    Nice tour! Beautiful bay don’t bother upgrading since everything is the same but the size of the cabin and we did not have a panoramic view since there was a fence blocking it

    Ha long bay expetience
    This is definitely the highlight of our trip. From booking to the staff and crew it was seamless and amazing. We booked the VIP package, they pick us up our hotel and dropped us off. The staff at the Aqua of the Seas are amazing, funny and they just genuinely want you to have fun and relax. Our room was a suite. The food was amazing. Our driver who pick us and drop us off both ways is kind and nice. We will definitely do this cruise again for a longer stay. Our expectation was over exceeded. Highly recommended. Next time, we are bringing our friends!

    If you come to Hanoi, you must visit Halong Bay This itinerary has a shuttle bus to and from Hanoi and Halong Bay The travel agent makes sure you get on the bus You will use the restroom and take a short break at the rest stop.     Wonderful cruise
    Would definitely recommend Bai Tu Bay cruise with Cong as our tour guide. He is amazing, so friendly and fabulous with the children. Bai Tu Bay is not as busy as Ha Long Bay which is wonderful because you don't have a million boats around you at night. Activities include kayak, swimming, tai chi, caves and squid fishing.

    Fantastic Ha Long Bay cruise tour.
    We had a great time on this Ha Long Bay Aquamarine cruise. The scenery was marvelous and boat cruise was friendly and helpful. We plan to return next year!

    Fantastic experience! I am so glad my group chose this tour company given the short time we had in Vietnam. Best things about this tour: 1) super prompt and organized 2) rooms were clean and spacious, we even had our balcony 3) staff was super attentive to our needs especially when my son wasn’t feeling well/ they brought him crackers and provided anything we asked for 4)excursion to the sea cave was amazing, we learned about the sea cave 5) food was delicious, lots of variety 6) the top deck was so nice- great view and scenery 7) cooking class offered was very fun 8) Han our captain was nothing but professional and kind 9) the last buffet had a very yummy chicken broth 10) lots of drink variety including fresh juice, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages

    WOW!!! This is a must do tour to Halong Bay. The tour was truly amazing and well organized! Experience:We had so much fun with the excursions. The tour to the sea cave was breathtaking!Our tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable. The bamboo boat ride was very nice and relaxing and a great way to end the cruise. Food: We were welcomed with a variety of yummy food. The main dinner was my favorite. It was beautifully presented with lots of fresh seafood and noodles. Everything was very tasty. They made sure we didn’t starve on the cruise. Rooms: The rooms were very spacious and had a nice balcony to sit and relax in. The shower had great water pressure and were reasonably sized. Overall: Amazing!!! We did the 5++ Everyone must book this experience!!! You pay for what you get-Quality!

    Best seller is true and amazing time!
    Everyone!!! Please book this group, they were on time and professional. One of the best trait is point blank and direct! No extra free, whenever I landed, he text me, my transportation is here. Very responsive and he found us all the great activities. Ha Long Bay is beautiful, a must do in Hanoi . I like hiking to the top and enjoy all the great scenery. My favorite was the meals on Athena. The crew, the staff was on point. Ha and Hannah , strong English speakers and they organized everything from breakfast, activities and dinner. Good humor. Again, highly recommend and book them and you will save the trouble of doing solo research!

We had a 2 nights and 3 days trip around Ha Long, and we had an interesting experience from the boo king moment.

They approached us via WhatsApp with too much information to digest, plus the timing the message as were delivered was making the entire interpretation a bit confusing, although it was a copy/paste of standard boat cruise, transfer etc. I strongly recommend moving to email communication for this amount of information.

They offered us the option to choose between 2 cruises, which we did ( again, all via WhatsApp). We choose the “Boutique cruise”, and standard transfer, just to be onboarded on a totally different cruiser when we arrived (and it was the same for the other passengers we talked too). We boarded “Le Journey” and the cabin was different than expected (the wardrobe door was not closing, the curtain was missing hooks, small things, but still ok). The organizers should have communicated the changes to the passengers! I did not like the fact I paid this amount and had not definite information where and how we will be sleeping. Nevertheless, we made the best of it, since we were there for the experience not for the cruiser. Just FYI for ones reading this :)

The 4* transfer from the old quarter of Hanoi and back, had the (new) cruiser logo and it was definitely not like in the pictures :D it was just a normal old-school bus.

The people were super friendly and helpful, starting with “Jerry” (that’s how he recommended himself) on the pickup and 1 day on the cruiser, he was very nice and informative. Veeeery good in keeping people on the schedule, that was quite tight in the mornings. Thumbs up 👍🏻 for Jerry 😊

Note here: a small flier with the schedule and the planning would help a lot the guests follow-up. Like this we are purely depending on memory and on our tour guide to remind us all the time what’s planned for each hour of the day. So printing a small flier for the guests will definitely help them understand better what’s next 😄

The cruise staff, was always available to accommodate the guests demands. In the group they had a couple of special dietary requirements during the trip and, for example, the vegetarians had prepared a separate menu etc. The food was very good, never had problems withy he menu.

Now to the main attractions, everything was AMAZING 🤩. Ha Long is worth seeing it now before it turns into a super touristic destination like Thailand. The activities were a bit packed during the mornings, and we were transported by small boat to the day cruise for the 2nd day for the Cat Bat island or to kayaking and sunset view point. It was a very nice experience! Definitely recommend it!

I think 2 nights were just perfect, because the 1st day we did the most touristy activities while the 2nd day (we had a smaller, 5 people group remaking on the boat, separating us from the 1night/2days groups) they dropped us to the day cruise from Ti Top to Cat Ba island. We really enjoyed that day :) Allowed us to slow down a bit.
While the last day was a half day, and we saw in the morning the caves, before drop off to the hotel.

