We met Hamid in the market and saw him several times throughout our time there. He was incredibly kind and helpful, spoke great English, and did not ask for anything in return. Hamid is knowledgeable, punctual and polite. I had some mixed experience with other tour guides in Tangier previously, but Hamid shines as a golden standard of a local guide in Morocco. He is as happy to talk about culture, politics and history of Tangier as about its food and goods, and will happily share his knowledge and experience. He seems to know everyone and has access everywhere. You will be lucky to spend time with him as he is an 8th generation Tangerine and it just doesn’t get more local than that!

What an incredible whirlwind day we had in Tangier with Hamid! While visiting Spain our family decided to make a day trip to Tangier, and we are so glad we did. Hamid was recommended to us by dear friends and we are so thankful. It was a long day but so interesting and fun. We took the 9am ferry from Tarifa and were met by Hamid at the port, ready to go! He introduced us to the driver and helped us into a Mercedes limo-van (2 rows of 3 seats facing each other). Off we went to the outskirts of the city... a special stop at the local horse barn for me, photos at Perdicaris Park, a beautiful walk down to the lookout at Cap Spartel, a short camel ride on the coast, through Tangier's version of Beverly Hills, and back into the old city. Hamid was quick to respond to all our needs (water, bathrooms), questions, and interests, and was full of information and intriguing facts about Tangier and Morocco. We learned so much and saw so much to love about Tangier. We walked up to the Kasbah and then all around the Medina. Had a delicious lunch (I don't have the name of the restaurant, but I am happy to report none of us had any tummy issues, so it was definitely a good choice), then did a bit of shopping (no pressure though!) and finally had to head back to the port just in time for a few quick photos with Hamid before our 1700 ferry. We will never forget our day in Tangier, and now we want to see more of Morocco! We hope to see you again Hamid! Thank you so much for an amazing day!

We enjoyed spending the day with Bashir. We learned a great deal about life in Tangier, enjoyed spending time in Casbah, camel ride on the beach was excellent. We stopped for lunch and food was excellent, just little touristy and LOUD

Ben was extremely knowledgeable about Tangier and we enjoyed a well organized, diverse day including authentic meal, camel ride, a walk through the interesting neighborhoods and markets of Kasba and Medina and much more. We did a fantastic tour with Bachir arranged by Hamid. They were both so knowledgeable and showed us around Tangier as well as Asilah. I would recommend this tour for all the cruisers as it was a small group and much more intimate than the massive tours of 20-30 people provided by the cruise ships.

Mr Hamid is such a nice man. He is very knowledgeable and kind. I must add that he is also very patient, and gave us ample amount of time to take pictures and did not rush us. If you are in Tangier, you should definitely book him. You will not regret it!

Hamid was a great guide. He (and his driver) showed our group of 3 all over Tangier in a comfortable van. We felt safe and comfortable the whole time. Hamid seemed to know everyone in Tangier, whether we were in the casbah, Medina, park, or beach area. My son especially liked the short (included) camel ride. Hamid easily answered all of our questions and his knowledge and love of Tangier was supreme. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Hamid.

We visited Tanger for a few hours by ferry from tarifa port (spain). We booked Hamid a day earlier and when we reached Tanger he was waiting for us at the port; Punctual, polite, knowledgeable and fun. He showed us the main attractions, such as kasabah fortress and old town, and took us around town in a very nice van and with an excellent driver. My wife and I have traveled the world and have taken many many tours. This was by far the best tour we have ever taken. Our tour guide "Larry" was just phenomenal. We felt so fortunate to have him as a tour guide. His extensive knowledge of Tangier and it's history combined with his passion and willingness to share is unparalleled. His English is flawless (very important) Tangier was very busy and we could see that Larry showed us much more than the other tours that were happening around us. He knew where to stop for pics and even took pics of us frequently. He knew where to go and seemed to anticipate our every need. The itinerary is quite extensive and he guided us seamlessly thru it all. Ocean, Camel Rides, Hercules Cave, Casbah, Medina, Old Town, etc. Larry knew it all. It was obvious that he was well respected amongst the people and shopkeepers we passed. We were able to save a lot of time by not waiting in long lines. For example, he saw 2 buses at the camel ride and said let's see the cave first and then those should be gone by the time we get back. Smart! He knew the house where Mick Jagger lived! No other tours saw that for sure. I could go on about how excellent Larry was but will leave it at this. Take this tour and hopefully you will be lucky to get Larry like we were!

Hamid was a great tour guide. His English was excellent and he was able to explain a great deal. It was great with the whole family specially, our 12 year-old son. He was very responsive to our needs. Very knowledgeable and friendly.

Excellent tour from Hamid who felt like a friend as soon as we met him. Comfortable air conditioned mini bus provided the perfect transport. Camel ride was so much fun and the highlight. Very informative. Lovely lunch in authentic Moroccan restaurant. All in all can't recommend enough. So sad to have to leave Tangier so soon.
