my husband booked this tour for me in Adisababa Ethiopia, because he didn’t want me just sitting around a hotel. First of all the tour did not show up. I waited in front of the hotel for one hour finally went back up to the room to search for a contact number. Viator does not print local contact numbers on their payment receipt so I had to dig in search, dig and search. One hour later I finally came across a local number. Two hours now has gone by from a pick up time. While speaking with the local representative I had invoked a refund option on this tour. He says he got that email and he wanted or suddenly demanded that I pay him in US dollars when he comes to pick me up I protestant and told him I wasn’t paying a one cent more to him. He did, however, finally show up and picked me up , we went out of town to next town where he handed me off to a driver who was actually going to do the tour. That’s when I realized that I was the only person on this tour I am a small female from US in middle of Africa, being handed off to a strange man. This made me really uneasy. the only good thing about this tour is that the driver who actually did a tour was a super nice man he did the best he could with a last minute notice. I gave him a hefty tip. I do NOT recommend Viator for any African tours. Buyerbe aware, especially if you’re a woman.

Yousef was very knowledgable and hospitable. We got to see the entire city in a day, and he was able to give us great recommendations for good food and coffee (of course!) spots. We were grateful to have him as our guide.

Excellent day with Becki! The Ethiopian countryside was so beautiful and we saw the gelada baboons! The Blue Nile and gorge were absolutely fantastic!

The tour operator does not shows up!!! I have called to the company before finish the booking here to confirm if it was possible to make the tour in the day after, the company owner have confirmed by phone, I proceed the booking and he stop to respond my calls and message, do not show in the hotel and to request a refund from this site you must call to USA! Its a tourist trap, do not book with this company nor from this site!

I traveled to Ethiopia on my own and while I was there I decided to purchase Simien Image Tour & Travel's "Hawassa and Rift Valley Lakes – Two Days Tour." I had difficulties with paying because I was new to experience of financial transactions in Ethiopia, being it was my first time visiting, and my bank in America was having issues with processing some transactions. Alexander Kemal was extremely patient with me and eventually everything was worked out. The morning of the tour's first day the driver was prompt with picking me up from the hotel and we were off. When he told me we were doing to get my tour guide I nonchalantly thought to myself "for what reason!" I wasn't concerned about having a tour guide, just getting to Hawassa and seeing what was on the way there. To my surprise Candy Walker, my tour guide, was an excellent guide. She is very knowledgeable on the history and various cultures of Ethiopia, therefore I learned a lot in two days. Buze, the driver, was the perfect driver for this road trip and was fabulous DJ! He knew all the scenic stops, all the best foods to order whenever we ate, where to get the best buna in Shashamene, and he's even a decent dancer while driver. I saw and experienced way more than I thought I would and I am eternally thankful that I happened to call the business that day. One business transaction, and a two day tour was enough to establish the foundation for a several friendships that I am appreciative of. I will definitely be recommending your business to any and everyone.

Beautiful country, so much to see and to do. We booked this day trip with Simien images tour and travel it was a refreshing most pleasant trip. We enjoyed our vacation and for sure will be back.

We had an amazing day trip to the Debre Libanos Monastery, the place has so much history, and we drive to the Portuguese bridge and Blue Nile gorge and it was so beautiful, we really enjoyed the view so much.

We have an amazing half day tour with Simen image tour and travel, the took us to amazing part the city and visited everything listed on the itinerary, and we had a great Ethiopian coffee at Tomoca and it was so amazing.

We have traveled to the Bishoftu and visited 3 beautiful lakes and they were so amazing the bird life was so surprising, we take a bout trip on the lakes which was so much fun. It really was a great day we spent there.

Ohh,I have no words to Express my feeling after I finished my tour in Ethiopia.its weather ,peoples,culture and every tng was un expected.it was the most critical time of my life with this travel agent,there was no complicated situation,simple and understandable.

The food tour was one of my highlights of my stay in Ethiopia. The food was great, at authentic, off the beaten path restaurants that you won't find in a touristic guides. The driver and guides were professional. They were both very well informed about Addis and Ethiopia which also makes it a perfect way to learn and get ideas about what to do and see during your stay. I will definitely recommend to everyone who love to taste Ethiopian local dishes.
