much food, bike ride was amazing and the boat ride was relaxing. Our only negative would be the sales people coming back in the boat, very pushy and wanted us to buy the lady rowing the boat drink and food which we did then the lady rowing asked for a tip. We don’t hesitate tipping where necessary and actually gave the lady money and she asked for more money. Totally recommend this company and day trip but stick to your guns when tipping in Vietnam.

    Beautiful Hideaway in the Mountains
I worked with BC Family tours to plan out a 2 day, 1 night trip to Pu Luong. A shuttle bus picked me up from my hostel in Hanoi around 8 am then it was a 3-4 hour drive to Pu Luong. We stopped 3 times - once for a bathroom/snack break, once to see ‘local cooking’ on the side of a road that did have a nice view, and once to drop off other passengers in Mai Chao (another tour option). They usually book roundtrip from Hanoi, but I requested to be dropped off in Ninh Binh, which they accommodated for just a few dollars extra. My lodging was Pu Luong Eco Garden. While I’d requested and paid for a mixed dormitory, expecting some bunk beds in a shared space, I was pleased to see that I had been upgraded to a private room with a queen-sized bed. The resort had a nice infinity pool and all meals (not beverages) were included in the package. There was more than enough to eat in the set meals and the food was pretty good. There were 3-5 hours of activities each day while the rest was spent eating, free time (read: sitting at the pool), or traveling. My guide's English wasn't extensive, but we were able to communicate through Google translate on his phone which worked out alright. He was super knowledgable and pointed out all sorts of plants and cultural facts as we trekked. I was the only person on the excursions without having requested a private tour. This worked out well for me, but if you’d rather be around people or aren’t okay with quiet, then I’d check with the booking agent ahead of time. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience - staff with the booking company and tour itself were helpful and friendly throughout. If I was more familiar with Pu Luong before booking, I probably would have stayed for longer.
