    Top notch Tuk Tuk Tour
Giving this tour 5 stars was a no brainer. From the very get go, our very knowledgeable and cheerful guide, Duk, provided an amazing experience. All tuk tuk night tours stop at the same places but what makes this one a little different is that they start off with street food at the local market and then a full 5 course sit down dinner by the river. The dinner was unexpectedly excellent with the food being the tastiest during our more than 1 week in Thailand. Highlight was an extended time in Chinatown with a couple of local desserts. 2 thumbs up !!

    Bangkok tuk-tuk WARNING
Bangkok tuk-tuk rides Be VERY wary. Sometimes, they try to rip you on the fare Otherwise, they might quote a very low fare followed by saying they would like to take you to a Thai Tourist gift shop - claiming that your destination is on the opposite side of the road (which is a lie) - on the pretext that there is no pressure to you to buy but also say to stay there for about half an hour In actual fact, they get a petrol voucher as well as maybe a commission on your purchases Also the Thai Tourist gift shop is a long distance from your destination. In our case when we decided not to enter the Thai Tourist Gift shop, there was a back and forth conversation where he pleaded with us to enter the shop and we begged him to take us direct to our destination. We were all the time very calm when pleading to take us to our destination Finally, when the driver understood that we had no intention to enter the gift shop, he gave up and told us to "get off the tuk tuk" repeatedly. We finally gave up on him and got off To show how upset he was, he even refused to accept the fare he quoted So please refuse to make a diversion to the Thai Tourist gift shop and insist on going direct to your destination Alternatively, just ask the hotel to negotiate a fare with a proper air-conditioned taxi. You could go by the meter - or ask the hotel to negotiate the fare to your destination - cheaper than the meter

Lovely food, night time tour and experience
Amazing food, tour of the city by night and lots of fun. Our guide ‘Net’ and driver ‘Mr Phut’ were lovely and full of Knowledge and smiles. Net guided us so well to some amazing locations that locals eat at, including a big cooked and baked food market that had the most amazing sausages and coconut bases sweet treats. If you are asked whether you want to go to a formal restaurant or a restaurant under a bridge with blue plastic chairs, choose under the bridge. You won’t regret it. We had amazing time and loved walking around the 24hr flower wholesale market on our way to one of the food stops. I’d recommend Net, Mr Phut and the trip 1000%

Tour with "P" lucky for us!
We have been coming to Bangkok now for over 20 years but we like to do something each time even though we know the food well. The reason is, you always get something out of it. And our tour with P we got to know just a really nice guy and have a lot of stories amongst us with us getting to know him and vice versa. Improvements could be the meeting point and to be honest I could have done without Chinatown, it was too busy and hard to enjoy. But would totally do this tour again with P and also the tuk tuk driver Mr Sombat was really nice and a good driver. Thanks also to Hamadkhan for his helpful communication.

    Great food, even better people
Our tour guide Jibbs made the whole experience. Her passion for her home really came through and made the food all that much more special. Two words of advice: 1) come HUNGRY, you will eat a ton, and 2) ask for Jibbs. She seriously did an amazing job showing us the hidden gems of her city.

Jazzi is one of a kind
This tour was great. The food and the tuk tuks were an experience that is unrivaled. We learnt about the language, we learnt about where the food comes from and how it should be consumed but more importantly we learnt about the passion behind the food through the amazing tour guide jazzi. Would recommend this over and over again.

    Amazing Tour
Tae (Tony) our tour guide was amazing so informative and passionate about his job we learnt a lot about the history of the Grand Palace and the Emerald Temple and Reclining Buddah. We went for a private tour as we were time short which Tong was very flexible with our times and energy. We were an older group so he was very respectful of our limitations love the tuk tuks difficult to get in and out but manageable and worth a few aches and pains. Our drivers were very helpful This is the way to go to see Bangkok safely very reasonable in price would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bangkok Midnight Markets Tour - a MUST DO to see 'real Bangkok'
Everyone I've told about going for a tour that starts at 10pm and ends at 2am has looked at me like I'm mad. Maybe, but in this case it paid off SO much. First - don't let the time scare you. Bangkok is so much cooler at night, and with rush hour actually over, you can see way more, way faster than you do in the day. Secondly, the places that you go aren't even open during the day, or aren't anywhere as alive as they are at night. And finally, the guide (Net) and driver we had were delightful, passionate and so much fun to spend an evening with. We visited four markets, plus a snack break. I was wondering at first if it might get tiring, but it didn't at all - each market was SO unique. From the racy streets of the night markets (with shops that open at 5pm and shut at 5am), to trendy teen hangouts, the Khlong Toei market with all sorts of produce, and Chinatown's wholesale market, all of it was incredibly interesting and there was literally not a single boring moment from start to finish. Having Net guide us was also amazing. Not only was she super friendly and bubbly (which was a lot, given the hour), but she also engaged with vendors to help us ask questions about what we were seeing - which was super helpful, because we were pretty much the only tourists around at all the locations we went to. Many tours will take you places you could go on your own or read things online about, but this one really lets you (as a foreigner) access to parts of Bangkok you definitely couldn't manage alone. Everything from the route to the stops is super well planned and organised, and it seriously impressed me.

