Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Miguel Angel F0 contributionsNice tripIsmael was a great driver, nice polite and friendly. We went to the airport with him. Nice price and great experience talking with himWritten 13 August 2024
- antoniosN1608UG0 contributionsExcellent new agent with good toursWe stumbled upon this agent while walking around Fez’ Medina looking for a taxi to visit just Volubilis, the roman ruins. We where impressed by Fatima’s kindness, languages’ knowledge, communication skills and professionalism. She arranged a custom trip to Volubilis for us with an also very professional driver. I recommend her and this agent also based on the trips and tours they suggest. They are created around travellers real needs and concerns. For example, their Medina tour is shopping free, thus avoiding all the unnecessary hustle and -sorry to say- sometimes scams of some shops.Written 12 June 2024

- 305ingridz0 contributionsWonderful cultural tour of FezThis was a wonderful and thoughtful tour. Mohammad took the time to explain the history of Fez, gave us great insight as to the daily lives of people in Morocco, and he was professional and kind. This was a cultural tour and we got to see all the beautiful sites of Fez. We saw a panoramic view of Fez, walked around the medina, saw the oldest University in the world, and got to learn that Fez founded the first mental health hospital in the world. We love to learn and this tour did not disappoint. It exceeded our expectations. Most importantly, Mohammad was true to his word, this was NOT A SHOPPING TOUR. We appreciated this so much because my only criticism about Fez was the constant pushiness of unqualified tour guides. Mohammad was professional and focused on the history and culture and never once took us to a shop to purchase anything. He had the right pace when we walked around the city, which allowed me to take a crazy amount of photos and to take our time browsing the buildings and stores. He answered all of our questions and was patient with us when we wanted more time to explore a site. I highly recommend Mohammad. We felt safe, learned a lot, and most importantly, we felt like we made a new friend.Written 23 February 2024

- Bianci1111110 contributionsExcellentDeparture from Fez on Saturday morning with Soufiane: very nice and preparred as a guide. He took us to Chefchaouen with a couple of interesting stops, together with Moroccan music and stories. On Sunday morning he took us back to Fez, where he even invited us to see the World Cup match Morocco- Belgium in a cafeteria near his place. Strongly recommendedWritten 27 November 2022

- Suebub0 contributionsAsk for Mohammed for your Fes Medina tour guide.Mohammed guided us though the Fes Medina effortlessly. We couldn’t have found our way around without him. He was so patience with us as our main desire was to shop! He took us to all the best places and helped us negotiate the best items to purchase. He speaks impeccable English and will suggest great places to eat as well. He is very knowledgeable and gave us great history lessons all along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed the two days spent with Mohammed as our guide. Ask for Mohammed!Written 29 April 2022
- Michelle M0 contributionsDay tour in and around FesMohammad led my mother and I through the Medina, expertly guiding us and sharing interesting history and current events. We saw very many beautiful handi-crafts and learned in detail how each were made. Although we did not buy from all merchants they were always gracious. I appreciate the ability to skip some parts or spend more time doing something we enjoy. We wanted a later start and Mohammad and our driver Kamal were able to accommodate. Kamal did a fine job getting us around and made friendly conversation. We enjoyed learning about everyday life and culture from him. Would recommend both him highly.Written 25 April 2022
- shanesQ1835XQ0 contributionsExcellent way to see MoroccoMyself and my girlfriend had an excellent time with our guides Mohammed and Hamza visiting Fez, Merzouga, Marrakech and many more stops in between. Hamza was our driver and with us for the whole 5 day trip. He took care of everything for us, from our luggage to helping us buy a SIM card for our phones, and really made us feel welcome. We would both highly recommend travelling with medina tours if you want to visit Morocco. We'll definitely be returning again hopefully soon.Written 16 April 2022

It was awesome! Everything was so cool and enjoyable, and Mohammed was an awesome host. He went above and beyond the entire tour. He came all the way to our place to pick us up and bring us back to where we cooked. Seeing where they shop locally was exciting and we loved cooking our actual meal a lot! There was so much food and it was all so delicious. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a great meal and learn about Morocco and their cuisine. We got way more than our moneys worth! :))

The cooking class was perfect for our group of four! Badr was a great host. He took us through the market and helped us pick out fresh produce, meat, and spices. Then we went back to their Riad and they walked us through cooking tagine and a variety of salads before being served a display of fresh fruits for dessert. You could help as little or as much as you wanted.

