Janakpur Nepal is known for the famous for Janaki Temple (or also known as Janaki Mandir), which was once the the palace for the lovebird – Goddess Sita and Lord Rama. Janakpur is the birthplace of Goddess Sita too. We called Janakpur – city of love. A lot of couples got married at the Janaki Temple, and we believed once a couple tight the knot in Janaki Temple, they will get the blessings and will live happily together forever. Janakpur is 8 hours away travel on beutiful BP Highway Nepal, and is 226km away from Kathmandu.

          8 days / 7 nights in Nepal
My husband and I just returned from an amazing trip to India and Nepal. The 8 day/7 night tour of Nepal with Eyes on Nepal was wonderful. We were originally supposed to take the trip in 2020, but we’re not able to go because COVID was spreading so fast. Sidarttha from Eyes on Nepal helped me plan a an exciting custom itinerary for that 2020 trip so we were heartbroken that we were unable to go. I told Sidarttha that I would definitely get in touch with him if we ever had another opportunity to visit Nepal. This year we were finally able to go. As soon as we picked the dates for our trip, I contacted Sidarttha and asked him if we could do the same itinerary we planned in 2020. He responded right away and verified that the activities and hotels were still available, suggesting only a few minor changes. From the moment we arrived in Nepal, Sidarttha made sure our trip was awesome. He coordinated every detail so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. He was extremely helpful and responded right away every time had a question or request. When the airport in Pokhara closed due to inclement weather, Sidarttha took care of everything with the hotels and airline. He made sure we were on the first available flight to Pokhara in the morning so we could get there in time to go paragliding. The paragliding was an incredible experience. It was so much fun and view from above was absolutely breathtaking taking. I’m so glad Sidarttha made sure we didn’t miss it He really went above and beyond to take care of us. All of the drivers and guides Sidarttha arranged for us were wonderful. Our guide Krishna, in Kathmandu, was very thorough and knowledgeable. We learned so much about culture and religion in Nepal. It was facinating. Our guide in Pokhara was especially fun. Ram was very welcoming and enthusiastic. We could see how much he loves his country and that he really enjoys showing visitors all of the amazing things Nepal has to offer. I’ll never forget the peaceful sunset boat ride on Phewa Lake or watching the beautiful sunrise from Sarangkot. The drivers Sidarttha arranged were always punctual, the cars were comfortable and they easily navigated through the crazy traffic without terrifying us. After Pokhara, we headed to Bardiya National Park. The jeep and boat safaris were fun even though we only saw one elephant, some monkeys and some deer. We found some big tiger paw prints, but never caught sight of a tiger or rhino. When we flew back to Kathmandu we enjoyed a having a day to shop and relax before we flew home. Thanks to Eyes on Nepal, our trip was a dream come true!

          Shamanism Tour Highly Recommended
This tour was informative and insightful. Mr. Siddarth is an excellent guide, providing an informed background briefing on shamanism and expectations for the tour. He was very communicative throughout the process, answered all of our questions and gave us contacts we could follow up with post experience. He even went out of his way to arrange our visit despite the limited availability due to the Tihar festival.

Positive energy and healing experience 🙏🏻
We went to this experience today and we were blown away… We had no expectations and came away feeling incredible and really in touch with our inner energy. Not only this, the Sharman has healed some of our physical aches and made us feel much peace. I feel like this experience is not very common, I would like to encourage people to try for themselves, and this is a legit review from an Aussie middle-aged woman! Our guide was very informative and spoke to us to ensure our expectations were realistic. Thank you 🙏🏻

          A great experience.
A great experience which led to me booking a personal session a few days later which was incredible...the shaman really tapped into what I needed as the next part of my own journey.

          Excellent tour planner
Excellent tour company. Suddartha has a tremendous eye for detail and follow up. He is priced competitively and asks intelligent questions to get you the best tour. Best would be to consider all options when booking a tour. He organized a wonderful trip for me to Chitwan. I will recommend him to my friends

          Not your typical tourist experience!
I met my guide prior to walking to the Shaman. We had a long and interesting conversation about Shamanism, culture, religion and other related topics. Siddhartha the guide was very knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. We walked to the small temple, where I was lucky enough to watch a ceremony preformed by the woman Shaman and her apprentices, expelling bad energy out of a local woman. I also had a one-on-one session with the Shaman, which was quite personal and moving. If you're into cultural aspects that are not your typical tourist attraction - I highly recommend this experience.

Wonderful Experience with Eyes on Nepal
Excellent services provided by Mr. Siddharth. He takes the client trips personally and ensures that he meets client requirements. I went with my 86 year old grandmother and with 9 month old baby. Siddharth did everything what I asked for to make my trip enjoyable, existing and memorable. They are very budget friendly as well. Highly recommend him

          Highly recommend amazing trip
Siddhartha has done a great job organising our trip very well and tailor-making our trip to fit our interests. Response time is very quick, when our flight is moved early, he can arrange driver pick up earlier in short notice and start our trip earlier. Also arranged our itinerary to help us save time on the road. Ghattaraj is absolutely outstanding. Very informative and friendly. Did not only give textbook information but also shared a lot about culture, customs and tradition so we learnt a lot about people's values, habits and superstitions that are not easily found online. Also arranged a couple of out of scope activities when time allows. Started as tour guide but ended as friends! Ramchandra is very friendly and is great at making amazing atmosphere. He knew we like to indulge in local cultures so brought us to join the locals in dancing and playing games with them in the village. Also offered to pay for a more expensive boat ride for us on his own expense. Good relationship with many local businesses so we were allowed in places with good spots with ease. Raj is very knowledgeable in Buddhism, which makes him the perfect guide for Lumbini. He studied Buddhism so he could answer many of my questions and offered meditation tips. We had long deep conversations about wisdom and life under the Bodhi tree! Drivers are very professional and saved us lots of time. Also good at driving on bumpy roads which made our journey smooth.

          Perfect trip
Highly recommended! Siddartha organized everything wonderful for us, our stay in Nepal was perfect. Before the trip we discussed the plan, all our ideas and wishes were taken into account. Even when we encountered problems with the flight home (not dependent on the agency) they helped us at night and responded to our every request, it was great. We made city sightseeing, Mardi Himal trekking an and Chitwan. Thank you one more time, hope to back soon.

Australian base camp trekking day tour from Pokhara
Booked this tour through Klook and was assigned Ram as our guide. Ram was very experienced and gave good advices before our trip. He also took care of our needs during the hike. Ram took us to nice spot for phototaking and also answered our questions along the way. We had a great time thanks to him. Highly recommended tour if you are in Pokhara.

Day Hike to Australian Base Camp from Pokhara
Ram was a great tour guide to have on our trip! We really enjoyed the hike up to the Australian Base Camp of Annapurna and all the sights we saw. Thanks for providing us with hiking gear like the poles, it really helped us out! Will look for you again when we come back to Pokhara (and maybe try a more challenging hike?) hahaha!

It's a long drive there but totally worth it as it takes you through gorgeous scenery with stunning views. And if you like India, you like Janakpur. This was a great tour with an excellent driver, Laxmor, and a fantastic guide, Krishna, who is super friendly, attentive and professional. Great food and lots of little extra unexpected stuff. All in all a great experience, expertly organised by Siddhartha.
