Mayan ruins and cave float lead by an incredible guide!
Dimas was an amazing tour guide. Our friends, my wife and I toured Mayan ruins and then did the cave float. Both are so highly recommended! Especially if you get Dimas as a guide!

        I got book recommendations!!
This activity was perfect ! We had a driver pick us up at our hotel and he stayed with us when we crossed the border to Guatemala. We also already had another driver ( Luis #1 ) waiting for us on the other side. We drove for a while and he picked our guide ( Luis #2 ) we did all the stops mentioned. And Luis #2 literally educated us on everything! He even recommended me at least four books to learn more about the Mayas and Guatemala and Belize’s history. I bought the Dresden Codex and he told me which book would help me understand it better. I am literally so grateful for our guide and drivers. And lunch was delicious !

Seamless Transfer from BZE to San Ignacio
We had a rough flight from Orlando to Belize City, with floods affecting our flights in Miami, so we had last second flight changes that had me on edge regarding our pickup from BZE. Fortunately Terry at Cayo Inland made herself readily available well in advance, and was super easy to get in contact with, and very responsive. I was able to update her with our flight changes, and she made all the adjustments on her end. When we landed and made it through customs, our driver was outside with our name waiting for us. The car was clean, and Wayne, our driver was extremely informative and friendly. Wayne took us to his favorite spot for lunch in between Belize City and San Ignacio. If you need a transfer in Belize, Cayo Inland would be who I recommend.

Lots of history and wildlife! It was hot but very worth it.
Our guide, Sergio, was very knowledgeable and took us to some ruins where there were no other people. We saw lots of wildlife and got to climb some really tall temples and pyramids. Bring cash for extra water because you will want to drink more than you can start out carrying, and there are stands to buy more in the reserve.

Refreshing tubing after an exciting zip line adventure.
A little climbing at the start of the zipline but not too bad. My kids even saw a howler monkey at the end of the ziplinning. It was fun, had a great lunch, then relaxed with tubing through the cave. Even better if you bring a snorkel and mask!

        Most Memorable Excursion
This tour left a lasting impression on us, and we will continue to talk about it for days to come. Our sincerest and deepest gratitude to Hector for guiding us skillfully through ATM and sharing his own connection to Mayan history. As the only non-swimmer in the group, Hector kept a close watch on me. The cave was vast, and yet Hector guided us through every small step and crevice to get us through safely. While other cave excursions throw in a bit of history and lore, this ATM experience gave it all. We came out proud for overcoming physical challenges and fears, and with a deep respect and awe of Mayan history, as well as archaeological discovery. Thank you also to Reuben in San Ignacio, who encouraged us to take this tour by taking the time to address our concerns. He literally invited us to sit down to talk through options. No other tour group spent that time with us. In the world of customer service, Reuben is just superb. P.S. No photos allowed on the ATM tour, sadly!

Worth it! Zip lines were epic; cave tubing was even better.
O'Neal was the best guide. Zip-lines were awesome. The river float through the caves was even better. O'Neal was very personable and adapted our tour to the interests and preferences of our group. This was the top highlight of our stay in Belize. It was worth coming to Belize for this alone.

        This is the one!
Just book it already! Ask for O’Neal and have the time of your life! This was the highlight of our trip to Belize. The zip lining was fun but the best part is the cave tubing. By far! Such a unique, magical experience. I went with some family (husband, sisters, brother-in-law). There were 2 people outside of our family on the tour, 7 people in total. O’Neal was super knowledgeable and fun. Even taking us on the longer version of the cave tubing tour. We all loved it!

        Amazing day Ziplining and Caving!
The perfect day. O’Neill was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He even took us through parts of the caves not many people visit The caves themselves are spectacular-way longer than I expected. O’Neill gave us really interesting information about the caves while floating down. I would definitely take this excursion again Totally worth it!

Excellent half day cave tubing trip
Excellent tour! About a 45 minute hike with a few spots where you wade through the river until you get to the cave. Then you are relaxingly floating through the cave as the tour guide explains facts about the area and aspects of the cave. You have lighted helmets so you can see what is around. We paused about half way through, parked the tubes and walked for a little bit before a very nice 5 to 10 minute swim. The guide had about 10 years experience on this particular tour and was very friendly and helpful. Lunch was great - stewed chicken with beans and rice.

Excellent half day tour in the ATM caves
The tour was awesome! It was a bit more difficult to get through the cave than I expected but well worth the effort. The guide, who had been doing this tour for 20 years, was terrific. He was very helpful for those who had trouble in some areas and explained the artifacts and Mayan beliefs very well. The tour did get a little crowded as other groups moved through faster but it was not a big deal. The lunch they provided was great as well. We had buffet style BBQ chicken with beans and rice and plantains - a local favorite. This tour company was the only one that worked with me as an individual passenger. John helped me get the ATM tour on Tuesday and then saw me walking around on Wednesday and set me up with another tour (next review). Other places promised to email or Whatsapp when something became available - but none did. Sorry, no pics. We could not take phones / cameras due to some previous artifact damage.

