Sure, you can hit all the temples you want in one day. You can eat banana pancakes with backpackers on Khao San Road. And you can visit the floating markets. But seeing the real Bangkok, the one that locals know and a lot of tourists don’t? For that you’ll have to hop on a bike. This 4-hour guided bike tour brings you down the backstreets and to street food venders serving up delicious snacks you’d never find on your own. This is a small group tour, which means more attention from the guide.
See a different side of Bangkok on a half-day bike tour
Cross the Chao Phraya River by bridge and ferry
Explore backstreets and canals to get a sense of daily life in the capital
Sample Thai street food and market snacks along the way
What to Expect
Meet your guide and hop on a rental bike in central Bangkok near legendary Khao San Road. Ride along the Chao Phraya River and cross the city’s main artery using the Rama 8 Bridge. Then duck into a Muslim neighborhood to learn about the Thai capital’s diversity. Watch scenes of daily life in the bustling city as you follow the Bangkok Noi Canal, and cross back over the river via ferry.
Visit a local market for a lesson in Thai culinary culture and samples of authentic street snacks and then pedal over to the the Giant Swing, where you’ll learn how this landmark once played an important role in a Hindu ceremony. Make your way back to the starting point for a celebratory beverage with your small group before parting ways.
