You will be seen by the guide Gerard for a short briefing at your hotel/guesthouse the evening before the tour (the timing is agreed after the booking over the e-mail with Gerard). You will be able to discuss what is necessary to bring on tour and other details described below.
The meeting point for the tour is by the helicopter pad near the entrance to L'Union Estate Park. The tour will start at 8.30am, and then you will be transferred by transport to Grande Anse beach where the actual walking starts. The group will walk alongside the coast mostly in the rocky area for about 1-1.5 hours (depends on the pace of a group) till you reach Anse Marron beach. In the most demanding parts Gerard will be available to help you make your way through. You will get a chance to learn about the flora and fauna of Seychelles from Gerard all along your way during your tour. Once you reach Anse Marron beach, you'll have some relaxing time on the beach - about 1-1.5 hours. The time spent on Anse Marron beach depends on the sea tide level, as Gerard will plan the movement of the group according to it. Also, depending on the sea tide, you'll have a chance to swim/bathe in the little lagoon in front of Anse Marron beach. Then you will be served light lunch prepared by Gerard at the site (salad, fruits, bread), After you'll continue walking mostly in the forest and on the beaches for about 1.5-2 hours, and at the certain part of the route in water till you reach Anse Source d'Argent beach.
Then you'll have a choice of staying on the beach and finishing your tour day (there is a fruit juice bar to get a refreshing glass) or walking back with Gerard towards the helicopter pad back to the meeting point where the tour started. On the way you'll have a chance to visit L'Union Estate Park (national park fees are to be paid upon exiting the park, not included in the tour price), or walking alongside the beach (if the sea tide level allow) till you reach the initial meeting point.
