Overview
Get an unparalleled perspective of Kauai on this air tour of the Garden Island. Fly in an aircraft that’s specially designed for sightseeing and that accommodates no more than six passengers. Soak up views of Waimea Canyon, Opaekaa Falls, and Na Pali Coast, as well as filming locations for movies including Raiders of the Lost Ark, South Pacific, and King Kong.
What to Expect
Make your way to the Lihue Airport in time for your selected departure. Meet your pilot, and climb aboard the comfortable GA8 Airvan, an aircraft specially designed for sightseeing, with large bubble windows and a spacious cabin that accommodates up to six passengers.

Get an entirely new perspective on the Garden Island’s diverse landscape as you view dramatic cliffs, pristine beaches, red lava fields, and cascading waterfalls from above. Listen through two-way headsets as your pilot provides narration on the sights below you, including Wailua Falls, the Na Pali Coast, Waimea Canyon, and Kilauea Lighthouse.

Your tour returns to Lihue Airport where, with a camera full of photos, you bid your pilot goodbye.

Breathtaking tour of the entire island

We booked this tour to see the island from a 'different perspective', JT was our pilot, it was a fabulous way to see all parts of the island from the air. With the Napali Coast Wilderness Area closed right now, it was a wonderful way...More

Wow! What a tour.

We took the private tour. It is fabulous! The pilot, Ray, and his wife treated us royally. The views from the air were just great. No way we could have seen Kauii any other way. These folks are the best. Suzanne and Jim

See more of the island, Its many waterfalls and valleys.

Very comfortable flight. See a lot more than you can from an auto in less time than a hike. Also very informative as the pilot is also the tour guide.

Great alternative to the helicopter tours

We did this partially for cost, we had our 2 year old son with us and per FAA regs he was considered an adult so we picked this option. We were not disappointed. JT was an excellent pilot. Our son loved the ride and JT...More

I've done a variety of helicopter and plane tours on the various islands and I love flying with Airventures. The staff and pilots are friendly and I've always had a great time. It's a great value for people who choose not to go the route...More

We love to take children and provide noise cancelling headsets to protect their ears. Either the AIrvan or Cessna will be a good choice.

You should not be in turbulent weather on any of our tours; however, once in awhile the mountains will create a little bit of it. Our pilots always seek the best altitude for a comfortable ride while enjoying the... More

The weight limit for the 6 passenger Airvan is 350 per person, the Cessna 270 per person. The Biplane has a combined weight limit of 500 lbs; however, you need to be able to sit comfortably side by side in the 35" cockpit.
