I've been to Nepal a few times over the years and whenever I return I always use Happyland Treks. Bimal is one of the nicest and most helpful people you could ever meet. During my 1st time with Happyland Treks I completed Annapurna Base Camp trek and for the 2nd visit I done the Pikey Peak trek both very different but equally rewarding treks. Upon my return this year I didn't have enough time to do a trek but still wanted to see a part of Nepal that you maybe don't typically see and Bimal helped out and I decided to go along to the Gurkha Knife making course which I would highly recommend as you get to see how the knives are made the traditional way and also get to trial some of the skills out. It's a great insight to part of the culture. I would highly recommend Happyland Treks to anyone who is looking to do trekking or sightseeing in Nepal, you won't be left disappointed.

My trekking adventure to the peak of Ama Yangri was the absolute highlight of my new years trip to Nepal. I specifically sought out this company because of the glowing reviews and responsive engagement from the owner, Bimal. He did not disappoint. Bimal built a custom trip to accommodate my specific timeline while also maximizing the fun of the trekking experience. Even when there was a last minute emergency, Bimal was able to find a substitute to ensure I had a phenomenal experience. Everything from picking me up from the airport to letting me borrow a few small items I had forgotten to pack for myself, Bimal made this trip an amazing unforgettable experience. Do not hesitate. We wanted to do a day trek before committing to a longer trek. Had a great time. There were amazing views and it was a decent work-out! We opted to pay entrance fees ourselves and pay directly for the guide's time. Happy was the tour guide and he was as his name suggests and helpful too! Would recommend.

So much fun. Also help & assistance was provided swiftly for every issue. The trip is on bicycle with a professional guide. Cycling through mountains and natural areas.

(Kathmandu) Bimal is the director and we were very impressed by his knowledge and thorough understanding of what is involved as well as perceiving our needs! He is also very knowledgable about all the different potential trekking routes and options in Nepal!!! My partner and I organized the Mardi Himal trek through Bimal at Happy Land Trekking and it was such an AMAZING experience. Bimal is so friendly and easy to communicate and plan with, he is thoughtful and thinks of all the details : he sent us off with snacks, medications incase we get sick, and he even lent us gloves. He organised a wonderful guide : Karma, who was the perfect guide for us: he knew a lot about the area, was so helpful and friendly and also we enjoyed our conversations with him a lot. The trek is amazing: the views and the experience is unforgettable! I did my first trek in Nepal with Bimal in 2010 when he was beginning in the trekking industry and since then we have remained in contact and stayed friends, it’s so cool to see the awesome business he has set up. I couldn’t recommend him any higher to organize a trek or tour with, he is just so warm and friendly and I trust him 100%! He also has helped us out with other things during our stay in Nepal! The entire trip was superbly organized! From the moment we arrived in Kathmandu , then to Pokhara to start the trek- Bimal was amazing in his attention to details. The trip was well paced, accommodations were comfortable and meals were plentiful. We had a wonderful guide, Manish who was so skilled in explaining the history and local land features. He made the experience so memorable and his easy going nature was greatly appreciated.

We did a 5 day trek with my friends and I couldn't recommend it more. The views were amazing throughout the whole trek but especially at the poon hill peak. The guides were friendly and accommodating. Accommodation was generally okay with hot showers at all but one location

This was a spontaneous side trip which wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Happyland Trekking! We have always wanted to see Bhutan and are lucky to have met Happy!

We had such a fantastic time with Happyland treks!! Bimal was so helpful and welcoming to us. He helped us in Kathmandu with great restaurants and accommodation aswell as providing us with everything for our trip to Everest base camp. We stayed in lovely tea houses along the way and everyone was so friendly. Our guide Ngawang was just wow, always made sure we had enough food, water and that we felt well. Couldn't recommend Happyland enough!
