- Passport7718110 contributionsGreat tour, minus stop at rug placeGreat tour, especially doing private. Walid, guide, was great. Enthusiastic about his city. Saw many areas/places. Including Hassan II Mosque. Went inside & also into museum. Very interesting. All was great until last stop. A rug & souvenir shop. We did not ask for this & wasn’t interested, but we were captive audience. Proprietor was rather hard sell. Turned us off. Felt like guide should have asked us if interested. Too bad cause last stop/ experience. Without this stop, I would rate tour excellent. I hope tour company will consider this for future people. Again, want to say guide Walid was great.Written 18 March 2025

Our journey began in Casablanca, where we visited the stunning Hassan II Mosque. Its intricate architecture and oceanfront location were breathtaking. The tour included a stroll along the Corniche, where we enjoyed vibrant cafés and views of the Atlantic. We also explored the Royal Palace and the bustling medina, immersing ourselves in the local atmosphere and shopping for unique crafts.
Next, we traveled to Rabat, the capital city, which felt more relaxed. The highlights included the impressive Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the historic Kasbah of the Oudayas. The gardens were a peaceful escape, and the views of the river and ocean were lovely. Our guide shared fascinating stories about the city’s history, making the experience even more enriching.
The tour was well-organized, with knowledgeable guides who brought the history and culture to life. I appreciated the blend of modern and traditional elements in both cities. This tour is perfect for anyone wanting to experience the best of Morocco in a short time. Highly recommended!

Our tour guide Amir was excellent. He was able to bring Rabat life by providing the perfect balance of history and feel for modern day Rabat. The trip was highly enjoyable and would recommend for anyone. It was interesting enough to hold the attention of my teenage daughter.

Our private tour was supposed to be an eight hour tour, but turned out to be nine hours. And that was only possible because we turned some of the stops into drive-bys for quick photo ops and eliminated the lunch (extra cost) stop. This is a very ambitious itinerary and if we were not able to walk so fast, we never could have done it. Our driver, Nabil, said he never saw people who could walk as fast as we do.
We met up with Nabil (aka Billy the Kid!) just outside the port gates. Nabil is a former taxi driver in NYC and Philly so he knows how to navigate the challenging streets of Morocco. We only saw four accidents during our tour and none involved us.
From the port, we went on an exciting (or harrowing, depending on how you look at it) ride to Casablanca’s main tourist attraction, the Hassan II Mosque. We got to the mosque just in time for the 11 a.m. tour. We passed or visited a number of other, less interesting sights in Casablanca before heading to the capital, Rabat. This was scheduled as a one hour drive, but it took at least 90 minutes because of the heavy and chaotic traffic.
Casablanca is interesting but the star of the tour is clearly Rabat, where we visited a number of interesting sights including Bab Chellah (an archaeological site), the Kasbah (fortress) of Oudaias, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and Hassan Tower, and the Royal Palace.
This was an excellent tour, but beware that the itinerary is lengthy and may not be completed if you tarry. Billy points out sights of interest along the way and drops you off at spots to see some things more closely. He has a great personality and is a great tour guide!

We hired an excursion that on paper was very good, according to the opinions. Casablanca only showed us the Ricks Cafe, and the mosque. The guide, who spoke very little Spanish, took us to buy the tickets, and we didn’t see him until more than 15 minutes after we had finished the visit on our own. By the way, very pretty. Then he took us to two shops and when we told him we didn't want to buy, we went out to Rabat. In Rabat he took us to the tomb of Mohamed V, without further explanation. The monument and the views are worth it. Then he took us to the Kasbah, a very nice corner, and then to Mohamed VI’s palace, where only we entered, apparently without documentation. Also the very nice area. From there, he took us back to the boat.
In short, Casablanca is a city with a cloud of pollution, in which only the mosque should be highlighted. Rabat, much cleaner and nicer. Too bad we didn't have a guide to know and understand everything we saw correctly

I decided to do this tour since I had an extra day in Casablanca due to a flight change. The guide arrived at the hotel on time, and throughout the tour, he was professional, friendly, personable, and attentive. I think the tour was run in a very organized manner with the itinerary laid out clearly. It gave me a chance to see Casablanca and Rabat in a way that might not have been possible had I done it independently.

We had a great time in Casablanca and Rabat, thanks to our wonderful guide Sofyan.
While the sites of the huge Masque in Casablanca and all the sites we visited in Rabat were beautiful and unique, having such a great guide as Sofyan made the tour even better.
He was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The tour was truly customizable, we never felt rushed and returned to the cruise ship in plenty of time to board our ship.
Thank you, Sofyan for an incredible day.

I enjoyed this tour and recommend it. The sights were interesting. The guide (Arafa) was engaging. The vehicle was nice. The driving was safe.
More detail—
We were on our feet a bit more than I expected, especially at the mosque. Do go inside! (Extra fee)
A full lunch would have meant cutting some of Rabat, so we ate at a highway service center. That was actually quite good— nice food options and clean.
Somehow I had the idea that max group was 8; we had 13. Still, we fit comfortably in the vehicle.
Nice vehicle, but one seatbelt did not extend far enough to use.
Listing mentions WiFi, bottled water, and candy. We didn’t get any of that.
We drove by Rick’s Cafe but did not stop.
We arrived in Rabat a bit late. That meant we didn’t get to go inside Chellah(?). That was not important to me.
I enjoyed seeing Rabat (a beautiful city) at dusk.
In short, the details were slightly different from what I expected, but not in ways that affected my enjoyment.

Fantastic tour in every respect. Great transport, informative narrative, comfortable pace, sensitive to preferences. Experiencing Casablanca and Rabat with a skilled and informative citizen provided insights and nuances not available on larger group outings. A highlight of our trip which will be long remembered and appreciated.
