A much longer trip (10h) than expected with a scam. Nice views though:)
Positives: -amazing views, Ourika Valley was really special. Also the views from the waterfall hike were amazing. Feeding monkeys was nice also! Negatives: - The tour was much much longer than stated in the description. It was from 9-19 (we were with the first and last pickup with most people from the Medina/Jemaa el Fnaa). We expected a ”lighter” halfday tour from the description but it ended up taking all of our time and energy that day. - The description of the tour stops are inaccurate. The description mentions a herb garden, that didnt happen. We stopped at a beautiful viewpoint, at an Argan Oil collective/”Pharmacy”, a berber village ”showroom/house”, we stopped to feed some cute monkeys, lunch at Ourika Valley (it was pretty cold, outside in +7C for 3 hours in december even with proper clothing, some people in out group were definitely not prepared for the chilly mountain climate compared to +17C in Marrakech and were freezing with shorts/hoodies; the argan oil place nor berber showroom were not heated either so equally freezing temperatures there). Then we took the hike to see 2 waterfalls before heading back home. -The hike was pretty long and challenging, full of steps and some slippery and difficult places. Our mountain guide was very helpful with assisting us, but I think the hike is a bit difficult for an average person, especially if you are a bit older, or not used to similar hikes. So keep that in mind. We made it but with ended up with aching knees after hike (and we are average healthy persons 30-40years old) -Despite selecting the option for guided tour and showing our booking that clearly stated guided tour (that only exluded the lunch price), our driver kept on insisting that the mountain guides fee was not included and that we had to pay him. Several people through different methods of booking (one couplr booked through their hotel and another family throught booking.com if I remeber correclty) says they also paid for all-but-lunch-included-set but the driver was adamant. He and the mountain guide agreed that the driver would pay before thr hike, but after hike tried (now for the 2nd time) to get us to pay for an extra fee and deal with the issue through tripadvisor/whoever we booked through. Felt like a scam, and in the end I believe some people paid under his pressure and some did not. So pretty views and nice unique places and nature. Wear really really warm clothes if you are doing the tour in the winter, we were spending around 8 hours in +7C in december. Sad for the drivers scam (Yousef) and imo the trip description vs reality could match better, especially regarding the length.

A bunch of conmen and robbers
Hello, I had a horrible experience today and the service provider has conned and forced money out of me. I booked for 3 adults and 2 children. In the booking space on Booking.com, there was space for 3 adults which I paid £31.81 promptly. The children under 13 years were to be free and no payment was to be made. On arrival at the bus with the family, I was forced (at technically gunpoint) to make a payment of another MAD200 (£20) for the two children who were below 13 years old and who were meant to be free. No receipt was issued to me for this payment. Not only that, there was no guided tour service at the destination, the family were just dropped off with no lead and told to wander across the town with no guidance. I could have done this trip at far less cost if it was just to come to Essaouira and wander about for 3 hours.

          Do it by yourself
This was awful. Don't do it. Spend a bit extra and do a private trip or a small group. The drive is 3.5 hours. We went in a the most uncomfortable minibus driven by the moodiest driver in the whole of Morocco. The guide at the falls was awesome. it is a beautiful place and a must visit site.

Ouzoud falls a long but very worthwhile trip.
The trip was amazing and the guide was particularly good with mature and disabled people, me being one of them. He altered the trip slightly to make it more enjoyable for me. He was very friendly and oversaw the entire group seamlessly. It was a mixture of nationalities and ages but the guide was well prepared. Everywhere stated 500 steps to the bottom but it was actually more like 600, hence my 4/5 rating. On the way the driver was careful, driving at a comfortable moderate speed. The guide was there to greet us and show us toilet facilities prior to the descent. Halfway down we encountered a group of monkeys and nuts were available to buy to feed them. We also viewed the falls from up high and the first sight was spectacular. We continued down through the stepped alleyways where there was an abundance of shops and stalls selling their wares. At the bottom we had a short wait until we stepped onto our boats and the oarsman took us onto the small lake over to the cascading waterfalls. He allowed us all a turn on the boat and really deserved a gratuity for his hard work. It was a wonderful experience. We then went up the steps to the first restaurant onto their high terrace to continue seeing the fabulous views. I had a vegetable tagine and unfortunately it was overcooked, bland with no spices and no liquid. Just three veg. The little starter salad was nice and it was fresh oranges with cinnamon for dessert but we forewent that so I could proceed the ascent without keeping people waiting, it was a set meal and included water and bread. We passed the monkeys again and returned to the bus. The driver drove with a vengeance on the return journey throwing everyone on the bus around and it was scary at times. We did arrive back in one piece though, overall a worthwhile trip.

          Brilliant experience
The views were amazing. Our guide Karim, was really nice and knowledgeable. The waterfalls were spectacular. A lot of steep steps, so if you can't do steps, then it's not for you. Definitely book the boat trip tho.