        Great private experience!
Our guide, Hector, was really great! We ended up being just the two of us with him while other companies had big groups of 8 people. Also, we were first in the cave which gave us privacy and a much better experience since we were alone for 40 minutes and more. We really appreciated the driver, Wayne, he really went beyond for our lunch break and it was appreciated. Really great tour overall would recommend!

The experience and the tour guides far exceeded my expectations! We had John Paul for the full day and I cannot recommended him highly enough. If you can request him and book with him, DO IT! He’s incredibly knowledgeable and great to spend the day with. I learned so much and had a great experience.

Only a certain number of guides can take you through the ATM cave itself to Jamir took us through that part. Again, highly recommend him! He was knowledgeable, fun, and kept us all safe.

The ATM was a great adventure where we also learned a lot. The ruins were beautiful and again a great learning experience.

I was so glad to have these specific guides and these experiences were the highlights of our trip. We took another company the next day and wished we had these guides again. I highly recommend this company and this trip!

I don't know where to begin. The ATM cave is unbelievable from start to finish! Do not leave Belize without this experience. We weren't going to do Xunantunich the same day, but we were on such a high after the ATM cave that we didn't want the day to end.....even at 37 degrees celcius! Cayo Inland Adventures were so accommodating. I also think they must employ the best guides around. We had Hector for the Cave tour and Onil for Xunantunich and I couldn't imagine the day without them. The information they provided went so far above and beyond and the passion they shared was inspiring. Thank you so much for the this incredible day!

We were picked up by O'neil promptly, about five minutes before our scheduled time. He was very informative, friendly, and all around great to deal with. We got to the ATM Cave Site where Hector was our tour guide. Made sure we were completely safe with the river crossings, swimming, and rock climbing. He was able to answer all questions regarding both the geological and archaeological findings in the cave. This is a must see if you're in Belize, as I do not think you'll ever find an experience like anywhere else. Afterwards, a delicious BBQ lunch was served, and O'neil drove us to the Xunantunich and gave us an amazing tour of the Mayan site. Overall, our experience with Cayo Inland was great, and we'd recommend to anyone visiting Belize.

Amazing Tour. This is the third tour we did in San Ignacio with Cayo Inland, and it was amazing. The ATM cave experience is amazing. It was challenging at parts but well worth it. I would highly recommend asking to leave as early as possible. We have the cave for the whole way in. The experience will be so much more special that way. We saw many other groups going in as we were coming out and the missed the experience of the silence and exploring by themselves.

Xunatunich is an amazing ruin. We loved it even though we went to Tikal the day before.

Oh…my…god this is one of the most amazing experiences my mom and I have ever had. We went to ATM in the morning, although some parts of the cave were challenging. Our professional caver tour guide Ian guided us through with ease, he was very funny and knowledgeable. The cave was indescribable… you really have to see it for yourself! Our main tour guide Dimas picked us up in the morning, waited while we were at the cave and made us a delicious Belizian lunch! Dimas was very sweet seemed to know a lot about ancient Maya culture. We enjoyed hiking around the ruins with him in the later half of the day. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone whose up for a great adventure!

Wow! We did the ATM tour and can’t say enough good things about it. Starting from our driver O’Neil, who picked us up at our rental, explained what to expect the entire time, shared fun information about the area, and served an excellent, easy lunch after the tour. We felt safe and well taken care of the entire trip! Our guide for the tour, Hector, did an amazing job leading us through the trek and did an awesome job making sure our daughter was safe. His guide experience was very apparent and we were super impressed. 10/10!!

The ATM cave was amazing. Our guide was Jam Jam and he was not only funny, but extremely knowledgeable about the history of the cave, and he made sure we saw every cool feature that there was to see. We were a bit concerned about the "danger" and "difficulty" that we saw on other posts, but in reality if you are remotely in good shape it is not difficult. Definitely wear closed toed shoes or sandals, and prepare to get wet!
O'Neil was our guide for the Xunantunich Temple, and he also was very knowledgeable. He took his time to ensure we enjoyed the experience.
Both sites were definitely worth it, and the guides get high recommendations from us!

This was a great experience and a great way to see two wonderful places in one day vs. doing them individually. For each site, we had our own expert guide. The met me on time at my hotel in San Ignacio, provided a great lunch, and had water available during the trip. The ATM cave experience was my favorite part and we arrived early, before all the other groups arrived around 11AM. Xunantunich was also a pleasant surprise, as we saw this after ATM and the crowds were not as big. Great planning by the Cayo Island Expedition team. Thanks, guys.

The cave was incredible and Hector our guide in the ATM was great. He kept us safe. It was a lot more physically demanding than we thought. Needed grip socks. They are serious about no cameras. The afternoon ruins were nice and our guide was great.

Really glad we went to ATM cave! Our guides Marlin and Gliss were amazing! We booked through Get Your Guide but it was actually Belize Cave Expeditions that picked us up at our hotel and did the unforgettable tour! It included a delicious Traditional Belize lunch afterward that was delicious! I was nervous but Gliss was so helpful and made the tour safe, educational and very special.