    Amazing experience with P
We did not have a guide on the two tours we did with Expique, we had a family member! That's how it felt doing two tours with Mr P (Da Nai - I hope I spell it right)! Expique were impecable. They were responsive, adapted to all our needs (and we had tons, what with 4 kids in the group), were ready to change things on the go. All the transport was great, food delicious and atmosphere amazing! Would recommend and do again whenever back in Bangkok!

This is a tour to go with. I didn’t realize that you can do so much in 4 hours. I get to explore Bangkok and get to learn many new things from local markets, sightseeing and local food. Highly recommend for anyone who have less time in Bangkok

    Need for a guide
Expique's tour was disorganized, and the advertised 'unique experiences' felt mundane. It didn't live up to the expectations set by their promotional material.

We had a terrific time on this tour and highly recommend it as a good way to experience Bangkok at night and taste some local food you might not otherwise try on your own. The tour leaders were easy to find and understand and we got to see many of the city's "must sees" at night and up close. And the best part is you get to see the sights and taste some amazing food, so be hungry when you begin the tour. Riding a Tuk-Tuk is a great way to experience any city on a tour or on you own.

My daughter and I visited Bangkok for new year's eve and with only 3 days to spare, we chose this tour along with the Best of Bangkok in a Day. The temples and markets look completely different at night and our guide made the entire experience really fun. The Tuk-Tuk was a fast and fun way to get around the city and the food and history we received made this the perfect tour. I highly recommend it.

We only had two days in Bangkok and needed to carefully choose what to do,a decision futher complicated by us travelling with two teenagers. The Bangkok by Night tour was the perfect choice. We got to do all the musts in one go with an absolute amazing guide who both truly knew and shared the history of her country as well as culture by both facts and personal experience. This is also the first time ever on any tour the food lives up to the promise, all was top standard (and we are foodies used to across the world visit the best restaurants so quite hard to impress)! My husband and I had seen the temples before some 17 years ago but this was a new and better experience as not croweded which meant it was possible to really appriciate the places. The possiblity to ask questions to one of the monks was a great extra!

I only had a day and a half in Bangkok and wanted to make the most of it, and this tour looked like a good introduction to the city and to Thai food and culture, so I booked it for myself and a few friends. Our guide was Nylah, and she was amazing. Friendly, personable, funny, and full of information! We started off in a local market, where Nylah procured several samples for us to try, while walking through the market. Then it was off to our first temple stop. The temples were gorgeous at night, and Nylah knew the best spots to get photos. After that, it was dinner at Thipsamai, where we experienced pad thai at the oldest pad thai restaurant in Bangkok. The pad thai and the orange juice were incredible! Back to the tuktuk (with our awesome driver, "Victory"...who had an I <3 the 90s remix pumping and the best disco lights in town!) and a few more temple and photo op stops, including Wat Pho. Our final stop of the evening was a walk through the flower market, and then dessert and a lotus flower folding lesson in a spot overlooking the flower market. At the end of the evening, our tuktuk driver took us all the way back to our lodging, so we didn't even have to worry about figuring out how to get home. I can't recommend this tour highly enough...Nylah was an amazing guide, and it was a perfect way to learn a little about the Thai culture and food.

5 of us did this tour on Christmas day. Our Tuk Tuk drivers were great sports dressing as Santas & playing somewhat the part. Our guide Bee was very nice & knowledgeable. Having an audio guide or a way for her to communicate with all participants while riding the tuk tuks would have brought this to a whole new level.
Having some music while riding the tuk tuks would have also added to the ambience.
The food was plentiful but I would have preferred more of a "street food" experience as some of the food was had in an indoor restaurant. But this company is well run, with great communication before, during & after the tour which earned them extra points.

