We went on a tour with our guide Rachid and it was one of the best trips we have ever made as a family, all because of Rachid and his immense knowledge of Marrakech. He knew exactly where to take us and which spots to visit. It was because of him that we got to see Marrakech so closely and do all the major activities in the span of 2 days. From the minute you meet Rachid, who came to our Riad, you know you are in the company of a knowledgable historian and an absolute gentleman. A medina native, he brought us on a journey through history and time and shared the spirit of the people and culture of Marrakesh. He is a wonderful ambassador for Morocco and I’m so glad we started our holiday with this tour, While morning was culture and history, after lunch in a great restaurant we then spent the afternoon traversing the maze of the medina, through areas we would never have found ourselves, the leather district, the metal district, the markets where locals shops, to 3rd generation herbalist and then onto the main thoroughfares. He taught our young adult kids the art of the respectful haggle. He brought us to some of his favourite shops where he knows the quality of goods are excellent. Let him lead you, he brought us to the best places. It was our first time in Morocco and after a day with Rachid, we were well set up to explore Marrakesh, get comfortably lost in the medina and have fun haggling and connecting with so many kind and fun vendors. Great tour with Rashid. Came to meet my wife and I at our Riad. Tours of the Souks but also some of the main sites in the city. Very friendly and knowledgeable, would defintely recommend.

Rashid is the top guide ever. He was on time with a large smile in his face and guided us around Bahia Palace, Medina, Soul and the Coraan Old School. During our stroll he gently explained all cultural aspect and secrets about marrocan culture and it's amazing people and legacy. Rashid deeply know Marroco and it's culture since the ancient times. It was my second time in Marrakech but only after Rashid I can say I visit there. Merci!!!

My friend and I toured with Rachid Gouaghdime and had such an amazing day! He is so kind and took the best care of us. Everywhere we went, people were so pleased to see him and thus treated us with the same hospitality and friendliness. As young women, we felt so safe with him; particularly when he lectured men heckling us and bartered prices at the souks on our behalf. His enthusiasm for Morocco and its people is infectious and by the first hour, my friend and I were already declaring Marrakech our favorite destination on our trip. The day was full of laughs and was also very informative. I highly recommend!!

Rachid is truly the best guide I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make sure me and my friend were take. care of every step of the way. Every transition between the Jardin Majorelle, Bahia Palace, and Medina were smooth and easy and the pacing and stops were placed perfectly. He gave us the opportunity to have real experiences and was incredibly friendly and was able to show us his favorite shops and other friends he encountered during our tour. We found Rachid to be friendly, engaging with a great sense of humour. He had an engaging personality as well as being relatable. He took us through the the palace with ease and historical pride, followed by a little shopping from handpicked shops within the old town. This private tour with Hassan was definitely a golden 5 star and the Very Best Tour I’ve ever had!! Hassan is incredibly knowledgeable with a great personality. He really listens to what the client wants to see and taylor makes the tour to suit you personally. It’s like having a great friend take you. He will navigate the the deep maze of streets and even barter for you with such ease and grace as you watch the price keep dropping and he makes sure no one pressures you to buy and then he carries your parcels! He makes you feel like royalty and when you enter the shops he takes you to, based on your wishes, they stop everything and give you first class treatment. He is highly respected. There is absolutely no better way to not waste your precious holiday time, save money and to experience something so special you will never forget it!! Oh and get this…. I forgot a bag of my shopping goods at a store and they delivered them to where I was. At another store I over paid and the seller phoned Hassan and we returned and were given the money!!

What a guy Rachid is, the man of Marrakech! I was a solo female traveller wanting to explore the city and Rachid looked after me very well, and made sure I was safe at all times. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech.
