- I8750XZheatherb0 contributionsLoved this bike tour! Wear gloves in the winter!Loved this bike tour. It was great to get up to the castle and see so many things that you wouldn’t be able to see on a walking tour. Recommend an e-bike for the hills but you can make it either way! I felt very safe the whole time. Yousef was very knowledgeable and so nice!Written 24 November 2024

- 715joc0 contributionsGreat introduction to the cityThis bike tour was a great introduction to the city on our first day there. It helped us to decide where we wanted to visit over the weekend. Beka was happy to organise the tour around what we wanted to do. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and told us about it in an entertaining way. The bikes only had 3 gears, which was fine for riding around pest, but the hill up to Buda Castle could have done with more gears. I would recommend an e-bike if you want to cycle up there.Written 8 October 2024
- isleofwightseagull0 contributionsGreat way to combine cycling and learning about the city.A great experience. It was just the two of us (with our guide, Beka) as most people seem to prefer the Segway tours! So he tailored our route and we got to cycle up Buda Castle Hill (which you don’t do routinely on those tours as it’s quite a climb). We wouldn’t have been able to negotiate the cycle tracks so easily on our own. Beka was very knowledgeable with a good sense of humour. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.Written 26 September 2024
- wendyco10 contributionsGood bike tour, maybe a bit too short to get a good feel about the city.It was a nice tour. It was very hot, so we took electric bikes. This really helped with the hills. The tour was 2.5 hours, and because the bikes needed to be watched, you were sent to look at things without a tour guide. I have done many tours, but felt it was light on seeing landmarks. It might be that Budapest is more spread out than other cities, but this was definitely noted. Our tour guide, Sam, was good, and had a decent knowledge of Hungarian history.Written 31 August 2024

- fulhamsupporter0 contributionsGreat e-bike tourHad a great experience on the e-bike tour - you need an e-bike to cope with the Budpaest hills at least on the Buda side. Sam was a great host, knew his stuff and was good at telling stories, both the funny ones and the more serious side of the city's history.Written 22 August 2024

- Whitbychick0 contributionsFantastic 4 hours riding around the city’s sightsOur booked bike tour ended up just myself and my partner with tour guide Sam who was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the city’s sights and history. We had a fantastic time seeing all the sights and enjoying a fabulous traditional cake at one of the stops. Highly recommend this tour.Written 4 August 2024
- A661JNmargarets0 contributionsExcellent experience with Yellow Zebra Budapest - EurosegwayWe had an amazing experience with Hafa, our tour guide. We highly recommend! We ended up being the only couple on the tour. So it seemed like a private tour, by fluke. Hafa knows so much of the history and shared unique details throughout. The tour group asked questions at the beginning to make sure they arranged a tour that took us to areas of Budapest that we had not already explored. We did upgrade to an e-bike. Highly recommend. We have started setting up bike tours in each city we travel to, the trip advisor reviews have been spot on. Hope this helps a fellow traveler to use this group!!Written 30 July 2024
- ruben c0 contributionsBest way to quickly meet the townBest way to quickly learn about the history and to see the most important features of the city. Big Thanks to Beka, the tour guide, for being super chill and flexible along the ride!Written 27 July 2024
- stephenpP1032PH0 contributionsFabulous Budapest bike tour!My husband and I had a wonderful private tour with Hafa from Yellow Zebra bike tours. Our Danube River bike tour encompassed a leisurely and safe ride across the Petofihid Bridge to the Buda side of Budapest, stopping at all the significant sights including the Great Market Hall, Buda Castle/ Palace, oldest Thermal Baths and Fisherman’s Bastion. We returned to Pest side via the Liberty Bridge and stopped to see the iron shoes and more. Throughout the tour Hafa provided us with knowledgeable commentary and historical/political context. We highly recommend Hafa as we appreciated his consultative engagement with us to ensure that we saw the sights we wanted to see and not just a stock standard company based tour. Haifa’s excellent command of English was impressive and we enjoyed his friendly, easy going and humorous interaction. Do yourself a favour and book this tour!Written 21 July 2024

