Shanti was excellent! She answered every question and was friendly, attentive and thoughtful. The transport was equally good. Driver was skilled and also friendly!

What a fabulous tour. Absolutely worth it. The view from the cable car up and down overlooking the valley and the mountains was majestic. The tour guide Ananta and the driver Gagan were both excellent. Ananta gave an amazing tour when we visited Bhaleswar Mahadev Temple. Highly recommend!!

Pankaj was an excellent tour guide on providing background on the cable car, temple, and statue at the peak of the mountain. He was helpful in answering cultural and historical questions about Kathmandu and the rest of Nepal. He was also a great photographer for our tourist pictures and knew the best places in the area for a photo opportunity.

This tour really surprised me and opened my eyes to their culture and background of Hindu and buddhism. Guide is very respectful and knowledgeable, will take you to the most beautiful and interesting places of heritage in nepal. You will learn all about the different religions and traditions of culture shown amongst the people. Having a driver and the tour guide was amazing knowing the timings and secret areas to see the best spots. Would really recommend taking the opportunity to experience how people worship and learn the different ways of this country and the people. Thank you 🙏🏻

This tour was outstanding! I was picked up at my hotel and we traveled in a very nice car to this famous Hindu pilgramage site. My guide, Shanti is an experienced and certified guide with a masters degree to back her deep knowledge. Shanti speaks English fluently and shared much about the Hindu religion, the different gods, and Nepal life. I truly enjoyed the tour and appreciated the deep history and explanation provided. We did a quick spin at the surrounding market which helped merge the religion with everyday life. So fun!!!!!!

Kabita was SO knowledgeable of the Neplalese history, it was fascinating to listen her recite all she knew about her home and the ancient history she possessed. She was caring, considerate and always made the day about me and what I wanted. She was very accommodating. The driver was lovely and had a very clean car. I couldn’t recommend Kabita enough! 5 stars

Such a great morning! Ananta was an amazing guide, with lots of knowledge, a very friendly and happy outlook. He wanted to make the day perfect for me and he absolutely delivered. The trip was awesome and filled with historical tutorials from the guide. He was interactive and extremely personal. I couldn’t recommend Ananta enough!

We were a group of 3 people (with one super senior citizen) who spent an afternoon in Chandragiri Hills as a half-day trip from Kathmandu. The team at Himalayan Planet Adventures were extremely professional with a timely pickup at our hotel, helping arrange a wheelchair for my grandmother for the entirety of the trip and even taking her around especially up the steep climb to the top of the mountain. Our guide Anantha was a god sent, extremely courteous, helped us take my grandmother in the wheelchair both in the cable car and also around the area. He was knowledgeable about the history of the Chandragiri attraction and also the Bhaleswor Mahadev temple. I couldn’t have done it without his help 🙏 Overall the trip from pickup to drop took around 5 hours and a memorable one. What stands out is how senior friendly it is which is a rarity across Khatmandu. Thanks a ton again to Anantha for giving us the gold standard treatment.

Pankaj was a great tour guide teaching us many things about the Nepalese culture and Hinduism. He generously shared about his personal life story and made us feel connected to him. We were able to get a special blessing and make a wish at the temple. And, we saw many magnificent views of the Kathmandu valley. This was our third tour with Himalayan Planet Adventures.
