- 1Come enjoy an evening out in a truly Northern style setting at a traditional Khantoke Dinner, one of a must-do-and-enjoy dining experience once you are in Chiang Mai. At dinner, your meal will be served on special, low, circular tables called toke presenting various kinds of delicious Northern Thai dishes. Get picked up at your hotel and make your way to the Old Chiangmai Cultural Center. Upon your arrival, seat yourself on a mat at one of the the low, circular khantoke tables. These small pedestals are a Lanna tradition. Then feast on an authentic Northern Thai meal while enjoying an elegant Thai dance performance. Just a short time ago, this traditional dance was still only performed for the most honored guests. Enjoy the beautiful atmosphere and cool night air as you take in this combination of cuisine and culture. During the meal, you will feel more relaxed with gracious Northern Thai folk dance and show all along.

- justin b0 contributionsAuthentic Bangkok market experiencePicked up in air conditioned car out side hotel with cold water bottle awaiting me. English speaking guide was very informative and filled lots of holes in my limited knowledge of Bangkok and its history. Tour started with the canal boats and an exploration of the waterways surrounding Khlong Lat Mayom floating markets. Feilds of bananas, mangoes, apples were all shown and revered. Even saw several monitor lizards in the waterways. Returning to the market there were many choices for breakfast. And I mean many. Whatever you can think of it was there. An endless walk through the markets in pursuit of stomach filling goodness. Actually I gorged myself like a pig. Trying everything I could and then some. When I could hardly walk it was time to go to the second market Taling Chan. This market was a lot smaller but as my guide said it has different wares from the other. Similar to a region offering different delicacies this also didn’t disappoint. Live traditional music an added bonus. All in all a great tour that I would recommend to all. Thanks Bangkok!Written 25 March 2025
- 348kerrih0 contributionsGreat TourWell worth doing this tour. Could not do Big Buddha as it is still closed due to unsafe land conditions. Our guide Fa was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the different areas we visited.Written 22 March 2025
- Voyage187282656000 contributionsPhuket old town and temple visitA well-organised trip with about the right mount of time at each stop. Daisy (our guide) was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgable. Transport good. Driver (John?) drove safely through torrential rain storm on return journey.Written 20 March 2025
- Philwym0 contributionsA bit disappointing.A bit disappointing, although not the fault of the tour company. Because of a recent land slip, there was no access to the Big Buddha. On the plus side the Karon viewpoint was great as was Wat Chalong. However I wasn’t too impressed with the viewpoint over Phuket, apart from the monkeys, and there was little in Phuket Old Town that interested me.Written 20 March 2025
- jancS7380IL0 contributionsVery disappointingThis was one of the most disappointing tour I have been, and I have travelled overseas every year for the last 30 years, so that is saying something. If you only want to be dropped off at places and left to your own devices, it may suit. Our guide had no microphone, a very tiny voice wand when she could be heard, spoke so fast with an accent that was very difficult to understand. The little information I gleaned was something that I could find out on Google in 5 minutes. No insights from the local! Such a waste of time and money.Written 17 March 2025
- Fozzie440 contributionsThis tour was one of the highlights of my visitI really enjoyed this tour!!! Daisy was an amazing guide. She was full of knowledge and information. The stops were the perfect amount of time. Daisy was helpful assisting with photos. I also enjoyed the moments we had to process all the information with the music and air conditioning on in the comfortable van. Huge shout out to our driver too!!!Written 16 March 2025
- N768HTsarahd0 contributionsWorth It!Pat’s professionalism and care was exceptional. :) I just wish there was a bit more information on the history! So many mysteries to these temples! :)Written 16 March 2025
- Dterry1820 contributionsEnjoyable, interesting, and a great way to spend an afternoon. My wife and I took this tour yesterday (12th March) in the afternoon. We were picked up on time by our guide, the wonderful Daisy. We were taken by an air-conditioned mini van to a couple of viewpoints, Chalong Temple, and finally to Old Phuket. The length of time at each location was perfect, as was the length of the tour itself. Our guide Daisy made everyone feel welcome and was very friendly. She was very knowledgeable and informative about each location. We thought the tour was very good value for money, interesting, and just to right length, in terms of time. We would both thoroughly recommend it.Written 12 March 2025
- claireh7620180 contributionsGreat way to see several must see attractions in a short space of time.Well thought out trip with just the right amount of time at each stop. It would of have just been nice to have more information about the temples. Cheerful and friendly guide though.Written 10 March 2025
- GoPlaces572702596610 contributionsExcellentThe tour was excellent. We had an air conditioned bus and a fair amount of time for pictures. Got close to some monkeys and visited the temples. Open markets was fun with good foodWritten 9 March 2025
- velos20250 contributionsHalf day Phuket tour with Sun Leisre WorldThis half day city tour is definitely a must do. We got to see the amazing views of Phuket, visit the largest Wat in Phuket and do some shopping. Our guide and driver were friendly and full of information about the places we visited. The best part was a visit to Old Quarter Phuket where the shopping was great with prices being far lower than the markets in Phuket.Written 7 March 2025
- Road266636800430 contributionsDaisy is the best tour guideDaisy was the best tour guide we could have asked for. Her knowledge on the local culture and passion for Thailand made the trip so memorable. Even though we were unable to see big Buddha due to the landslides, we didn’t feel like we missed out on anything. A highly recommended tour.Written 6 March 2025

