Fantastic safari. Our guide, John Bosco, was fantastic. From the pick up at our hotel till our return was very helpful and full awarded of everything. We saw all the big five plus a leopard sleeping in a tree. Fantastic day!

An unforgettable safari experience! Despite booking last minute, Emmanuel contacted me promptly with my drivers contact and pick up information which made everything seamless. John Bosco came bright and early and was an incredible guide! His kindness, deep knowledge, and skill in spotting animals made the tour exceptional. He was able to answer all my questions, take my photos, and even manage to keep in touch with other guides in the park to ensure we didn’t miss a single sighting. He even brought binoculars to ensure I could see the wildlife closer. This truly went above and beyond my expectations to make the day exceptional. We had a coffee stop on our way to the park, and lovely lunch that were a nice touch too! Overall, this was a great day and I Highly thank John Bosco and Univerisal Ventures Rawanda for an stress-free and memorable adventure!

I was in Rwanda for a business trip and had the pleasure of being served by this chauffeur-driven rental company. The driver assigned to us was Mr. Dieudonn Hagenimana who was extremely competent and very pleasant. Always punctual, ordinary and respectful of the road rules, I had a great time with him.

We had a fantastic day visiting Akagera with Christian and Universal Ventures. My partner and I were on a work trip to Kigali and only had a very short time for fun but the guys at UV were extremely accomodating to our schedule. The tour itself was great - Akagera is a beautiful park and Christian, our guide, made every effort to ensure that we saw the best it had to offer - the animals were nicely nonchalant about our presence. Lunch was delicious and the trip to and back was a nice bonus as we got to see a good part of the Eastern Province of Rwanda. All in all a perfect day - thank you Christian and thanks UV.

Our recently safari experience in Rwanda was amazing , we did the one day akagera safari from Kigali, the drive to the park was smoothly with a stopover for coffee testing and stretching our legs, the safari was beyond our expectations, we saw a lot and big group of wild animals, our guide was knowledgeable and professional for his guiding carrier, we can't ask a better experience than what we got with this company, Thank you universal to make our day memorable and enjoyable. we highly recommend this safari to any one wish or plan to visit Rwanda.

My colleagues and I did a full day safari in Akagera, it was so excited with all of us, we sow Animals from the park entrance to the exit, we have been lucky to have Kennett as our guide for a full day, his professional, kindness and patience is top notch, he deserve 100% . What a fantastic trip! We saw tons of animals and were able to get really close. My guide Nzirorera was a very careful driver, I felt safe the entire time. He went out of his way to make sure we found all the best spots and I was able to see all the animals I expected. The stop for lunch was at a nice lodge inside the park and it was delicious.

This was one of the best experiences of my life. I felt very safe the entire time. We had many escorts to ensure we found the gorillas, didn't get lost, and new how to react to the gorillas. Everything was well organized and the Gorillas were amazing! We got so close to them.

Even if it' an expansive activity it' also well worth it, My wife and I had incredible one day gorilla safari experience just 3 hours drive from Kigali, The pick up time was early in the morning and drove to volcanoes national park for our safari, it was amazing adventure hiking to the home of gorillas and was some thing funny, the place is sleeper and a bit step, after 40 minutes hike we meat the giants gorillas and it was a best sightseeing in my life, This is the top experience to do in Rwanda, Then after we enjoyed so delicious lunch in local restaurant and hit the road back to Kigali. our day was amazing and unforgettable, Thank you universal team to plan the best safari for us.

Amazing safari tour in akagera national park Rwanda , my colleague booked the tour just 1 day before our arrival in Kigali, we have been picked up from airport early morning and direct head to akagera for a safari, we were a bit tired with long flight journey but when we started the game safari it was a way to relax and refreshment, we sow different kind of wild animals, the list is long but i can give some names: Buffalo, elephant, impala, baboons, crocodile, hippos, Rhinos, giraffe, birds,......................., the lunch inside the park was good too with amazing views, the park is super naturally beautiful, we have really like the service provided with this company, we can't wait to recommend this tour and will book some thing else with them once we are back in Rwanda. We have spent best time in Rwanda, it was a tree days stay and we have been able to do some tourism activities including the city tour and akagera safari provided by universal Rwanda, the company owner was a good dealer, through his recommendations we have definitely decided to book and travel with them, we had more than five companies on our list but finally universal won the game hhhh, Kigali city tour and safari were amazing experience and it' a key random to know Rwanda for the first time you are in this beautifully country, we had chance to travel with john one of the best tour guide from universal, the man was so kind, skilled, professional, accommodative and flexible to make our plans even better, we will come back and use their service again, highly recommend the 2 days safari with universal.

What should’ve been an easy tour turned into an anxiety, stressful ridden nightmare! This is my experience travelling with Universal Ventures Rwanda. I received a random WhatsApp message asking me to confirm my booking, after a few back and forward messages I realised that they said we’d be 3 pax on the day. This wasn’t right as very clearly it says PRIVATE tour, nobody else except your party will travel on the day. This was extremely poor communication as they didn’t explain this whatsoever and made me feel like it was my fault that I was even clarifying what was going on. After realising their mistake they offered us an “upgraded” car with the open rooftop. This turned out to be good in some ways but awful in others. For example when driving along the windows all had to be down as smoke enters the car from underneath the passenger side front seat, the driver even commented on it and said the windows have to be down. Although we didn’t ask for the ac to be turned on this meant that we pretty much felt gassed out by the sheer amount of pollution coming into the vehicle. Everytime he hit the gas to accelerate the amount of thick black smoke coming out of the engine was horrendous and definitely not environmentally friendly! The final straw was getting food poisoning, I hadn’t eaten anything else the night before or that morning and then being told that it was your own choice is appealing customer service. The chicken was definitely not chicken, no idea what meat it was but it was disgusting. My overall experience with these cowboys makes me never want to come to Rwanda and I definitely wouldn’t recommend them to any traveller wanting an easy, stress-free tour. They are aggressive, argumentative and don’t deserve the business, as you’ll no doubt see from their reply!!
