Maui Horseback-Waterfall and Ocean Tour
US$ 145.83
Embark upon a horseback adventure in Maui on this guided tour. After your guide matches you with a suitable horse, based on your riding ability, ride up into the valley of the West Maui Mountains through gulches to see waterfalls in the distance. Then, head down the trail to the oceanfront to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean—if you are experienced, you have two opportunities to canter or gallop, weather permitting. Also includes a visit to a petting zoo, home to sheep, mini horses, and rabbits.
What to Expect
Check in is at 8:15am, with a start time of 8:30am.  You will be transported from the parking area up to the "corral" where the horses are waiting.  Helmets and saddlebags are then offered and available to the riders.  A briefing is done by one of the trail guides that covers safety and basic riding skills used on the horses and all questions riders may have are answered.  Riders are then mounted on their horses and head out on the trail.  The trail takes you up into the valley of the West Maui Mountains through beautiful gulches to view waterfalls from a distance, then down to the oceanfront to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean.  There will be 2 opportunities to run your horses, if you want (weather permitting) and your guides will take photos of you along the way with your camera.  Long pants, closed toe shoes, a camera and sunscreen are recommended.  This ride is a 2 hour horseback ride. Refreshments are available and complimentary.  See you at the ranch!

Very good people running a very good operation. Best horseback ride in years.

Stacy, Kristin, (not sure of spelling), AJ and Nick make up a great group of people running a first rate business. Stacy and Kristin take good care of getting you up to the stables and mounted up for the ride. Nick and AJ are great...More

I also found this ride to be amazing. Agree with Danielle (above) but there were times on our ride that inexperienced riders were lagging behind and the horses were "encouraged" to run to keep up. Someone in our group was... More
