Overview
Exploring Bangkok by car or coach means you miss out on the winding alleys and hidden squares that imbue the city with charm. Discover Bangkok’s backstreets on a bike tour for a great introduction to Thailand’s capital. Pedal past the shops and markets of Bangkok Chinatown (Yaowarat), stopping to sample food and browse market stalls without the hassle of finding a parking space. Plus, choose from a morning or afternoon departure time to suit your schedule.
What to Expect

Begin your cycling tour in the heart of Bangkok Chinatown (Yaowarat), where you’ll greet your guide and board your bike. Pedal through winding alleys replete with shops and stalls selling Thai produce, and stop to pick up artisan souvenirs such as Buddhist amulets and recycled truck engines.

See locals worshiping at hidden temples and with luck, witness ritual paper burning before you cross the Chao Phraya River (Mae Nam Chao Phraya) on a ferry.

Conclude your tour by pedaling through the tranquil residential  streets of Thonburi, formerly the capital of Thailand. Your guide is happy to provide further recommendations for your vacation.

Unique tour, but hardly informational

This tour was great to get away from the crowds and bike down very narrow back alleys and sidewalks...which was fun. However, our guide did not have the best english and the tour itself was hardly educational. We rarely stopped to learn anything about the...More

Very enjoyable 3 hour bike tour

5 hour ride is better because you see more interesting sites and green areas, long tail boat ride etc. 3 hours is a good quick tour around Bangkok

Great way to see Bangkook, but expensive

We had a great half-day trip with the kids. The tour was extremely well organized, the guides very friendly. The food was great. The tour takes you to places you would normally not think of visiting. For Thai standards, the cost for the tour is...More

Must have done this one

Very nice to see Bangkok from a local point of view. Nice markets and small streets even with the bike on the boat. Tip: go back to Koh San Road by boat (orange flag) cost just a fraction of a robbing taxi/tuktuk.

You do need to be a competent rider because, certainly on the tour we took, much of the route is through narrow alleyways when you are competing with pedestrians for space. The road crossings are well managed with staff... More

I think they do a longer bike tour that includes a trip on the river, but I’m not 100% sure, as we only did the 3 hour bike tour. If you want to spend time on the river, I think the best thing to do is just catch the local... More
