About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Gavin A0 contributionsBrillaint service for those who don’t like hassle and prefer seamless arrival experienceBrillaint very attentive service, greeted at gate and helped through the airport and via passport and immigration all way to luggage and as I’d booked a transfer to hotel package they helped locate the provider and sent me off on my wayWritten 11 September 2024
- dl5730 contributionsExcellent trip with top notch crewWe went on a bunch of boat trips during our two weeks in Phuket. This was by far the best run one. The Royal Marina is the best departure spot to leave from, clean and very high end. The boats are very well maintained, fast and don't smell like oil like some of the other boats. Po and Pone were very good guides and organizers. We went everywhere we could and luckily got a sunny day (even with decent wind/waves). Thankfully we got a lot of time on Bamboo Island which is by far the best uncrowded beach island with perfect turquoise water. The lunch on Phi Phi Don was excellent, far better than the other tours that actually made us sick (avoid the Sea Gypsies / floating docks, it's a floating slum).Written 11 September 2024
- karencU7790QQ0 contributionsAmazingI have been trying to think about what I can say about this experience. It was simply wonderful. The staff Jolie, Anne, Yutty, and Unif were great from the moment we arrived and made us feel like VIPs. I suggest no eating during the day because the meal is large. Additionally, everything was so good that you don't want to miss out. I will definitely do this again the next time I visit.Written 10 September 2024

Staff were extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. Romantic, cosy atmosphere. Great views of the War Arun Temple. Perfect for couples - worth spending the extra £20Written 9 September 2024

- I2542OXdaven0 contributionsWould definitely recommend! Was my first time doing rope climbing outdoors. Could not have picked a better place and guide to do it with. Was picked up and greeted by Tar, presumably the manager of Krabi Rock Climbing. Great sense of humour and energy. We were handed over to our climbing guide, Bimon, who was really lovely and a proficient climbing guide. Needless to say, we had an amazing time climbing at Railay beach. Great introduction to using the belaying systems and procedures. Managed to send some really nice routes with superb views from the top!Written 2 September 2024
- devidpieratti0 contributionsOutstanding evening on the skyOne of the best experiences in Bangkok. Starting from the aperitif drink at the Roof Top bar, followed by the outstanding dinner…. Oysters, Crab, wagyu, truffle soup… just few of the many options. The revolving deck offer a stunning prospective of Bangkok.Written 31 August 2024

- K7444BRpeterl0 contributionsAnother good trip to ThailandExcellent dinner cruise on the famous and ancient Bangkok Chaophraya river. Dinner buffet was a good start to our wonderful journey through Thailand. Good was great. Service is what we expect in Thailand and is spectacular. Getting aboard is the only thing we thought needs improvement. It was a little chaotic. It was partly our fault for getting to the docks 15 minutes before departure. I would recommend at least a hour to make sure you are properly checked in and in the right line for the right cruise. There several cruise that depart at the time.Written 28 August 2024

- abbychung40 contributionsStunning views and a luxurious dining experienceSirocco at Lebua is an exceptional dining experience, offering stunning panoramic views of Bangkok from the 63rd floor. The food was exquisite, with a menu that showcases a blend of Mediterranean and we booked the 3 course set menu. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, though the portions were on the smaller side for the price. The wine selection was extensive, with options that perfectly complemented the meal. The live jazz music added a lovely touch to the evening, enhancing the overall atmosphere. For a special occasion or simply to enjoy one of the best views in Bangkok, it’s well worth it.Written 26 August 2024
- 202antonm0 contributionsGuide just leftAs they lied in response and I can't edit my review. So this is updated new one with proofs in screenshots. They meet my family near the air bridge and help with bags a little bit. That’s all good news. Immigration officer have a question about visa, because our school mess up with it. It took some time to get through to the school and sort everything out. But at one moment guide told my wife “time is up” and he left. So she had to take several suitcases with two children and carry them herself. We didn't get any of the service we paid for. And if there is a time limit, you need to write about it. For example, "we'll leave you if we're tired of waiting for you."Written 26 August 2024
- spacescake0 contributionsHighly recommended for anyone traveling through DMK!I had an excellent experience using the VIP Fast-Track Immigration Service at Don Mueang Airport. The process was incredibly smooth and efficient, which made my arrival stress-free. As soon as I landed, a friendly staff member greeted me at the airbridge and guided me through immigration with no delays. The entire process took just a few minutes, and I was on my way to baggage claim without any hassle. This service is definitely worth it if you want to avoid the long lines and start your trip off on the right foot. Highly recommend!Written 25 August 2024

This tour should be at the top of everyone's list. Extremely enjoyed this tour, plus we had a great guide Beer. He was very knowledgeable and explained the history of Ayutthaya in detail at every stop. Ample time was given for each attraction and plenty of photos were taken. The boat trip back was excellent and great food too

Tour guide is super infomative and fun! Schedule is on time, everything went smoothly. Ayutthaya is so interesting and very beautiful! and with our tour guide we get to know more about the history. The trip also included the lunch on board the boat and that was for us the best part of the day. I would recommend people to try this!

After booking, they contacted me to demand an extra $9 because “your hotel is outside of the central area”, which was a lie. They later admitted in writing that this violated the terms of service. We were gone 11 hours; 2.5 hours were spent sightseeing and about 2 hours were spent on the cruise. 6.5 hours were spent driving or just waiting. Unbelievably, we were in the ruins for only 30 minutes. The tour guide, Jom, spoke very poor English, but never shut up, repeating herself over and over about the tiniest details. Several times during lunch, I asked her to give us some peace, but she ignored my request, at one point telling us the name of a prison four times. She had no problem walking away from us without warning or being late to meeting points, oblivious to our concerns about becoming lost in rural Thailand. My wife said, “This is the worst day of my life.”

