Excellent walking tour of the main sights of Antigua. We are two adults and two teenagers. Our guide was Geovani. He is Guatemalan and is very experienced and knowledgeable about Antigua. We learned a lot of details we would not have learned otherwise. We did the tour in Spanish but he can also do tours in English. One of our children was sick and could not go on the tour. Geovani was very patient with us, waiting half an hour while we got things ready.

Our flight was delayed. It was easy to contact them and let them know of our new arrival time. They were waiting outside with our name on a sign when we exited.

We planned our private trip with Authentic Guatemala with a friend’s recommendation. We were well taken care of by Fabio and his entire team. We had reached out to Fabio to schedule a boat tour on the lake and he scheduled everything for us. We were picked up by Nikolas and his crew from our hotel dock and spent the whole day going to three different Pueblo’s and learning about their history and different products that come from them. We got to try honey wine and artisanal chocolate and see how the women of the area make beautiful textiles. We had a blast and the weather was beautiful the whole time.

We arrived at the airport and were greeted by our driver Abel who would be driving is 3 hours out to Lake Atitlan. We barely felt the drive there. Abel was very knowledgeable about all the areas we drove through and made sure we were comfortable the whole way. We ended up requesting Abel be our driver both for our return to Antigua and then to the airport. Abel also made sure we had his Coordinator’s info if we had any other things we’d like to plan. Fabio was very kind and always answered all my questions.

I contacted Fabio over Whatsapp a couple of months ahead of our Guatemala trip and he was able to arrange everything over a few text messages. He was efficient and responded quickly to all my questions. Apart from the private transfers during the trip, we ended up booking a private birding tour in Los Terrales through Authentic Guatemala. The cars used for the transportation were in excellent condition and were comfortable and spacious. The folks who drove us around - Abel and Wilson were extremely courteous, punctual and accommodating. They made traveling with a 1.5 year old a breeze! The birding tour was amazing. We got to explore the preserve at our pace and our guide Eve was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We are grateful to her for showing us around. Fabio checked in on us during the whole trip and really appreciated that - five star service all around!

Had a great all-day tour of Antigua and the surrounding communities with Geovanni. It couldn't have been any more perfect. He was very knowledgeable about the historical, agricultural and religious significance of the things we saw and the places we visited. Pick up was at my door and, as it was a private tour, we were able to take our time and see the things that were of interest to me. It is a good tour for someone who doesn't have a lot of time in Antigua and wants to see more than just the Arch and souvenir shops. Thanks!

My friend and I are veteran travelers, combined we have been to 60 countries. We had a very pleasant and safe journey with Lionel. He was really friendly and told us lots about Antigua. He also recommended a great restaurant call Conception which we went to and had an excellent meal there.

This tour is perfect for anyone wanting a solid introduction to Antigua. We learned so much about the city's history and explored areas we might have missed on our own. Highly recommend for first-time visitors!

Our guide Giovani was fantastic, he answered all of our questions and elaborated on them. We enjoyed his recommendations, explanations, and vast knowledge of Antigua and Guatemala. If you are curious about history, please book with him. My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learned a lot! P.S. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as all the streets are made of rocks!

Our driver, Wilbur, seemed to have supernatural driving abilities for our transportation from Guat City to Panajachel. I recommend Dramamine before the trip and expect an experience like riding a rollercoaster in a theme park. Beautiful views and very clean and comfortable vehicle.
