The Sanctuary of Truth Museum is the world’s largest and most beautiful woodcarving structure. In addition to an opportunity to study arts and philosophy of goodness, the museum also features contemporary architecture, created in the reign of King Rama IX. The beauty and value of the arts at the Sanctuary of Truth Museum will make you feel something paradoxical but they are harmonious. What to expect: • The visitors will get to learn how the grand castle has been built by ancient wood-joining techniques you can’t see elsewhere in the world - Tongue and groove (wedge) techniques, butt joint, dovetails, sapped spurs, etc, which are all traditional Thai intellectual properties. • Once-in-a-lifetime experience to participate in the construction of the miraculous national & world heritage. • Optional add-on activities to offer: (could only choose one/all of the options) - ATV - Horse Carriage - Sightseeing by Speedboat - Sightseeing by Ancient boat with free coconut - Or you could choose all the options have to offer! Inside The Sanctuary of Truth: • The rooftop stands a 4-faced Brahma which symbolizes the rulers’ great morals. • The Throne at the center of the castle. Each section the rooftops carry moral meanings for humanities you could discover: - The Eastern rooftop (E) features a beauty queen carrying the scriptures. - The Northern rooftop (N) features a fairy carrying a lotus. - The Western rooftop (W) features a beauty queen carrying ears of paddy and a pigeon hold an arm. - The Southern rooftop (S) features a fairy holding an arm of a child and an old man. - The central apex features a fairy riding on a horse.

    Very happy with our tour
The tour guide Donna was wonderful, and the river cruise with a lunch buffet exceeded our expectations. The bus was air conditioned and we were given plenty of water. Lots of opportunities for photos.

    Step back in time
An informative and moving experience. Seeing where and how the railway was built really bought home what life was like for the POWs. A small group so we had plenty of time at each attraction. Our guide Oom explained well how the day was set out. I enjoyed being on the train and would have liked more time or even a trip back on it, as it was wonderful travelling through the fields and countryside rather than the busy roads. Great for history buffs but also those wanting a cultural side to their Thai holiday.

Hands down the best guided trip I had in Bangkok
Very friendly and knowledgeable guide, Johnny had such a chill vibe. I learned a lot about Thailand and Thai history from his narration.

Perfect trip to see Ayutthaya in 7 hours.
Perfect trip. Right duration. Good guide. Very comfortable. No rush. Not tiring at all. The boat trip was lovely. Highly recommend this trip if you have only half a day to spare for Ayuthaya. We left at 1.30pm & returned at 8.30pm. So still had time to roam around Bangkok after that.

    A pleasant tour
It was such a nice tour. Our guide Johnny was smiley and fun, kept a positive attitude and was informative. Explained the basics of Thai culture, taught us some Thai words, told us about the history of temples, but at the same time it wasn't overwhelming. We had enough time to visit every temple. The only thing is that we didn't have time to have a proper lunch (only time to buy snacks in the meantime).

Unique boat trip between the temples.
This was a very good day trip if your interested in seeing an old and historic temple site via a bus and then boat ride. Bare in mind the second temple site is a ruin. However at sun set it looks great, The first site is of a more well keep temple as seen in pics.

    Fun with Jom
The tour was great despite the rain. Jom was pretty funny and knowledgeable. He kept the show going even though it rained the entire tour.

Well worth the visit, great day trip
Great Day, was quite moving to visit the Bridge, museum, war graves and then the POW camp itself with the railway. We travelled from Bangkok and had plenty of room on the bus, stopping for self-funded breakfast and coffee on the way, thankfully. Lunch was excellent, and the view was calming also, although very very hot!

    Bike tour of Ayutthaya
I highly recommend the bike tour of Ayutthaya as it was a unique way to experience the historical sites. We took the tour with Sarinya who was very knowledgeable about the sites and took the time to answer all our questions about the temples. We really appreciated her and our drivers patience and kindness - offering us cold water, umbrellas when it rained, and even making sure to we had vegetarian options for lunch. She took lots of pictures and really made it a memorable experience for us. Thank you Sarinya!

    A terrible boat tour
This boat tour we took in February was one of the worst tours we have ever taken. It was not a pleasant 12 hours from pick up to drop off. Let’s just say Gilligan and his shipmates likely had a better time being stranded on their tour than we had. I had done research and even contacted a few companies to ask questions about their boat tours and then picked a tour based on the responses. Which turned out to be lies! The boat left from a different location than I was told, the tour started almost an hour late, and the pier it left from was rundown with a nasty concrete toilet block. There were a lot of boats from different companies and for some reason they all loaded at the same time, and we were lined up in the hot sun to wait for our turn to get on a boat. There were a lot more people than the maximum number I was told (24 - there were more like 38!), in fact, the tour guide kept having to ask people to squeeze together on the benches and men to stop manspreading and close their legs. There was only one snorkelling stop (not three as the outline said), and that area didn’t have great visibility. Speaking of visibility, the seats in the boat were so far below the windows you couldn’t see out as we were speeding from island to island. What is the point of a boat trip when you can’t see the scenery? So the “pass bys” which were listed as photo opportunities were not! The buffet lunch only had a few selections and one was spaghetti. They couldn’t do a Thai noodle dish? Finally, the last stop which was promoted as “world famous Maya Bay, featured in the movie “The Beach”. Enjoy photoshoot or swimming and snorkelling.” was a huge bust as we were herded up and down stairs and along a boardwalk like cattle to see the beach where the signs said NO SWIMMING! I had read online that the beach had been closed for environmental reasons, so that mistake in their marketing should have made me think twice. Admittedly the beach was pretty, but there were hordes of people on it even though you can’t go in the water. And to top things off, as the boat pulled away from the dock a couple yelled that their friends weren’t back! The guide hadn’t done a head count! They were lucky they had friends onboard who let the guide know so the boat backed up to the dock. The couple were trying to make their way through the crowds as the guide yelled at them to hurry up. Then we had to wait as the mass of vans in the parking lot at the pier tried to get their passengers on board for the ride back to Patong. Not a good day.

    Nice trip
The tour guide Jony was very good. Always smiling and clear in his explanation. All the places are worth seeing .. Ayutthaya temple, boat ride, fish feeding, Buddha inside tree and the stupas were the highlights

The Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya is a must see if you visit the area. It was an experience that was very fulfilling and life changing. Still in awe at the art and effort that was put into creating such a beautiful structure. Also, the lunch was amazing and the culture experience.

Beautifully carved structure. Lots of wise sayings. The only thing to mar the visit were people hogging spots for their instagram photos

I'm not resting the experience but the experience bought through Viator.
VIATOR ARE NORMALLY THE MOST RELIABLE FOR EXPERIENCES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. also one of the most expensive
Buy a ticket on arrival or from locals as this was nearly double. The Kung fu show wasn't even on so no point paying double for a ticket. The tour is not by viator reps anyway.
The place is a work of art and absolutely beautiful. Interesting philosophy and more agreeable than religious attractions

Construction began in 1981 and has lasted for more than 40 years. Due to the vast scale and meticulous construction, the completion of the Jinjin Temple is still far away from today.
The Sanctuary of Truth is built in the style of an Indian temple. It looks like a temple at first glance, but in fact, the Sanctuary of Truth is a great work of art just like the White Temple and the Black Temple in Chiang Mai.