          Beautiful cascades
The trip was really enjoyable and fun. Abdul, our guide made sure that we were always understanding everything, making jokes and telling us interesting facts. Overall I recommend the trip!

Paid, confirmed, never showed up, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, their response - these things happen.
We purchased and paid for a round trip airport transfer with Easy Transfers. Arriving in Marrakech, we received confirmation, and our driver was waiting. He didn't not help us with our luggage nor was he friendly in any manner- ok bad day maybe. Arriving to the medina he said ok you walk now. It was almost midnight and we had no clue where we were going. We were told he would bring us to our Riad, eventually he did and of course he asked for more money. (Welcome to Morocco) The best came for our return trip when Selma sent rude WhatsApp messages about the delays in responding with our Riad address for the next morning (sorry Selma we were on a flight) and then we received a lecture that the driver would not wait for more than 5 mins. We confirmed again later that day to ensure the driver would be at the Riad at 430am and received verbal and written confirmation and Google map verification. 425am we were waiting, 430 waiting and calling after 8 phone calls and no answer from anyone at Easy Transfers we were panicking. No taxi in sight either. Our riad is frantically calling taxis and finally found one at 445am. We missed our flight out of Morocco and had to pay $500 for new plane tickets to catch the next flight in Paris to make it back to the US for Thanksgiving. We have been in contact with Easy Transfers and they have said these things happen. What? Are you kidding? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT SHOW UP ON TIME. ARE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. SAVE YOURSELF MONEY, TIME, AND HEADACHES

          Basic and very enjoyable experience.
Basic trip but excellent vfm. Air-conditioned transport to Palm Grove (new mini bus), good admin support (replies to queries received within minutes), animals looked well cared for, very personable host and guide. Long enough ride around the local area, with Hamid and Abdul, to enjoy the camel riding experience without numbing the backside. Fun couple of serene hours away from the hustle-bustle of the Medina. Would recommended to anyone.

Use someone else! You definitely don't need a tour guide for this one.
Ended up doing the tour alone. Agreed meet up time was 12-13:00. I arrived a little before 12pm. I messaged to confirm I was there. I heard nothing back by 12:30pm. I called, no answer. Finally called back at 1pm to reschedule for 3pm!!!!! I just went on the walk myself, got offers from tour guides there for a full tour between 50-100Dhm, but it was easy enough to read online and DIY.

Tour, guide, views and food all exceptional.
A lovely day traveling up to view ouzoud falls. It's truly stunning and worth the long trip and climb. I had done this excursion once before and wanted to share the experience with my new husband. The guide was excellent, especially as I managed to leave my inhaler behind and it was extremely hot. The stop for food was better than previous, a gorgeous restaurant and delicious food with stunning views. Was a shame there was no rainbow over the falls but can hardly blame them for the weather! It would have been a 5 star review except for the drop off where our names were called out so we got off, only to discover we were on the wrong side of Marrakech! It would have been an extremely long walk had we not had money for the 15 minute taxi ride!

          Ourika Day Trip
The pickup was 20 minutes late. We were not taken to the Setti Fatwa waterfall which was included in the tour itinerary. Our guide Hussein was warm and friendly.

We normally book excursions via tour operator TUI. This time we chose to book this excursion directly. This certainly did not detract from the quality or experience and it was even cheaper. The contact with the provider was excellent. We were pre-informed about the pick-up place and time. The transfers went well (incl. breaks). Ouzoud itself was great. Beautiful surroundings. Another nice thing about the excursion was the presence of locals. They surprised us with beautiful dives from the rock wall near the waterfalls. Also a word of thanks to the guide. Excellent guidance and fluent in several languages.

          Good Trip
We didnt book this direct we booked using TUI app. Booking was easy and had confirmation fro TUI and the tour operators (easy transfers) within 10minutes Had whatsapp messages confirming pickup time from hotel and drive was prompt. Stopped in the town and swapped to bigger minibus who was waiting for the two smaller pickup minibuses. Journey was long but was told in description when booking of this. On route we stopped at local service statiom for refreshments which was nice and resonable priced. Did the same on route back. When we arrived was met by guide who was informative and spoke several languages. Wouldnt recommend the trip for anyone with mobility due to steep incline and 100’s steps (500 to be precise) guide was helpful and stopped when needed for photo ops and refreshments. Gave 4* due to booking trip with boat ride but actually being made to pay extra for this when there but it was good. Didnt get much time (10mins precise) for any swimming when told it would be around 45mins so little disappointed. Stopped for lunch which was 230MAD (£20) for two including 2cokes. On way back up was given oppurtunity to see monkeys and was told by guide there was no obligation to pay for pictures if someone took them or offered ro take them. Monkeys was good and paing a little for the fruit and nuts was worth the pictures. Would recommend the trip.