Dear Mjoe, Thank you for your review and we are glad you enjoyed your time with us and our Santa Tuk Tuk Drivers. We note your comment about wanting more of a "street food" experience and we do want to clarify that we have a different version of this tour that focuses on street food. For those who are looking for a street food focused night tour we recommend our "Evening Food & Tuk Tuk Adventure". For the best comparisons of the different tour options please do look at the Expique website. It is an interesting suggestion to have audio guides but we have found that they do not work that well due to background noise of tuk tuks and since we stop and get out of the tuk tuk every 5-10 minutes we do have plenty of stops for the guide to communicate. We do thank you for your feedback. Best regards Simon, Guide Bee and The Expique Team

This tour was one of the highlights of our visit to Bangkok. The communication from the tour company was excellent. We were a relatively small number of people (12 in 6 Tuk-tuk). The driving was very safe and the guide excellent.
We went through different areas of the city, starting on the West side of the city learning about its history, stopping by the Chao Phraya River and visiting the first bridge built.
Still, on the west side we visited the Khao Mo temple in Wat Prayoon. This is a beautiful and peaceful place with a perfectly cared garden and water features.
After learning about the history of the west side we went to the east side where we could see the more sophisticated side of Bangkok, driving through the avenue modeled after the Champs Elysees in Paris. We tasted some delicious street dishes before stopping for dinner at a very good Padthai restaurant for dinner. There was a line about one block long waiting to get in, but the tour had reservations and we were placed in the front of the line. The meal was delicious, as well as learning the history of Padthai in Thailand.
After dinner, we stopped by the royal palace which is so beautiful when illuminated at night and then visited the grounds of the Wat Pho temple where the first school of Thai massage and the reclining Buda is located. This was one of the most amazing parts of the tour. Visiting this temple during the daytime looks like a nice tourist attraction. At night with the temple grounds were only for ourselves, the lighting was spectacular and it really looked like a place of worship and not a tourist attraction.
The tour ended at the flower market where we had a reserved table to be served dessert, local beer or other beverage and ice creme. Each one of us was given a lotus flower and was taught how to make a special arrangement with the flower.
So in summary, traveling in Tuk-tuk is a lot of fun and every place that we visited was worth it. Very recommended tour.

We enjoyed everything about this unique experience. Our guide was Lek and she did a wonderful job. She rode with us in the tuk tuk and 3 other couples joined the tour in three other provided tuk tuks. We all caravanned around Bangkok where we enjoyed some unique street food tasting experiences. We saw famous street food chef, “Jay Fay”, whom we had previously seen featured on Netflix’s Street Food show and we had a delicious full sit down dinner at a very popular Pad Thai restaurant in Bangkok. We visited beautiful temples that were extraordinary when lit up at night. And we were fascinated to visit the massive Bangkok Flower Market which apparently operates 24/7. Lek did a masterful job of telling stories and educating us at all of the stops. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends.

We had a lovely evening and learned so much about Bangkok, Thai culture and Thai cuisine.
A fun 4 hour Tuk Tuk ride with stunning views of the city, it's tempels and markets. Our guide Nun (Noon) showd us the local side of BKK with all it's hidden tastes, colours and smells ( no worries, I meant the food and flowers:-))
An unforgetable experience thanks to our guide and tuktuk drivers! We had a great evening and enjoyed every minute of it!

JUST INCREDIBLE. I have been to Thailand and Bangkok several times since the early 1980's, I know well the culture, the people and the city as I have been on several tours over the years but this time it was special as we had all of our kids with us (a party of 7) and we wanted them to discover Bangkok and Thailand as much as possible, and I must say that this is the most amazing tour I took in the ''city of angels '' where we all learned new things, tasted new delicious street food and built on new memories for life . Our guide Boe and the Expique team provided a level of client experience that I had not seen here in the past, we were so glad with the experience that one of our child was sick and couldn't attend, with the great cooperationof Boe we were able to book within the next few days the same prvate tour of Tuk Tuk, temples and gastronomy for him and one of his brother that even if he attended a few days earlier still was able to taste new things and learned more about the Thai Culture. I would score this excursion with a BIG 10 and would always recommend Expique tour for the quality of their guides and the client experience . Like a famous song '' Don't worry be happy''

This tuk tuk tour was really good fun.
The guide was excellent, a local man who took us to the local market and told us about local life and his own personal experiences as a monk and about meditation and their way of life. It was quite fascinating.
The market snacks were safe to eat and tasty, the main course in a Michelin guide restaurant was delicious and the surprise desert and final activities were a great end to the night.
To top it off we were taken back to our hotel
I would highly recommend this tour.
