Overview
See Bangkok’s city lights and glowing temples on a Chao Phraya dinner cruise past the gorgeous Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun) and the Grand Palace. Taste a wide range of Thai dishes and desserts from a traditional buffet, with live music and entertainment to keep the evening lively. For your convenience, this Chrao Phraya dinner cruise offers the option of round-trip hotel transfers for a hassle-free night out in Bangkok.
What to Expect
Meet your driver at your hotel in central Bangkok (if option selected), or make your way to a pier on the bustling Chao Phraya waterfront.

Board a river boat that’s equipped with a comfortable dining room and open viewing decks, and watch the city lights slide by as you pull into the gentle current of the Chao Phraya River. Entertainers will kick off the night with live music and performances, but there’s plenty to see at the edge of the river, including the Temple of Dawn, which is beautifully lit after dark.

Spot the swooping, traditional rooflines of the Grand Palace, then head to the buffet to sample an array of Thai dishes and sweets. After an evening of music, Thai cuisine, and entertainment, this evening concludes at your original departure point.

Not worth it

Don't expect anything romantic. It's a 3 level boat with basically 200-300 other people on it. Table are allocated and numbered, so you can't choose where to sit. Dinner is a buffet, spread is ok. Live music is a singer trying to entertain you and...More

Not worth the money

The hotel transfer was brilliant but as soon as we arrived to the pier there was a very long wait and far too many people. We were herded like cattle out onto the pier and then onto the boat. The tables were set nicely but...More

Dear Fiona, I do regret that you did not enjoy much past the transfer to the pier. I am not sure where you made the booking, but clearly you went ahead with the reservation with incorrect (and unreasonable) expectations. You’ve written this Review in TripAdvisor...More
