This Thai cooking class in Chiang Mai showcases the best of the city's culinary traditions and bright flavors. Tour a local market with your professional guide and learn about the fruits, vegetables and spices that help to create prolific dishes. You'll be able to choose from three different cooking options, including a daily course, dinner private course, and special Sunday course to fit your interests and needs. This tour includes all the ingredients, expert instruction, and plenty of delicious dishes to savor. It's the perfect option for anyone who wants to take the flavors of Thailand home.
What to Expect
You will be picked up from your hotel at 9am and head to the local market, see how Thai people sell and buy their meal, you can try some local food here. Then we take you to our lovely home and there's a garden you get to harvest ingredients from, a rice field just outside the back gates, and mangoes grow right above your head.

The kitchen is set up in a welcoming style where everyone cooks together and gets to try each other's dishes. Please note that each person will have own cooking station and hands on cooking.

You will learn to cook 5 delicious dishes that absolutely plan to recreate at home. We also can accommodating to individual taste and dietary needs. We will provide a complimentary recipe book before transfer you back to your hotel in Chiang Mai downtown.

Appetizers: Chicken Satay or Fresh Spring Rolls
Soups: Tom Yum soup, Tom Sabb soup, or Tom Kha soup
Pastes and Curries: Green Curry, Panaeng Curry, Massaman Curry, or Kaw Soi Curry noodles
Stir-Fried Dishes: Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, or Drunken noodles
Desserts: Mango with sticky rice, steamed banana cake, or steamed coconut cake
Extra Inclusion: Fresh seasonal fruit for everyone

I believe it ended around 4PM. That was for the full day class, not sure if she does a half day.
