Tour company (YTS Holidays) first assigned a female tour guide as I requested, then they made a last minute switch ( 1 hour before the tour) to an old (>70), sick, male and semi-retired tour guide who spoke very poor English. The guide kept coughing the whole time and has memory problems that repeatedly forgot where to pick me up; he also kept repeating the same speech as he forgot he had said that already. He walked so slowly that I had to waste my limited tour time to wait for him everywhere. I ended up could not finish visiting all the sites I requested. Terrible experience and it really could not have been worse. We have travel extensively and had many private guides, this is absolutely the worst experience. We will definitely never book any tours with this tour operator (YTS Holidays) again. Feel there is a bait-and-switch tactic going on, as they first assigned a female guide as we requested, and then changed last minute to a undesirable guide without any explanation, options, or apologies to us.

I arranged a two day tour through Viator who led me to YTS travel. They were professional and I was reassured every step of the way. We actually traveled by ship and a driver was waiting for us at the port and took us 1.5 hours to Bangkok. There we were met by our tour guide Bob who was amazing. His command of history and of the temples was detailed and comprehensive. He took us to Wat Arun, WAt Traimit, the Dragon Temple, Chinatown and the Reclining Buddha. The next day our guide Kiki took us to the Maeklong Railway Market and the Damnoen Saduak floating market. She was wonderful and caring and suggested fun foods to try. It was a spectacular day! We learned that the guides work freelance and we feel we really lucked out. Return transportation was also provided to Laem Chabang.

from start to finish brilliant, polly por so friendly and knowledgeable showed us the grand palace absolutely stunning then a shopping mall that is a must. we really wished we had booked an overnight stay wonderful place and people the driver that took us to and from the port so calm for the amount of traffic

Bella was very nice, and told us about history. We had a nice boat ride and we saw the three temples on our tour. She takes great pictures too.

We had an amazing day in Bangkok with our guide Katty who showed us things, took us on the canal & explained in great detail & also became our personal photographer. Also our driver made the long journey so comfortable as im sure it is a very challenging journey with all the traffic

We wanted to see temples and markets which is exactly what we got. Our guide was lovely and very informative! We did cut the tour short as it was soooo hot but well worth getting a customisable tour then you get taken where you want to go. Clean, comfy mini van. Very nice tour.

Our guide and driver were the BEST! They understood our needs and were exceptionelle friendly. The Know-How from our Guide Rawat was outstanding and he was able to answer all our questions about the places we visited and thai culture.

We had one day in Bangkok to see as much as possible. Fern was amazing. She brought us to a fantastic variety of places and arranged a 2 hour boat trip to see and experience how local people lived while also visiting the palace complex and several temples and even the flower markets. It was a day that I shall always remember. A definite recommendation. Especially for those who are cruising and have limited time here.

The views were amazing, food delicious, music great. Organised chaos when we first arrived but managed by the staff. We all thoroughly enjoyed the night.

The landscapes are incredibly beautiful, with tropical beaches and golden sand. The waters of the beaches, perhaps due to the wave activity on the day of the trip, were murky. The lunch we had was tasty, with a variety of options, including choices for vegetarians. However, I would like to focus on two issues: 1. Due to the wave activity and strong winds (approximately four to five Beaufort), the journey was quite challenging. Moreover, there was no indication, except right before boarding at the dock, that this particular trip could be dangerous for pregnant individuals or those with back problems due to the intense shaking of the boat. At times, I felt concerned for my safety. & 2. The second issue is the limited time we had available to explore and enjoy these beautiful places, as there were numerous stops at several islands.

Wow 🤩 what can I say !! The g you want to book a private guided tour book with this company . We had Bella as our tour guide !! Her English 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 s amazing and her knowledge of all the history surrounding our tour was incredible! The driver too was lovely and felt safe . Was a good way to see all the temples with pick ups and drop offs … as It does get quite warm . We were very happy with our day and Bella was amazing 🤩! So kind and thoughtful too ! The pleasure was ours to have had such a lovely lady with so much knowledge take care of us . We highly recommend.

Very well organised, lots of fun. Great guides and ATV trails were awesome. Beautiful hamburgers with chips, fresh watermelon and drinks for after. Clean toilets and showers for use as well. Was very dusty as no rain for a while. Would have loved some goggles but glasses were god enough.

Wonderful experience... The view from the deck is very impressive. The glass walk is pretty daunting and challenging for people like me who have acrophobia. But worth trying to face your fear. :-) The queue was quite long, and you need to hand over your large backpack and no water bottle is allowed either.

We are so disappointed to be let down at the last minute by YTS for our trip to Petronas Towers on the 2nd January 2025. We booked months ago. In September I messaged via WhatsApp to ascertain where tickets would be collected from and was given the response 'not to worry they would let me know later'. I have also learnt the company operates from Thailand not Malaysia. We had booked early to secure a sunset viewing. It is very peculiar that their excuse is they can only try to obtain tickets on the actual day of visit. I have since discovered tickets can be booked direct with Petronas Towers for that date (although the time is no longer available). We have booked many trips through Viator over the years and this is the first time there has been a problem. Thank you to Viator for your customer support and prompt refund however you really need to think twice about using YTS
