Nagarkot
Strolling through the little villages was so nice. People starting their day, taking care of the animals, very sweet. Beautiful temples and plenty of time to rake it slow. My guide was great company.

Nargakot sunrise & trek
We are so glad that we booked this trip. Everything was exactly as promised and we couldn‘t have asked for a better guide. We were picked up at our hotel and driven to Nargakot to see the beautiful sunrise, had some breakfast at the Paradise Villa and started on the trek through tiny villages to the Hindu Tempel of Changu Narayan. There was always a car nearby had we wished to shorten our trek. Thank you to our wonderful guide Badur who couldn‘t have been friendlier and looked after us very well. Definitely a trip to remember!

We are excited about your arrival in Nepal and hope we able to bring more travelers to Nepal. Have a wonderful trip ahead and looking forward to seeing you shortly after your long holiday. Stay safe and Good Luck!

Great hiking experience in Kathmandu!
Feb 2021 • Couples
We loved our first hiking experience in Nepal. Nabaraj reached out to us as soon as we booked the trip and communicated well beforehand, answering all our questions. Our guide, Shishir, was very informative and welcoming. He told us all about Nepal history, culture, food, language, and geography. The sunrise view from the Nagarkot tower was beautiful. It was fun to see the sun suddenly rising like a little ball over the mountain. It was foggy out so we couldn't completely see all the mountain ranges but Langtang looked really cool with the sun hitting the top peak. We enjoyed a big breakfast with a nice view of the valley. The hike down the hill through the villages was really peaceful, and Shishir seemed to know and greet all the villagers. We liked the second part of the hike through the jungle/forest as well until we finally reached the Changunarayan temple. The temple carvings and history was really interesting. The car ride and driver were very good as well. I definitely recommend this hiking experience!

Lovely trek all downhill ;-)
Mar 2020 • Friends
The transportation will bring you to the highest point, and from there walk downhill all the time (except 20min up, easy trek), passing by small villages and some temples.
What could be improved: for the coffee break/breakfast at the start of the trek (at your on expense, obviously) could have been in a restaurant with an impressive view, instead of the so-so place they chose. As a positive, the restaurant restroom was very clean. The guide was a 10!! friendly, acknowledged and adapted his walking speed to our condition. He also does longer treks in the Anapurna range, so he was great to talk to!

Highlight of my Kathmandu Trip
Mar 2020
I spent 3 days touring Kathmandu City and Kathmandu Valley with Himalayan Planet Tours. They were a wonderful group to see this city and area with. This tour was my FAVOURITE. After the hustle and bustle of the city it was wonderful to go out to Nagarkot for the Sunrise view - we were lucky and had quite a lovely view of the Himalayas though clouds kept Everest hidden ! It was a beautiful view - especially watching the light change on the mountains. Then we hiked 3-4 hours through the countryside and small towns to the UNESCO world heritage site Changu Narayan Temple. Like all the sites here - it was beautiful and a reward after a lovely hike ! I also really liked the cafes outside (great lassis) and quaint shopping area with Thangka Art School (must see) at the top of the hill... wonderful and full day !! I specifically want to commend my driver ( Suman T) who kept my possessions safe while I toured and allowed me to feel safe in an area of thousands of hectic drivers!! My wonderful tour guide (Som B) shared a wealth of knowledge over 3 days and always answered my questions fully. These two were a great team who always arrived early and ensured my safe return at the end of each day - they went above and beyond. Special Note: I was touring when the Virus CoV19 changed the world and this team and the CEO of the Himalayan Planet (Nabaraj T) assisted getting me out of the country amid chaos and confusion. They went above and beyond providing me assistance. KNOW you are in GOOD HANDS when you tour with this company ! I would also suggest any travellers still in Nepal use this group to get yourselves out... I understand they are not doing tours during this crisis but I am sure you could pay them to assist you in exiting Nepal... if anyone can do it they can !

Enjoyable excursion
Mar 2020
I only had one free day during my most recent visit to Kathmandu, wanted to get out of the dust and pollution and Nagarkot hike seemed like a good option. I am happy to say I got what I was looking for - timely pickup (5 am), perfect day with blue sky and really beautiful mountain vistas, lovely sunrise, and a really nice hike through several villages, forests and some cultural sites; very enjoyable, memorable day. My guide, Madan, was really good - knowledgeable but not excessively talkative, made my experience all that much better.

Easy hike, very interesting tour
We love the tour! The tour starts at 5am in the morning, but it’s worth.
You will have the chance to see the sunrise surrounding by mountains. It’s stunning! Then we did a easy hike, on the way you would get a close up with how local people live and daily activities.
We skipped our breakfast as we had some food on the car, so the guide was very flexible and willing to have a short stop in Bhaktapur.

Recommended to everyone who is coming to Nepal