This was definitely an unforgettable experience and the highlight of our stay in Fez. Badr was an amazing host and he made us feel welcomed and comfortable the entire time. We had so much fun shopping for ingredients in the medina and Badr was very helpful in explaining to us many different things. At the riad he even offered us Moroccan tea and showed us around the riad and the rooftop terrace which had a spectacular view. The cooking experience was very intimate (it was just us, our host Badr and chef Fatiha) - it felt like we were all cooking together and Fatiha (chef) taught us so much about Moroccan cooking. The food turned out to be the best I had in Fez and there was a LOT of food. Thank you Badr and Fatiha for the wonderful time!

Moundire gave us an unforgettable and very knowledgeable tour of the fes streets/market. Bring your questions because he knows it all!
After picking the ingredients fresh from the market we had some tea and coffee adjacent to the market. We then traveled to his Riad Taha where we prepared the ingredients. Kawtr was integral for this and her skills in the kitchen are NEXT LEVEL!
The tour began at 10 from our hostel (he picks you up) and ended roughly at 3 (at Riad Taha). Everything was top notch and there was more than enough food. 10/10

My boys and I had a wonderful time with Moundir & the chef. From the time he picked us up at our Riad to the time he walked us back. Touring the marketplace to pick out our food was very informative & fun. We learned lots about dates, olives, & what it's like to be a part of a family. Moundir knew so many people & you could tell they love him dearly. He is a part of their family/community. The class itself was great too. I enjoy cooking & am very good at it, so any time I can learn something new, it's worth it. I learned a few new cooking tips to help make my life easier in the kitchen. And the food we prepared...absolutely delicious!!! Thanks Moundir & Chef

We were picked up from our Riad and taken to the market where we met our guide who took us into the market to buy all of the produce needed to make the meal. It was cool to go in behind the tiny shops and pick the vegetables. We then went to the Riad where we would prepare, cook and eat the meal. The cook didn't speak much English but with some help from the guide we were assigned tasks and I had time to make notes on the recipe. Due to the sill of our teacher we thought this was the best taking we had in our whole visit to Morocco, proving i guess that home cooked meals are best. Highly recommended

We are so glad we found this gem of an experience. It was our first day in Fes and we started with a 10AM cooking class. It was a great way to see where the locals shop in the Medina as we picked up fresh produce and then headed to a riad to cook. Mohammed and Aunty Fatiha were very friendly and explained every step. They prepped everything and we helped to make a feast! All the dishes especially the chicken lemon tagine and the baba ganoush were spectacular. Very tasty! Mohammed was kind enough to send over a written recipe so we can try at home. Please give this a go and you won’t regret it! Those who are not used to seeing markets in other countries will be in for a culture shock! Must do whilst in Fes! Thank you both 👍

My partner and I took part in this cooking class. We had a fantastic experience today, we were picked up from our Riad by our guide and taken to meet our cooking guide in the medina to find and buy our ingredients, this was great fun and a very good introduction to Moroccan cuisine and culture. We had a choice of dishes to choose from including chicken tagine a, couscous and some more too. Afterwards, we were taken to Riad Tara where we met the chef and welcomed with some Lemongrass and mint tea (very refreshing), we then began our cooking experience, preparing the dishes, cooking them and learning new cooking tips and tricks.
We finished our course by eating the delicious and flavourful food we had cooked. It was a wonderful experience, the guides were very nice and made us feel very welcome. When we come back to Fez we will do this again. We recommend!

Loved this experience! Badr, our most friendly and knowledgeable guide, took us through the Medina to grab ingredients, which was such a fun way to start our cooking class— a great way to experience the marketplace. Badr was also very gracious in sharing with us the rich Moroccan history and culture. Afterwards, Fatiha taught us how to make tagine and baba ganoush. What an expert! It was so much fun to see the whole process of making these amazing traditional dishes. An unforgettable experience, thank you Badr and Fatiha!!

Phenomenal experience from timely and courteous hotel pickup to a very personable cooking to our liking. Even though the Riad is somewhat renovated, the cooking experience was so nice, detailed and just for the two of us that I can’t say enough in praise for Mohammad. I was a little skeptical with the booking the night before in a new place but they picked us up from our hotel in new town and took us to the Medina. A MUST TRY - lamb Tajine and sides (called salads) were delicious