Overall, we loved Halong 😍 I am just leaving this review to help setup the expectations and for the organizer to improve the communication and service.

With this company you have to manage your expectations. Communication is not their strong suit. We booked a three day, two night trip that did not include many of the activities we had discussed with the booking agent, including cycling on Cat Ba or touring the floating village. They said this was due to the Tet holiday and complications with COVID 19, but we had booked well in advance and that could have been communicated to us much sooner. In fact, during the trip we even double checked with our first guide who assured us we would be cycling on Cat Ba Island the next day (the guides change out every day for the 3-day trips). Our new guide was initially surprised to learn we didn’t do our Day 2 activities as planned. They transferred us on Day 2 to a random boat with a random guide and a random group of people. The guide took us for a short hike and then on a short kayaking journey - and then to a swimming spot (no kayaking, like they said on the booking itinerary). We were then sitting on the boat for over 3 hours because our main cruise boat was stuck in the harbor. Day 3 ended up being mostly a repeat of what we did on Day 1.

While the Tet disruptions were out of the tour operator’s control, they never mentioned the changes, even as we reconfirmed a couple of days before and at the start of the trip. We asked for a partial refund since this day was the main reason we went with this operation and they said no, which also seemed unfair.

In retrospect we would have booked a different tour with a different company - one that focuses more on activities and actually does what it says it will do. The guides and crew were very nice, and it’s a beautiful place, so we don’t regret going, but we are disappointed with how little we got to do.

A lovely boat and a packed itinerary.

Well worth the trip. The boat is clean, and reasonably quiet. The set menu for lunch and dinner was great, beautifully presented and way more food than we needed.

I would recommend spending the extra night, so you get to do the kayaking around Lan Ha bay. It was really the highlight for us, so much cleaner and more tranquil than the previous days kayaking spot, and included some gorgeous secluded beaches and caves. And if you are brave enough, you can jump off the 7 metre high roof of the boat into the turquoise sea!

We were so lucky that all the people on the 2 nights were wonderful. We met so many lovely people.

Ethereal cruise brilliant experience - LAN Ha Bay
My husband and I just completed a three day two night cruise on the Sapphire booked through Halong Bay Cruise Hunters. This is a longer cruise which takes to you to LAN Ha bay, a lesser visited area and far fewer boats. The beauty of the environment is spectacular. Take the extra time and go on the longer LAN Hay Bay Cruise. You kayak through karats, swim in pristine waters, visit a remote village on Cat Ba island by cycle or electric bus. The boat itself is lovely, the food delicious and plenty and carried. And the staff are welcoming and kind. The tau chi class at sunrise is a welcome addition as is the welcoming daily happy hour on the top deck. This cruise was definitely the highlight of our trip to Vietnam .

Had fun, but not great.

Overall it was pretty good, however the photos aren’t representative of the actual space. The room was tiny and the double bed was actually two single beds jammed together which wasn’t great. The itinerary listed isn’t what we actually did and some of the activities were missed altogether. The boat is kind of run down pretty basic. The food was really good and staff were excellent. But overall, it was a really expensive experience which didn’t match the photos or the description.

Great Experience

Everything went smoothly and I was amazed at the organization of the crew. My five friends and I were picked up timely from our hotel and rode a somewhat comfortable bus out to the bay. Our rooms on the boat were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food was solid and they did a great job of accommodating for my vegetarian and picky friends. Halong Bay is a bit cold and always foggy this time of year (february) but you benefit by not dealing with crowds and the sights are still pretty amazing. Don’t expect to go swimming unless you are immune to cold water. My only wish was that there were some other young people on the boat as my group of friends is all 21 and basically everyone was over 40.

Great times on boats
Really the best way to see Ha Long Bay and the lesser known/quieter Lan Ha bay and Cat Ba island. The 2 night itinerary is packed with activities and meals set against one of the best backdrops in the world. Well worth it.

Great cruise: on the Elite of the Seas and Great Travel Agent.

The 3D/2N cruise in the Elite of the Seas was worth it as recommended by Halong Bay Cruise Hunters. This gives you more time to enjoy Halong Bay and the inclusive activities in the cruise. We did enjoy our trip to Cat Bah island, we biked and went to a Vietnamese Village.

We are happy with the service of Elite of the Seas, the friendly staff took care of us from the managers down to the wait and housekeeping. The yacht and the rooms are modern and clean. The food was good and plentiful, they will feed you well. Thanks to Harry the Manager, Nar the Customer Service guy and out waitress or butler Hannah. You made our trip comfortable and memorable.

Thanks to Halong Bay Cruise Hunters for recommending the Elite of the Seas and for the complete cruise information,transfer arrangements and the multiple update notifications about our trip.

Amazing stay on the Sapphire Cruise
As many of you know, there are so many cruise choices to pick from. We can honestly say we have no regrets over Sapphire cruise, booked through Halong Bay cruise hunters. Upon arrival to the ship we were warmly greeted by staff, who made every effort for it to be as relaxed for us as possible. My wife and I decided to stay for 2 nights, and we are glad that we did. The itinerary was perfect, it was full of great activities and provided enough time in between for relaxing etc. The food was amazing, the waiting staff were very polite and patient and we thought the pricing for drinks were reasonable. I had specific food requirements and staff made sure I ate to those requirements. We highly recommend Sapphire Cruise.

Great staff, beautiful Ha Long bay overall ok cruise

Booked a 3d/2n cruise on this ship. We loved Ha Long Bay and had a great time. The staff was excellent and the food was good. Activities were fun and we all had a good time. However, for the price I thought the condition of the boat was just ok. Priced as luxury cruise but boat was so-so. Our friends went on a brand new boat in Ha Long Bay that looked way more luxurious and was roughly the same price we paid on this boat.
