The Annapurna Circuit trek covers everything an ambitious trekker would want from a trek in the Himalayas- lovely lowland farms and villages, high mountainous scenery, cultural diversity, and an exciting pass crossing.
The trek begins from a historical city Kathmandu. From Kathmandu, we get on a scenic drive to the Marsyangdi valley. From here, we head to the northern side of the Annapurna Massif. All through the trek, you can witness the stunning panoramas of giants like Manaslu and the Annapurnas.
We shall reach the high point of the trip after a demanding climb to the Thorung La (5416m) on the north side of the Annapurnas. The rewards of the climb are remarkable views of the Himalayan snow-capped peaks.
After making it through the pass, we shall move downwards into the deep valley of the Kali Gandaki. At the base of the pass, the valley is home to an uncanny collection of temples located in Muktinath.