- TheNutleyNut0 contributionsNina was awesome. Great sites and tour.Nina was our guide. Such a sweet and kind guide. Knowledgeable. Feisty and helpful navigating al the tourists on the temples. Great suggestions for photo ops. Afforded us pockets of time alone to enjoy and experience in each location but still with us to inform and educate on the location. We really enjoyed her tour.Written 3 March 2025

This activity was such a treat from the busy chaos that can occur in Chiang Mai. When you arrive you will be seated at your dining area which has been set up for you based on the number of people in your party. You must be comfortable sitting on the ground for long periods of time though. They will take your drink order and then begin preparing your food. You get plenty enough food. And if you would like more of anything they will bring it for you. There were two of us in our party and we were unable to eat all of the foods. The food was really tasty. There wasn't anything that I thought was prepared poorly which can happen when you prepare large amounts of the same food.
The show itself is just okay but it was interesting and entertaining to hear the music and see the traditional dances of each of the tribal people of Thailand.

My mother and I attended this event. We were given a drink upon arrival, and escorted to our seat. This place operates very efficiently. As soon as we sat down, we were immediately brought a large variety of food. The show was fun. A lot of cultural dancing and singing. Very touristy, but we were tourists so we didn't mind at all!

Excellent show. Awesome food. The even had vegetarian meals. Waiters were very attentive. The shows are very entertaining. The souvenir pics were only $3/100baht. We loved it. Also the street vendors outside have great prices for their clothings and souvenirs. 👍

The free shuttle was nice but took a while and the location is fairly remote so we spent over an hour riding in the van.
The food was good but not great and personally served to your table with free refills for bowls you wanted more of. The food wait staff was fairly prompt but the drink staff [they are different people...?] were very slow [15mins+ for first drink, 10 minutes to catch them for second drink, another 15 minutes for second drink]. They were not busy but stood around talking to each other and playing on their phones.
The show was lackluster. The buildings and stage area was nice and the costumes were good and authentic. But the performance was amateur and lacked excitement and development. It felt like a high-school play because the actors/dancers were all very young and seemed uninterested in the show. Each 'dance' just kind of ended without fanfare as they exited stage front and then another would start after a pause.
All seats can see the show but there is definitely a VIP section along the stage where there are cushioned seats [all other seats are japanese-style hole under the table wooden seat with small pad] and could see the show better and interact with the actors.
By the end of the hour [which seems short but felt long], the show is concluded. It was a nice night but everyone is ushered out and loaded onto vans so no lingering or getting another drink.
