I was in Hanoi for Business and had two half days free so decided I should see more of Hanoi then just the hotel. The concierge recommended I take this half day city tour, I am so glad I followed his recommendation, the first tour was an afternoon and I learnt a lot about Hanoi and visited some great places. My guide Anna (Thuy Lan) was just great and explained everything very clearly in perfect English, So much so I booked a second morning tour with Anna, so we could go into the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, and visit the Presidential Palace, both amazing places to visit. I highly recommend this tour and especially Anna who has a great knowledge of Hanoi, who also takes great pictures.

My husband and I are traveling in Vietnam for four weeks but we know that it will be hard to beat our half-day Hanoi tour with Lan-our private guide. The tour was for us to decide and with Lan's expert advice we couldn't have had a better experience. We visited Museum of Ethnology and Temple of Literature both of which were enhanced by Lan's vast knowledge. The sites were wonderful, but Lan went out of her way to give my husband and I a Hanoi experience of egg coffee as well as recommending restaurants for traditional foods. Lan even phoned ahead to make a reservation and organize a set menu for us to enjoy. Lan was willing to maintain contact and provide us with suggestions for our remaining weeks in her wonderful country. I highly recommend her for your travel needs.

Lan came with me from Hanoi to pu luang and then onto nin Binh. She was extremely accommodating, friendly and caring. She changed many things around for me to suit my interests without never complaining. She was a wonderful guide whom I would thoroughly recommend!

The driver and tour guide were fantastic, and as it was a private tour not only did we learn a lot about the area, but also got to know a bit about daily life in vietnam, with our guide more than happy to answer any questions we had. The lunch was amazing, and the tour guide even showed us a nice little cafe near the temples which we enjoyed greatly. My only tip would be to bring a cushion for the boat ride - those seats are hard!
