I booked this tour on the Viator app just a couple of hours before it started and it turned out to be the highlight of my trip to Ho Chi Minh City. As a solo traveler on a business trip with only two days to explore, I wanted to experience the street food but had no idea where to begin. I also wanted to experience the city on a scooter without having to brave the traffic myself. My guide Vincent Nguyen arrived early at my hotel. From the very beginning he was warm, professional and incredibly friendly. His excellent English made the experience so much more enjoyable as he was able to provide fascinating insights into the food, culture and the history of Vietnam. Vincent took me to eating establishments across the city and we visited the flower market, places I would never have found on my own. He explained every dish in detail taking care to accommodate my dietary requirements. Each stop felt authentic and the food was absolutely delicious. Vincent also engaged in conversations that made this tour truly special. We talked about Vietnamese history, daily life in Vietnam and how it compares to Europe. By the end of the evening I felt more like a friend than a client. If you're visiting Ho Chi Minh City, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough and if you're lucky enough to have Vincent as your guide you're in for an unforgettable evening. If I ever return, I will absolutely book with him again. Thank you, Vincent, for such a memorable night!

We did the food tour last night in a jeep! Very fun and our guide Chris was very helpful with our baby. Tasted some amazing food that we wouldn’t normally go to highly recommend!

Hannah our tour guide was at the hotel Des Arts as promised at 07.30. Our driver Jonhy took us to the Cu Chi tunnels, on the way there Hannah told us very well and in detail about Vietnam and why the tunnels were built. She also told us about previous wars that Vietnam had been involved in. Then on to the Mekong Delta during the trip there we got all the information we needed to understand everything about the delta. Hannah did a very good job and our driver drove calmly and safely. We had the best time on this tour, it was a holiday highlight for our family, travelling with 2 teenage kids. Hannah, Phuong, Dao and Truc were great guides, taking the time to explain the foods and also getting to know us- they thought of everything, even raincoats to keep us dry. My daughter doesn’t like seafood, they were more than accommodating to make sure she had another option. Highly recommended this tour, a must do when in HCM city.

We had the pleasure of doing a food tour on bikes with AN tours last night . This is our 2nd visit to Saigon and our 4th tour with AN tours . The tour guides have become Friends . This company is easy to deal with. They have excellent communication, always turn up when they say they will and treat you like royalty for the whole tour . All tour guides we have had have been exceptional. I need to do a special shout out to An whom we toured with last night for the 3rd time at our request . He and Vy were absolute standouts ! An put alot of research into where to take us and explained all about the food and how to eat it as he knew we wanted to try tradition Saigon foods we had not yet tried . I cannot recommend AN tours highly enough . You will not be disappointed if you use them . We will definitely tour again with them when we return to Saigon

We had a private tour for the 4 of us. I recommend this tour as they organise everything for you, we had Halsey as our private tour guide who speaks English well. After pick up from our hotel we traveled to a rice paper village and had a go at making rice paper, also stopping at a handicap craft village to learn how they make some beautiful artwork made with eggshells and mother of pearl. Halsey provided us with lots of knowledge about Vietnam’s history and the cu chi tunnels. We had a great day.

Kay was excellent. He was friendly and a pleasant conversational partner. Aside from being knowledgeable about food, he engaged we in talks about family, hobbies, and other aspects of life.

My daughter and I had a fantastic night with Hannah & Kaylin. Everything was easy as they picked us up from the hotel, showed us how to ride on the back of the scooters and took us around. They were very friendly and it was lots of fun. The food was delicious and we learned a lot. We loved chatting to them about life in Vietnam.

We got the fancy limo and it was new and the seats even massaged you. The sights were great, tour guide Tippy was so fun, nice and a wealth of knowledge. Very good price wise, reliable and prompt in organising.

The team were so friendly, welcoming knowledgeable and the food was sensational. They also helped with many questions of the best places to go and best things to do even days after the tour. We had so much fun, highly recommended.

"An absolutely impressive place. It was extremely interesting to see the different traps and have their origins explained. Our guide Halsey was very knowledgeable and was able to illustrate a lot. We learnt so much about how these tunnels were used during war time. I can’t recommend this tour enough! I learned so much, it was a fantastic experience!

My husband, myself and our 10 year old daughter did the evening food tour by scooter with Win, Vincent and Phuong. What a great experience. The food was delicious and they took us to some places we never knew about. Being on the back of a scooter in HCMC can be overwhelming but they navigate the streets safely. The guides were so knowledgeable and we loved leaning about Vietnamese food from them. Highly recommend this as part of the beginning of your trip to Vietnam.