My partner and I decided to do this as an activity here in a Budapest. Very underwhelming, the guide didn’t really engage with any of the other people in the group. We became separated numerous times and the guide didn’t realizes until later on. oblivious that we as tourists are riding on unfamiliar roads trying to catch up.
Not impressed.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with us Maxwell. We're really sorry to hear that you didn't get what you expected. Unfortunately, it indeed happens that the group members separate from each other because of city lights, but our guides always keep their eyes on each group member and make sure they can catch up after being separated, nobody gets left behind. After investigating this case with the guide it turned out that he personally asked you couple of times if everything was ok and you said yes. It would have been nice to solve this problem right at the spot, he could definitely pay even more attention to you, this is something to be improved from his side too. Please, check other guests' review about the same tour, they shared positive experiences with us. Lastly, please accept our apologies again and we hope that you enjoyed your time in Budapest nonetheless.

Our guide was Sam. I travelled to Budapest from Devon, England with my sister in law. We decided on an E bike tour as it seemed like the easiest way to see the city. We were not wrong. The bikes were of a good quality and it saved our legs from doing all the work! Sam was an excellent guide, happy to taylor the route to suit us and we found we covered lots of what we wanted to see. Time was made for stops and he explained the background and history well. We also had a little break for refreshments along the way. We would highly recommend booking this tour and cannot thank Sam enough for giving us extended time (3 hrs) and the benefit of all his local knowledge. Book now! Suzanna and Helen.

A fabulous way to see the highlights of Budapest! The E Bikes were very easy to use and a great way to get around the city. I would thoroughly recommend doing this activity; we saw so much in a couple of hours. What made it extra special was our guide, Hami, who gave us so much interesting information about the history of Budapest and about the various sights he took us to. There was plenty of opportunity for photos, discussion and questions. We even had time to walk around a lot of the areas. Do it, you won't regret it.

Alen was a great guide, patient and encouraging, building my confidence on the bike to begin with, as I had not ridden for several years. Great tour, the bikes were in great condition, we saw and learned lots. Thanks Alen!

Nour was fantastic. He gave us so much information and it was so fun to explore the city on bike. Since there was only 4 of us and we were going pretty quickly, he took us to other sites in the city center which was so nice.
Overall a fantastic tour and would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our E bike tour. Saw so many sites and Hami was a great tour guide. He took the time to make sure everyone was safe and together. His facts about the city and it’s history were wonderful. I learned a lot.
The company has been recently purchased evidently and just a few things. The directions/address we were given was not right. We had to call and luckily it was just around the corner and one of the employees came to get us.
We also paid for the 4 hr ride that said it included coffee and strudel. We did end up making our way to a strudel shop because I asked about it but Hami wasn’t aware of this part of the tour. Not his fault at all and he reached out to the owner about it. The owner refunded everyone the cost of the coffee and strudel when we got back. New owner needs to update the tour info. Still giving 5 stars because Hami was great!

My wife and I took the e-bike tour of Budapest. Our guide was Hemi and he gave us a great experience with good humour and well-explained history. He gave us plenty of time and encouraged us to ask questions. At the start, we thought four hours on a bike would be too long but in the end it was almost five hours and we loved every minute of it. All the staff we met at the base were very helpful and friendly. Thanks to Hemi for the tour and Igor for the booking. We highly recommend this way of getting to know the city. Many thanks and continued success to you all.

Outstanding excursion. Our guide was Beka and it was the best experience we have ever had. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history, but also provided many fun facts. He was an excellent guide and made sure we had a safe, enjoyable, and educational ride. The e-bikes were in excellent condition and well maintained.

We are interested in booking an electric bike tour for 4 people.
However, two of us have tremendous fear of heights. I would therefore like to make sure if any part of the route will be crossing bridges, or mountainous or curved roads. Also, any roads with low guard rails would be a problem.
Is there any way that you could send us pictures of the route so that we can ascertain if this trip is right for us.
Thank you.
