Transportation for the two of us from our hotel in Guatemala City was included. Our driver, Juan Carlos, was on time at 5:30 am, and was so kind, safe, helpful. (He stayed with us all day to keep an eye on the tour.) He drove a small Hyundai. After a good breakfast in Panajachel (included in the tour), we were led to the waterfront and loaded into a small, covered boat which easily accommodated our group, which turned out to be nine people. Our tour guide, Nicolás, gave us a short talk about the lake and villages and an overview of our tour. The boat took us first to San Juan. We were there about 90 minutes, first at a chocolate shop that included a demonstration of how they process chocolate there. The demonstrator followed us around at the end encouraging purchases. Next we went to a weaving co-op for another demonstration and shopping opportunity. (Both of these demonstrations are available to any tourist who walks in.) We were given a very small amount of time to look around the small town, which is extraordinary and well decked out for tourists. The boat then took us for a 20-minute stop in San Pedro, an unremarkable town. Our last stop by boat was Santiago, a great little town with a good view. We returned to Panajachel by boat and Juan Carlos drove us back to our hotel. If you can get yourself to and from Panajachel, you may be able to do all this on your own by hiring a boat at a significantly reduced price. Nicolás was good, but the amount of tour guiding he did was not worth the expense of the tour. He seemed invested in how much we bought, especially in Santiago, his home town.

Great communication. Our driver was helpful, professional and very safe. Abel made sure we were comfortable. Fabio was incredibly helpful and great at problem solving when I made a mistake. Additionally, I was able to request kids seats, so I could feel safer traveling with my young kids. Price was good. Will definitely use next time I come to Guatemala.

The best car service! The driver (Favio) was attentive, on time, and very helpful. He took the time to stop at plaves so that we cpuld take pictures with the beautiful scenary. The service provided child seats for our 1 and 3 year olds. When i forgot to leave the keys to our Air bnb the shuttle servicd arranged to have our keys returned to the Air Bnb with no extra charge. If you don't use this service you are doing yourself a diservice.

We had an amazing tour!! We have been to Antigua, Guatemala well over a dozen times and learned so many new things! The tour was private so the guide was really able to allow us to customize it a bit and he answered every historical and cultural question we had! Fun tour but could use more communication about where we are going and what we are doing prior to doing it. That being said, I felt safe, loved the pace and the guides were very helpful. Transportation from Guatemala City was smooth and very comfortable. Fabio did an amazing job creating a custom week long itinerary for my family and I. All tours in Antigua, Lake Atitlan, and Tikal were excellent and also all transfers were very smooth. He really provided great support through the trip which allowed us to be flexible and make changes if needed. For example in Lake Atitlan we wanted to do a sunrise hike and combine it with some village visits, and he was able to organize a private tour for us that worked out perfectly.