Dear justinsY9899PQ,
I do regret reading that you were so disappointed, and also regret that you have taken a tour without reading the Product Description first.
The vast majority of tourists who partake in this tour give it a very high rating. This is one of Thailand's most popular tours, let alone I Asia's. Your wife is in the extreme minority, (but it is wonderful to know that she has had such a wonderful life!).
Kind regards,
Christopher

Anyone expecting a full day tour, prepare to be disappointed. Firstly, we were notified the evening before the trip that river cruise return to Bangkok was not possible, and after bus back there was a lunch cruise in Bangkok only. We accept that it was out of the control of the operators but apologies or compensation was lacking. This was our last day in Bangkok so rescheduling was not possible.
However, excited to see the many wonderful sights in Ayatthaya we embarked on the tour with an open mind and expectations of a wonderful day out. Unfortunately the tour didn't even come close to expectations as a day out actually was only half a day. We only stopped at 4 places, the temple area with Buddha's head in the tree roots, an area with a large Buddha laying down (free entry), a small but beautiful temple (free entry), and the Royal families Summer Palace.
It really did seem that we spent more time on the bus than viewing interesting and beautiful places. An evening cruise can be beautiful when the city is lit up after nightfall, but a day cruise is very disappointing.
Overall, this tour is poor value, badly planned and lacking in sightseeing experiences. The tour guide was a lovely gentlemen but his English accent was difficult to understand sometimes. Personally I feel it would have been better to spend the money on renting a car and visiting more wonderful places in the historic Ayatthaya area and then enjoyed an night cruise in Bangkok.
Except for the Summer Palace, time allowed at the first was brief averaging about 20mins at each location. This was a little rushed for 2 of the locations. 1hr at the Summer Palace proved to be long considering only one building was hosting a museum, and everything else was only viewable from exterior.

Dear iGRiMR3AP3R,
Thank for your comments and its great that I have a a chance to respond.
This is a full day tour picking up at 730am and finishing at 430pm. We did call you to explain that the itinerary changed and you accepted this change. We could have refunded you 100% but you decided to join the tour, we have to make that clear. The boat was cancelled from Ayutthaya as there was a parade and the local authorities stopped all cruises that day.
We never said you would stay a full day in Ayutthaya as this is not the tour that you booked. It does say that you visit the best 4 areas before boarding the boat for your lunch and then cruise back to Bangkok.
I feel that the itinerary you expected was not what we offered and I do not know if read the itinerary of the day before you booked or if this was booked through an agent, they should also pass this on to you.
Thanks and Regards,
Nick

Ayutthaya, the old capital city of Thailand is a magnificent place to visit. Full of preserved ruins, the place is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The guides were very helpful and friendly. overall a great day spent looking at the ruins. The highlight of the day was the Bang Pa In royal palace. 46 acres of Royal opulence at its best and the relaxing river trip back to Bangkok. The food was excellent! I highly recommended this trip.

I can not recommend this tour enough. It may be an early start but it was well worth it. Great guide, very informative. The only let down was other members of the group not sticking to timings. The buffet on the boat cruise was amazing. There was a great selection of delicious Thai foods on board.
We also booked the electric airport transfer with I Asia on arrival which was excellent

We booked a group tour with viator and didn’t like the rush rush way of visittingthe site, have the impression we missed a good deal. The city has more to offer than just the few ruins we saw and the summer palace. Of course, this has to do with the time it takes to drive around... cruise and lunch on the boat was nice

We had an excellent time on our full day Ayutthaya excursion with I Asia Thailand. We were picked up from our hotel and shuttled to an air conditioned and comfortable motor coach that took us to Ayutthaya from Bangkok. On the way, our guide Lek who spoke English very well, told us about different historical and cultural Thai facts. We first stopped the Summer Palace and spent a good amount of time there. About half the time was spent with our guide and then we had some time to walk around by ourselves. The guide and her information was excellent.
From there, we went to the ruins of Ayutthaya. We saw the face of the Buddha in the tree which was amazing and were guided around the ruins and told the stories of what happened back in history that lead to the capital of Thailand to be moved to Bangkok.
Next, we went to see a beautiful golden Buddha inside the temple. From there, we bussed to another temple where the longest reclining Buddha in Thailand is located and it was really stunning and we took many pictures.
We then went to our boat where we enjoyed a wonderful ride down the Chao Phraya River and had a great Thai buffet lunch with a good assortment of tasty food including salads and hot dishes and a great choice of desserts. On the boat ride back, our guide told us more information about the different buildings and sites we passed on the river.
It was a really wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone that was going to Bangkok. Thanks to the staff at I Asia Thailand who were amazing.

This is a perfect tour to get a quick overview of Ayutthaya, the ruins and the summer palace. Time is enough in Ayutthaya at the sites with the guide explaining the ruins during the morning. She was very informative. We then took the boat cruise too. The food on the boat tour was excellent. The boat tour itself was worth the whole tour alone. It was amazing to see all the houses, buildings and Buddha’s along the river. The view coming into Bangkok was gorgeous from the boat.

Dear Guest,
Unfortunately the cruise company cancelled due to a small amount of passengers booking. We did not ask you to cancel so we could not pay. That’s simply not true. We asked you to cancel this as you booked this and we can issue you a full refund. You did receive a full refund as you did not mention this in your comments.
Thanks.
